I have just bought galaxy active 2 LTE and i want some help with the way the LTE work .
When i bought the watch , in my mind the connection was very simple , I was thinking that with the connection of watch with my phone (S20 PLUS) the normal physical sim i have , transfer the data to my watch and i can use the LTE to my watch . Unfortunatelly from what i read now , the thinks are not so simple .
For sure i have to enable the esim from my mobile carrier , but can i have the same number to my phone and watch or do i have to make new plan ,with new number for my watch?
Yes, you can have the same number on your phone and watch through a numbershare plan.

So i just need to make my regular sim to esim ?
Also , i bought my watch from amazon.de is there any case not to work with Greek Carriers?
You have to go to your career and ask for an esim for your watch if it's supported. If supported they'll have a monthly plan for it.
I'm not completely sure if it'll work with Greek careers but I've seen reports of LTE working even when it's associated with a different region.

AW2 works with any e-sim, there's no necessary to have mobile plan with the same number with your phone.

I am in Canada
Have a add-on Tablet LTE SIM Card from Rogers
Need to use it on a Galaxy Watch instead
Anyone made it work like that with eSIM?
I'm wondering the same
I have a galaxy active watch 2 LTE version in India. If I change the the region to get Samsung pay, will calls through LTE work afterwards
My current carrier (Consumer Cellular) doesn't support smart watches. If I get the Pixel watch ( I have a Pixel 7 phone) could I use a different carrier just for the smart watch? It seems the smart watch service is a $10 add-on for many....but would I have to have a regular account ? And would the communication still work between a Consumer Cellular phone and a different carrier for the smart watch?
Hello
So I am getting different info from reading around but can someone who tried this let me know if its possible to install a ESIM from different network then your real SIM on P7 phone and then pair that ESIM onto Pixel Watch to use but keep using normal SIM on phone?
So does the eSIM configured on watch need to be the active and default SIM on the phone or can phone and watch use different networks as long as the ESIM is installed on phone and watch?
