Hi xda, my loved Mi Mix 2 suddenly stopped working :-(
Maybe someone can help me?
My phone was charging over night (turned on), in the morning it was in boot screen.
And now i can't get it to work anymore.
Situation:
Bootloader unlocked
TWRP installed
CFW installed (used it for 2 weeks or so)
Hotkey for fastboot not working (Power + vol down)
Hotkey for recovery not working (Power + vol up)
Phone stuck in boot screen (Mix + powered by android)
Charging LED working
Phone charges
Anywone has an idea how i can revive my phone?
The problem is, that i can access no fastboot and no recovery.
Thank you very much for your help!
Try teardown the phone and replug battery connector and see if that fixed . Could be motherboard failure too

Hello everyone,
when I boot my phone into recovery mode, there is only one option available: Odin Mode. It says "downloading. do not turn off...".
I can get into CWM through RomManager and everything else works fine. Just flashed Jelly Bean an hour ago.
I had to replace my USB port some days ago and this issue was present before the port was changed. So I thought it had something to do with that.
It would only become an issue when the phone would be in a bootloop...
How can I "force" the phone out of OdinMode? Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance.
I just pull the battery.
Volume up + volume down + power is to get to bootloader
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using xda premium
Thanks. I messed something up there...
Still use a HTC Desire S/Saga as a second phone and there it's vol & power for bootloader and vol+, vol- & power for hardware reset.
SOLVED : BATTERY WAS DRAINED AT THE MAX, never seen that.
Hello all,
This kind of discussion has already been mentionned but i didn't found anything (may be bad search).
After flashing a rom (PureIon rom) through CMW and without the requiered kernel (in this case the .211 or something like that was needed) the phone was stuck on boot "Sony".
A this moment i cannot enter neither in flash mode or fastboot mode.
If i keep it on the wall poser supply, it stays turned off with red led (not blinking, constant), after a while he automatically turns on and stuck on the Sony logo.
If I just shut off (simple keep power+volume up) there is no way to turn on the phone, i have to re-plug the phone against the wall power supply and wait.
The hard reset (3 vibrations after keeping 10sec the power+vol up) is not working anymore
Someone has already had this king of behaviour ?
Thank you in advance.
Regards.
Hello everyone.
Friend of mine had a hox with stock rom. He got strange reboots on low battery(known issue). Thats why he wanted to install a custom rom. Unlocking bootloader was successful and then he stuck. He was able to boot to bootloader etc. But somehow after unlocking the device was in htc bootloop. As far as I know, he brought this device to me after this fail, as i got more experience with hox.
So.. after spending half of the day with that device(I was trying to turn it on into bootloader) this is what i got:
Device is not reacting on any of my actions, f.e:
Volume Down + Power
Volume Up + Power
Volupe Up + Down + Power (holding about 3 mins)
The red LED is not turning on or blinking after connecting the cable. Tried to connect the device to notebook, another notebook, wall charger and car charger .
Seems like device is dead
So, my question is: Is it possible to boot this device in bootloader? Thank you in advance for helpful posts.

Ty for the reply. Currently I am trying to charge it with the wall charger for some days. After I'll try that out.
Charging with the wall charger for 5 days brought nothing. Does anyone got a clue what could been happen to the device? Currently I have disassemled the device. What and where should I look for?
Currently i`m waiting for a new battery. After disassembling I`ve just measured the voltage of the battery and it was 0... So I`ll try with a new one and will reply here

Hi, my Mi5S has a problem described in thread name. It has stock rom, wasnt rooted or unlocked (bootloader). When I plug it in power or it has some battery juice it continuously reboots and boots into these modes for a few seconds and again. I could get into recovery menu also but after a second it rebooted once again. Is there any chance to save it please? Thanks for answer.
Okay, it was power button being stuck, its working now.
