Forum posts didn't help. When you try to install the firmware, it loads endlessly. In addition to (Swipe to Dalvik, Data, Cache) it was necessary to do (Swipe to Factory Reset)

You have probably wiped data too which is a factory reset. Run your back up or reflash.

i reflashed an old version 2.3.4 and every thing is working fine, got an OTA update on phone and downloaded the update using wifi and it turned off as the part of update process, thats it and never turned on :crying::crying::crying:
i tried again to flash the same version but never worked!!! what can i do now
Flash THIS with the flastool and report back.
i tried that just now and it does the same result, after flashing the .ftf file it says to take the cable off and turn it on. It never turns on but when i press the power button it blinks the green LED (donno what it does mean!!)
any ways thanks for your suggestion.
Try THIS instead, if that doesn't work then not sure.

Excellent. Sometimes we just can't see the wood for the trees, myself included.
Hi, guys. It's been a long time since i know this forum from one of my colleague. I admit, xda-developers are the best site ever.
Oke, master.. i need some help.
I am using Android Assistant, on my original Stock ROM S5660 DXKT4, everythings works. But, when i upgrading my firmware to the latest firmware, my Android Assistant tab tool cannot be opened, if i touch tab tools on the up-right screen, it will force close.
So, i curious about some bug on the application or my handheld. So, i restore the original rom. And, the android assistant works good on DXKT4.
Fyi, i am using Stock ROM S5660 DXKT8 regional Indonesia now and Android Assistant still force close.
I already wipe data, wipe cache, wipe dalvick cache. But, nothing's changed.
Is there anybody who can help me?
Sorry if i had misspelled-words or bad sentence. Thanks before
Best Regards,
Androcipz

I have the same problem, since i flashed a new rom, can u help me out, how did u fix the problem?
I just flashed a 4.2 Mmuzzy ROM and now my Helo TC app wont connect to my helicoptor. I can't find anything on any of the sites as to what I can flash that will allow it to connect again. The ROM is awesome and is running great, but I'd like to be able to use the chopper as it's a fun accessory. Any help?
Wrong forum. You should try the ROM thread for more immediate help. How ever, have you wiped data and cache on the app? Uninstall and reboot and then reinstall.

Sorry,
I couldn't post in the actually thread for the ROM or I would have posted there. Site restrictions dont allow for "newbies" to the site post just anywhere. Im pretty sure thats a got to be a common issue because not everyone goes and posts 10 generic comments randomly just so they can ask a basic question in the right spot. Regardless, i will wipe and try again. Thanks.
Hi,
I have flashed my phone today with hellboy kernel and aokp_primou jan 15-13.
Great rom only by incoming calls no ringtone even by you tube no sound.
if i touch the volume control with + and - (on the side from the phone)
than i hear beeps.
I try another hellboy kernel but nothings changed.
Has someone an idea ?
By stock sense rom everything is okay that means de harware is not broken.
Maybe i try an earlier aokp rom.
Already thanks for answering,
Greats Harold
Same problem
I got exactly the same problem!
Did you solve it with flashing an earlier aokp rom?
Thanks

I got the same problem with the guy who posted this one, if I do a full wipe will I need to do another flash of the AOKP ROM?
Thanks in advance.
If you just do a wipe, just the user data is erased. Therefore,no need to flash again.

Would you if this would resolve my issue with data usage on my phone, I am on a plan with unlimited data surfing but when I choose to turn on my data connection and it wouldn't work.
BTW thanks for the wiping part, it did work on my phone.
Thank you!
Yes,its a common problem.you have to reboot your device in order to enable data.sometimes my data is not enabled even if left on overnight.or,you have to switch it on and off many times for it to work.
There's also the carrier to blame in such situations.

Thanks so much, I'll complete it later. Got one last question, I know its out of this thread but couldn't find the right answer in other forum. Videos are not working as well and I haven't got a clue on how I can play music with this custom ROM in my SD card.
Please help me on this. Thanks alot!
Just install MX player from playstore for videos and, isn't there a music player already provided in the Rom(can't remember).if not, download poweramp from playstore.

No, haven't tried via bootloader.
I am not sure how safe is that, I mean i dont have my rom backup and i don't wanna mess and brick my phone trying something that i am not confident of.
So please tell me if Factory reset is safe vua bootloader ? I mean i won't have to install ROM and Kernal stuff again right ? Just a simple Factory reset and my phone will roar back to life after format ? Right ?
Check out this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2243318
This makes me think twice before attempting reset via bootloader.

Hey man, I appreciate you going beyond the line for helping me out by performing a factory reset yourself ! Seriously, Thank you bro.
Haha, since it does nothing, i am glad you didn't have to take pains of reconfiguring everything after reset .
The primary reason i wanted to perform reset was, lately i am getting error "System UI stopped" and really runs low on ram.
Instead of reset, try going to recovery and choose fix permissions. That should help that problem to go away
Looks like the comment that this was a reply to has been cleaned from the thread. Sorry for adding to the ot
