OFox from a year ago was for MIUI 13/Android 12, not for the brand new MIUI 14/Android 13
You might try booting to OFox by
flash boot <recovery.img>
to check does it work or not
But not permanently flashing by
fastboot flash ..
Now you flashed and apparently bricked your phone
If you could reboot to the Fastboot mode (by Pow & Vol-) and if your Bootloader is still unlocked, you could try flashing the Fastboot type ROM.
Otherwise your only options are service shop, authorized EDL support or DIY firehose method

AFAIK MiFlash won't help you if you are bricked, you have to take it to a repair shop.

If u have unlocked bootloader flash this rom via fastboot
https://sourceforge.net/projects/xiaomi-eu-multilang-miui-roms/files/xiaomi.eu/MIUI-STABLE-RELEASES/MIUIv13/xiaomi.eu_multi_MI11LE_XM11Lite5GNE_V13.0.2.0.SKOCNXM_v13-12-fastboot.zip/download
Flash with format data and your phone work.
Orangefox doesnt work with miui 14

I see u cannot turn on fastboot so i think u flash stock rom and lock bootloader. After that u brick phone and u must go to service
U brick becouse flash stock rom with others variant and lock bootloader

No, it did not work. The update stuck at 98% and then it failed to update.
I'd to flash the recovery (I used TWRP) and then I copied the stock ROM in an USB Storage.
Then flashed the STOCK ROM using USB OTG option in TWRP :good:
@thedevilashish you may update the OP with this information
May be u should flash the fastboot rom...If this process doesn't work
Bro you should add one more step in your instruction.
Wipe & factory reset after flashing stock recovery and then install stock ROM.
So this will install MIUI's stock recovery and delete TWRP right?
Stock Recovery Zip is unavailable
but I found this on the internet.

I had the twrp backup of stock miui rom which is rooted with supersu so i successfully restored it.Now i got a ota update so can i flash stock recovery and accept the ota update and also let me know if it will remove root or not??

Thanks, I solve it.
My miskate is restoring data that used ver. 8.10.25 before startup setting.
I found that if restoring ver. 8.10.25 data after flash ver. 8.11.1, some bugs will happen.

my xiaomi mi 5s phone
No sensor works Gps/compass/light/proximity and ...
Before I have this problems, I used twrp recovery and custom ROM , then I wipe every thing and format storage in twrp and install a miui custom rom .
then i saw this problems, but when i flash pixel custom rom everything is work,
# now , I did flash last official global ROM successfully ( in EDL mode and miflash) but yet I have this problems!
and noW i don't have twrp recovery and my bootloder is locked.
when i want sign in to mi account for unlock bootloader ... i see this error: "couldn't check device secuirty info"
i can sign in to mi account into browser , but i cant sign in to account in setting

when bootup my phone , I see this message: FIND DEVICE STORAGE IS CORRUPTED
no sensor work!
PLEASE HELP ME.
THANKS
Looking at the changelog, I won't flash this rom to my phone. If I were you, I'd download a MIUI 10 version from Xiaomi eu, a fastboot version. And will flash it using MiFlash, formatting storage (drop down menu, bottom right). Don't try MIUI 11 if you plan to go back to MIUI 10. I didn't play much with that, but tried a few times - downgrade fails with boot loop.
It's finaly fixed!
1. Phone into EDL mode with testpoint
2. Flash last official miui 9 global with miflash
3. Update to miui 10.1 with ota
4. Sing in to mi account and once time find device in brower
5. Unlock bootloader with mi unlock tools.
6. Install twrp with fastboot
7. After First time install twrp, dont turn off device / in Cmd type: fastboot boot twrp.img ( else stok recovery will be restored ! )
8. In twrp a clean install miui 11.0.2 eu
9. And finally everything is ok!
Thanks to me for a few time test and try and xda forum!
??
I have same issue with my Mi5S and I'm going to get a kit to open the phone. In the same time since phone will be opened I'll change the battery with a new one
1. You need to have a TWRP
2. Using the same rom/fastboot rom, search for the persist.img
3. Copy persist.img to root of the device
4. Boot into recovery (TWRP)
5. On Advanced Terminal type this
simg2img /sdcard/persist.img /sdcard/persist_EXT4.img
then type this
dd if=/sdcard/persist_EXT4.img of=/dev/block/bootdevice/by-name/persist
Reboot

Updating OTA after TWRP install

Hi all, i have unlocked the bootloader of my Note 8T and installed the latest TWRP, i was going to install xiaomi.eu ROM, but sadly things has gone "bad", when i try to format, it fails, giving me a lot of red errors lines, ending with Operation not permitted, so i stopped there and flashed back the stock MIUI ROM through Xiaomi Flash Tool. Now since the issues with TWRP, I'm wondering how can i update when i will receive new updates via OTA? I think i wouldn't be able to do that with TWRP since the errors it gives me just formating. You guys think i would be able to update by downloading the fastboot update and flash it through Mi Flash Tool?
MichaelMay said:
You'll recieve new OTA updates, the recovery (TWRP before, stock now) has been replaced completely and TWRP is no longer your recovery.
I know what the initial problem is as well, you need another TWRP and if you had just read the forums you'd already know that and all of this could have been avoided.

I'm sorry, but i've used the latest TWRP for Ginkgo/Willow as xiaomi.eu requires. Also i've read of other users trying others recovery and encountering the same issue anyway.
You try this way https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...ion-errors-all-the-time.4203951/post-84523785

Me too but still OTA the latest version of miui eu 24-2-2021

I did and ran out of red error line by this flash Miui HellasTWRP recovery -> HellasTWRP will ask for password (lock screen password), data will be decoded and now you can install custom rom according to Conventional way (4 wipe).
Note that updates only via twrp are not available via OTA

So MIUI HellasTWRP Recovery is the cure for the issue? That's Nice! I'm going to try again then. A little question, did you flash the HellasTWRP through fastboot adb mode? Thanks for letting me know!
Yes, flash by adb mode

Fastboot roms can be flashed from the Mi flash apps
Recovery roms are flashed from device settings page, but if it's a beta rom you will need a mi account that is in the china beta program
There's a magisk module that will allow you to skip that account check, you need to be rooted
Can you give me a link to download the magisk module? I will install the stock chinarom and upgrade from there. Thanks
