I install Bliss OS (newest version) to my laptop. After install, it keeps return to network boot or something. I have tried using other format, create partitions myself, turn off Fast Boot and Anti Thief, turn off BIOS boot mode but doesn't work. (This laptop doesn't have Secure Boot, I believe)
My laptop specs:
HP Probook 4530s
4GB RAM
100GB SSD
Intel Core i5
Do I have to download older version or anything? Or there is no other choice?
Go to Bliss Telegram or Discord, let me see if I can help

Ok I have a backup of 8.0 on a usb flash drive before I upgraded to 8.1 which I loved. I am very tech savvy and have flashed lots of roms, comfortable with Reg edits and hacks. I think I went too far now...
I remember a boot speed boost tweak I read on the internet which I thought I would try on my vivo tab. I ran msconfig and went to the boot menu. I checked No GUI boot and then went to advanced options and selected in number of processors - 4 (as it's a tegra quad core) and maximum memory as 2gig, I applied, got a warning message about bitlocker which was fine as I have recovery key and rebooted.
However.... upon starting I get Preparing Automatic Repair message, then Diagnosing PC message, then Your PC did not start correctly. So I click on Advanced options and have tried every option possibly listed. I used the Windows 8 recovery image in my usb drive to refresh, repair, reset, and nothing works. Says install media and I do and says not correct media. Unless it is expecting 8.1 backup which I don't have. I thought anyone could revert to 8.0 anyway.
So matter what I try I cannot get it to start. If only I could undo those boot changes. Maybe via command prompt?
Any help greatly appreciated.

Yes. Boot to command prompt mode, then extract the WinRT 8.0 WIM file from USB over the drive C:\ with the "dism /apply-image /imagefile:e:\...\your_recovery.wim /index:1 /applydir:c:\"
I'd recommend to format c: before doing this. Obviously you'll lose all your data.
You may also need to edit boot options with bcdedit.
If you have the 8.0 recovery image, you'll need to actually boot from the USB stick directly. I think that this is due to the invalidation of 8.0 signatures that happened in 8.1. I only know how you do this with Surface RT: with the USB stick connected and the Surface off, hold volume down, then press and hold the power button until you see the Surface logo. It'll then take noticeably longer to boot, since it's reading off USB instead of the built-in SSD.
I don't know how different this procedure would be on an Asus Vivo Tab.
Ok I solved it by downloading a different recovery image to the one I had. Managed to install and boot by volume down button. Strange because my recovery image worked before. All running fine ?
However I then ran into another problem. All of a sudden after a reset I got an error saying "unable to reset your pc. A required hard drive partition is missing". What the heck I did nothing. Also when I tried to use bitlocker recovery key it said the hard drive is locked. Unlock the drive and try again.
So after some hours of research, I booted to command prompt and typed:
bcdboot
and then...
bcdboot c:\windows
and it said boot files copied successfully. I rebooted with fingers crossed and it WORKED!!!

This may be due to you've reformatted your USB stick to NTFS, then copied there your recovery image, since UEFI can boot only from FAT32 disks.
Glad to see the joys of Windows troubleshooting isn't lost on their tablets.
I'm really considering moving from Android based tablets to Windows 8 tablets once the platform matures a little bit. They run so smoothly (tried a few out at my local Staples). The OS is basically built for touchscreen anyway.
I have recently built myself a new gaming computer and I installed Windows 8.1 on it. Today, I wanted to dual boot Ubuntu over Windows. So, the regular, downloaded Ubuntu, got a USB and made it bootable with the "universal usb installer" which i downloaded from some site pendrivelinux. I disabled UEFI Secure boot and fast-boot but it still won't show the boot menu to choose the OS. Anyone help here?
Specs:
Intel Core i7-4770k not overclocked
8 GB DDR3 CORSAIR VENGEANCE 2x4GB 1600MHZ
SAPPHIRE DUAL-X R9 270X 2GB GDDR5 OC
MSi Z87-GD65 GAMING MOTHERBOARD
CORSAIR AX860W POWER SUPPLY
I think it should run all OS really smooth, but I really don't know how to fix this.

Visit HERE and read 7. Boot Repair
when I re-booted it did not give me the option to select which OS I wanted to use it just loads windows.

Go to UEFI settings once again... find UEFI Boot options there... you'll see Windows Boot Loader and Linux Boot Loader.... change the order to put Linux Boot Loader on the top. It should solve the issue.

Thanks mate, that seems to fix it
Hey guys. I have a Wifi-only 32GB Dell Venue 8 Pro. I had a problem where anytime the camera was opened, the tablet would BSOD. After some research I determined that there was a problem with the then-new chipset drivers. I downloaded the old one and all was fine again. Later, it self-updates to the latest faulty drivers. I again install old drivers, but by mistake I installed the wrong chipset's drivers. Now I BSOD on boot, every single time. How can I fix this? I've tried safe mode (which doesn't let me install the correct drivers), and other things. I had previously stupidly deleted the recovery partition to save space, and now I am at a loss on what to do. I'm thinking that what is needed is a recovery disk image from a USB flashdrive, but I do not have one. Where could I get one?
Alright well I seem to have finally fixed my own problem. I disabled the Processor controllers and other components marked with a warning sign from Safe Mode in the device manager. Had to use a mouse and use some creativity to open the control panel. One of them was causing the BSOD.
The tablet would then boot into Windows, so I went back to the UEFI settings and reset it to default settings. This enabled Wi-Fi. I was then able to slowly go back and update driver software from dell's website. It's all good now, and I'm downloading Windows 10074. I bricked it back in January so it was stuck in 9926.
Anyone know why Remix OS doesnt work on some tablets...even though its x86, and already running Windows 8.1, and Windows 10 already?
I have a Fujitsu Q335 which I want to dual boot, and replace my current Android Tablet with Remix OS.
I just get the following error...
/efi/RemixOS/i386-efi/gfxmenu.mod not found
I tested the install on two different laptops, and was pretty straight forward, but this tablet just wont load the Boot Menu I normally see for Dual Boot systems with Windows 8.1/10.
Any suggestions or solutions would be greatly appreciated.

Hi! I have a phone Alcatel 1X 5059D. My phone came pre-installed with Android 8.1 (Oreo), then after some time i learned that i can flash images, so i tried and successfully flashed Android 10Q Treble, but then i wanted to try Android 11, i flashed everything correctly but then when i wrote the command: -fastboot reboot it didn't boot, i tried every combination possible, but nothing happened. I tried using SP Flash Tool, but i get different errors, tried removing battery but nothing... I also tried using the Alcatel Software Upgrade "Mobile Upgrade S Gotu2 v5.4.3" but before it can fully scan it it disconnects. I have MTK Drivers installed but the problem is when i try connecting my phone with USB Cable, it connects, disconnects and does that non-stop... I also used multiple different USB cables becouse i have did some research and it said that it is due to USB Cable but i'm not sure... Hopefully someone can help becouse i don't have a back-up phone... If more info is required tell me..
