https://exmail.qq.com/cgi-bin/ftnEx...c2382996ad396&from=wedrive&t=exs_ftn_download
instructions
The projector is powered off, unplugged, then download the firmware on the computer, decompress and move the 5 files to the root directory of the U disk in the format FAT32, then plug it into the machine, and then connect the power supply, and the machine will automatically update
Note: You need to strictly follow the upgrade method to upgrade. The firmware type, firmware format, firmware content, or upgrade method cannot be changed. The five files need to be placed in the root directory of the U disk (the root directory is opened on this computer after the U disk is connected, and the root directory is after clicking the U disk to open). The format of the U disk must be FAT32 format (U disk connected to the computer, open this computer, find the icon of the U disk. Right-click and select Properties to view them). To upgrade, you need to power off the projector first, connect the U disk and then connect the power supply to operate

Hello, I have this projector for repair. The problem was that it turned on for 10 seconds and then turned off. I downloaded the firmware from the official website and installed it according to the instructions, but now it doesn't turn off, although there is no image. I want to try installing the firmware that the tech support sent me, but the file storage period has expired. If you have the file, can you please re-upload it to Google Drive or wherever is convenient

My ATT TILT 2 is a broken mess as far as the earpiece and microphone go, so I setup a return to AT&T.
I need to flash the stock ROM. I have it.
I just can't get my phone to connect to damn activesync!!! I have Windows MObile Device Center 6.1 Windows 7 64 bit.
I have uninstalled, reinstalled, everything. Going nuts!
I plug in my phone, select ACTIVE SYNC, then my phone connects and installs the driver "REMOTE NDIS INTERNET SHARING BLAH BLAH" anyway!!!
I uninstalled/removed/disabled this driver, but it keeps coming up no matter what i pick!!?! ANYONE WITH ANY HELP I WILL BE SOOOOOO HAPPY!!!!!
I was supposed to mail this phone back yesterday but I can't even flash the ROM AHHHHHHHHH
You were supposed to mail it back on a Sunday?
You don't need Windows mobile device center to flash.
1. Go into the bootloader.
2. Plugin your usb (you should see usb at the bottom of the phone)
3. Flash true your pc (customruu.exe)
This is way easier then using active sync of WMDC

No, you don't get it. It loads the internet sharing driver no matter what - it will not load the activesync driver.
I know I don't need the software to load a ROM, but the customruu.exe just displays connection errors because it's ALWAYS installed as the RDIM INTERNET SHARING DEVICE
Have you tried flashing via the storage card?
from the FAQ:
Flashing Via MicroSD Card
1. Make sure your microSD is Formatted to fat32 (you dont have to delete all files but it is safer if you do)
2. Download your prefered Rom from the Rhodium Rom Develpoment Page and unzip/unrar it to your PC
3. Goto the Roms Folder and rename the .nbh file to RHODIMG.nbh
4. Copy the RHODIMG.nbh file to the root of your MicroSD Card
5. Plug the MicroSD Card into the phone
6. Enter the BootLoader screen, you will first see a tri-color screen with the phone and SPL Information at the top
7. Follow the On Screen instructions to start the update
8. After flash has completed, press the reset button with the stylus to reset the device.

Is your signature wrong, or did you really flash a LEO ROM on a Rhodium device? Or are you on the wrong forum?

And a TP2 on AT$T?
Unreal. can't do anything. Tried multiple computers, SD Card won't work, this is pathetic.
F this phone
It always always always becomes a modem...on every single computer...>even when i clearly select "activesync" ---- fml!
Finally got it working.
Put Sim Card back in, accepted the network connection instead, connected via Media Net. Then I disconnected, unplugged USB, replugged, then did activesync and it worked.
No idea why. None. It worked. Yay. What a hassle!
If you have a device which is not recognizable by the PC:
You need a 32-bit Windows (I used WinXP VMware player image from my Win7 64-bit)
In my case connecting the device to the PC did not resulted in access to the memory, only the drive letters appeared, but could not be mounted.
At the same time, the RKandroid tool did not recognize the device at all.
So, we need to reflash the archos 7ht. For this we need to enter update mode - and here is the trick:
1. Shutdown the tablet (in my case - pin reset shutdowns it)
2. LOCK the sliding button (for me this was the tricky part to find out)
3. Connect the USB cable and the powercable.
4. The winXP should detect a new USB device. Make him happy - give him the rk28usb-new drivers to install.
5. Now the RKAndroidTool.exe should be able to detect the RKandroid USB device.
Ok, if you've got this far, now we need to re-flash it. For safety, let's do this with the default Archos 7HT update image (which can be downloaded from the Archos website)
I think that the RKAndroidTool.exe needs extracted files from update.img. For this, extract them using AFPTool.exe:
AFPTool.exe -unpack update.img .
(or use the extractupdate.bat)
Now, we can finish the reflashing:
6. Start RKAndroidTool.exe.
7. If the extracted files from update.img are placed in rockdev folder and in image subfolder, the RKAndroidTool.exe should find them automatically.
8. Execute. Make sure the device is plugged to AC, because the process takes some time. IF THE PROCESS STOPS UNEXPECTEDLY YOU GET A HIGH-TECH BRICK (or so everyone says, I didn't test it).
9. You should see the device responding and starting the update process. It will take some time, dont ruch it.
~20 seconds – copy firmware to device,
~30 seconds – device firmware installation,
~3-8 minutes - First boot
10. The Archos Tablet should ask you to recalibrate the screen, and load the OS.
That's it. Good luck!

Hi,
Where should the rockdev directory be located? I can't get RKAndroidtool.exe to find the unpacked image files.
Thanks
I do not have Lock Sliding Bottom.
I have Archos Home Tablet 7 model: A101B2
Any ideas how to unbrick this device?
This is tablet of my mother in law. :-(
GAMEPAD
1. Download the update file « update.img » to your PC.
2. Connect the USB cable to your Archos and your computer.
3. Copy the « update.img » to the root of the Internal Storage. Do not place it into any folder of the Archos, just to the root level of the device.
4. Unplug your device of the PC.
5. The Archos will find the update automatically and display a message box offering to install this new firmware. Before tapping on "Install", you need to connect the charger/adapter DC-IN to your device.

This update seems to have fixed the diagonals issue as well as the button combos. System seems less laggy as well but I need longer to confirm.
gamepad update
I'm unable to update via my PC. It keeps asking me which programming I wish to open/save with. Any recommendations would be most appreciated, as this gamepad sounds as glitchy as everyone elses

You're not meant to run it on your PC. Just copy it to the gamepad.

Yes; however I've tried downloading it direct to the tablet (won't let me move or open the download), I've tried downloading to PC to then attach the tablet for the update (no good). I'm missing something basic in the process e.g. the program I'm downloading the update with etc.

I just downloaded through Chrome on the tablet then used the ARCHOS file manager app that is installed to move it from the downloads folder to the top level folder.
Thanks jonnyapps, it worked. Now all we need is another update to resolve the SD issue!
People, please start posting here so the Archos Gamepad but also the Elements line to have a separate forum

I know there is a guide already here a long time ago, but Its step is kind of complicated. So, I figure it out another way, no need to set up a HTTP server to trick LG's update software.
I have tested it on V20f, everything works perfect. But remember, whatever you do, you do at your own risk and responsibility for your actions rests solely on you.
Unbricking part:
1. Install LG's cell phone driver, of cause.
2. Install B2CAppSetup.exe from kdz-flash.rar (download)
3. Open test-version-upTest_EX folder, Run Windows Enabler.exe as Administrator‘s authorization and turn it on by single click the icon of windows's tray.
4. Switch the phone to Download mode:
Turn off the phone, if you have not turned off.
Disconnect the USB cable from the phone if connected.
Hold down Volume Up and connect the USB cable to the phone.
Hold Volume Up until the screen: Download mode.
5. Open the folder test-version-upTest_EX and run the program UpTestEX_original.exe
6. Click on the folder icon in the row "Select kdz file" and select the file V20F_00.kdz
7. Click on "CSE web upgrade test".
8. In the window that appears, click on "Upgrade Start".
9. In the next window that appears, you will be prompted to select country and language, which will use the program.
10. The program will begin to flash update file V20F_00.kdz on your phone.
Rooting your P93x:
1.Copy LG_SystemBackupTest.apk from ROOT.rar to your phone's sdcard and intall it, run it.(download)
2.Enable USB debug mode, and connect your phone with computer by usb cable, then run root_P930.bat in your computer, then, let your PC do the rest. then you can get a rooted V20f firmware. alse, this method can root V20e, And maybe other's version firmware can be rooted by it too.
