Kernel Source- https://github.com/ArrowOS-MiPa-Edition/android_kernel_xiaomi_alioth
ROM OS Version: Android 13
ROM Kernel: Linux 4.x
ROM Firmware Required: MIUI S
Based On: AOSP
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE:
__________________________________________________
First installation (Clean flash):
You need PC with adb/fastboot tools.
Download boot, vendor_boot and rom zip:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/mi...arrow-13.0/alioth/Additions/boot.img/download
https://sourceforge.net/projects/mi...3.0/alioth/Additions/vendor_boot.img/download
https://sourceforge.net/projects/mipa-project/files/arrow-fork/arrow-13.0/alioth/
Reboot in fastboot. Flash arrowos recovery (boot.img and vendor_boot.img):
fastboot flash boot_ab boot.img
fastboot flash vendor_boot_ab vendor_boot.img
Reboot in ArrowOS Recovery:
fastboot reboot recovery
Make format data (Factory reset -> Format data).
Flash ROM (Apply update -> Apply from ADB):
adb sideload name.zip
Follow what show on device, should be ... Step 1/2 -> 2/2, then flashing ended, can reboot device in system. (In cmdline: If the process succeeds the output will stop at 47% and report `adb: failed to read command: Success`. In some cases it will report `adb: failed to read command: No error` which is also fine!")
If you want install separate gapps on vanilla buildtype, after flash ROM:
Advanced -> Reboot to recovery
Flash gapps (Apply update -> Apply from ADB):
adb sideload name.zip
__________________________________________________
Install updates via Updater:
Go in Settings -> System -> Updater
Downlad new build -> Install -> Reboot
Device will automatically download, install a new build and reboot.
Installation can take up to 1 hour, on 50% will stuck, it normal, just waiting (Why? - Don't forget, you now have a/b devices, a new update is installed in the background in an inactive slot, without recovery. That's why it's taking so long. Don't like? Flash manually via recovery.)
___________________________________________________
Install updates via recovery (dirty flash):
You need PC with adb/fastboot tools.
1) Download new build and reboot into Recovery
2) Flash ROM (Apply update -> Apply from ADB):
adb sideload name.zip
3) Reboot into System
__________________________________________________
How update only fw part MIUI:
You need PC with adb/fastboot tools.
Download fw part MIUI, which you need from: https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/archive/firmware/alioth/
1) Reboot into Recovery
2) Flash fw part MIUI (Apply update -> Apply from ADB):
adb sideload name.zip
Look on device:
WIll show "Signature verification error" -> Tap "Install anyway" -> Waiting installation end.
3) Reboot into System, if you installed it after new ROM build, or Reboot into Recovery, if you want flash new ROM build.
__________________________________________________
Also you can use TWRP/OFR/ETC for install or update this ROM. Instructions you can find in twrp topics or telegram groups.

I love you Palaych best ROM ever. Very stable, battery-efficient, smooth ROM.
Yes guys, it's unofficial and a personal fork, however this doesn't mean anything - the ROM is great and gets nice updates! If any of you need support, TG group is "mipa_lab". Sometimes I help out there.
Thanks for the new build, although for some reason the download was super slow i managed to get the GAPPs file and hash matches. I'm on the November GAPPs build - A12.1 and wanted to know if I can dirty flash/sideload the new build. Also do I need to flash the new boot and vendor boot files?
Thank you for your hard work.

Yes you can update to it.
You don't have to flash the boot and vendorboot from my experience... I just flashed the ZIP..

For big ROMs afaik ADB splits the ROM. You should see details on the phone screen too. What do you see on the phone? Also, make sure you use a good type c cable and the phone shows up correctly in the device manager. Good luck!

Your Terminal-output indicates that the flash succeeded.
You need to format data afterwards, when coming from a different ROM. Otherwise the bootloader can't boot to the ArrowOS boot-slot, and it'll auto-switch to the other boot-slot (with MIUI on it).
This may have been what happened.

If device bootloop then you need to install stock rom by using ost tool in download mode but all data will get erased. It'll restore android pie / 10 stock
Google it...DRG-351F-0-00WW-B04 (pie), DRG-415C-0-00WW-B01(10) and Nokia_OST_LA_6.2.8
Extract zip then choose that folder in ost, select .mlf in that folder...mode (normal, erase erase data, erase user data, check ap status)
I am having some problem with the installation of this rom. After downloading the initial build zip file of this rom. I booted into twrp recovery and format data and reboot to recovery. I now wipe data, system, dalvik, vendor and internal storage and install the rom, vendor and twrp by flashing it using twrp and then change slot. The whole process is successful but the rom refuses to boot into system but keeps booting back into twrp recovery mode when I try to boot into system. Please help in resolving this... Thanks...

I have tried re-downloading directly to phone internal storage and flash from there but it still fail. ADB sideloading also fail but it's not the usb cable fault because I can load other roms just fine. Please help and thanks in advance.

Good Day,
Would this ROM have xt_hl support in the kernel, or is that standard in LineageOS? I need to set the TTL value for hotspot tethering like this:
iptables -t mangle -A POSTROUTING -j TTL --ttl-set 64
...but it's not enabled in the stock ROM/build. If not, can you throw me a bone on how I would do this? Or does this mean its included? https://github.com/dotOS-Devices/kernel_google_bluecross/search?q=xt_HL
Thanks!!!

Step 1/2
Error applying update: 51 ErrorCode::kPayloadTimestampError

Sorry, I shouldve added that. This is the line where it failed with the build:
adb sideload dotOS-R-v5.1.1-sargo-OFFICIAL-20210616-0344.zip
This is the recovery I used:
fastboot flash boot boot-sargo-signed-16-06-21.img
Yes, I did the factory reset/wipe first per the instructions. I didn't realize "Vanilla" & "Gapps" were both ROMs - typically I see that there is the base ROM, with an additional zip being Gapps if one chooses to flash. Could me if I'm wrong, but it sounds like Vanilla is broke and we should only be flashing Gapps, which contains everything including the ROM+Gapps. Thanks!

Yeah, Vanilla is currently the one not flashing that is not any issue or problem, but the boot.img provided here is for gapps build only, the vanilla one was build before that so there is timestamp error in recovery, next builds won't have any issue. though I personally always recommend gapps version specifically if you use that. thank you for reporting. Hope you like it.

Pixel3A has "fake" rounded corners, which are also an overlay on the stock os, on this rom those are not present, making the experience ugly. I really like this rom and I can't wait to see what you are gonna post in the future!

I'm glad it worked for you, thanks for sharing.
How come, according to the information here, the rom seems to have no bugs, although after OctaviOS was uploaded to mediafire (see timestamp in the image) you write on another thread that there are still a few bugs to be fixed?

Hmm, strange... worked perfectly fine for me.
I'll try port some other rom, but trust me not an easy job, most of them require a lot of workaround to fix the bugs.
I'm currently working on OctaviOS which is based on Android 11 but there are still some bugs.

Look at the time i wrote that and look at the time i uploaded the ROM.
@LesterDMolester
How do you recommend to flash magisk? Before the first boot?
and in which way or which magisk file?
I tried it myself several times and always got stuck in a bootloop after flashing Magisk. Before flashing magisk the os worked flawless.

You can't flash the original Magisk on this ROM, you need a specific forked magisk version for treble which you can find HERE thanks to @DarkJoker360 .
Thanks for the quick reply.
Maybe you could add this to the instruction so others don't to the mistake i did.
As the device is already rooted with preinstalled superuser what are the advantages of flashing magisk as well?
And if you flash it anyway, won't superuser and magisk conflict with each other, since the device will be rooted twice?

Hello, you will think ADB works agian? I need it in the future. Will happy if it works. Darkjoker has a Problems with adb, but in the newer Versions of Android Base Roms11 ADB works.

Hey! Thx for the great work!
Everything good here, no problems on install.
For those with problems, I'll give you my feedback.
I was on evox UNOFFICIAL, so, I follow the instructions given by the OFFICIAL dev.
These instructions could help also those coming from other ROMS, except hentaiOS and Proton.
Download TWRP vasi version and ROM. Be sure to transfer the ROM to your device.
1)Install TWRP, the vasi version.
Just download the .img in your PC, and enter in fastboot mode on your alioth.
Be sure that your device is recognized with the command
Code:
fastboot devices
If it's on the list, you can do the next command
Code:
fastboot boot TWRP_FILE_NAME.img
Very important that the TWRP downloaded file is in the same directory as the platform tools.
Once you executed the command, your alioth should auto boot into TWRP.
First step completed!!
2)Once you are in TWRP, by default my slot is A, you can check it on the REBOOT tab.
So, go to INSTALL, and find the ROM zip previously transfered to the device.
There are 4 checkbox, 2 already checked. If the INJECT TWRP is already checked, you are fine.
Now flash the ROM. Ignore the error messages. And when it finishes, reboot to TWRP, not system.
Second step completed!
3) Once you are in TWRP again, go to WIPE, and select FORMAT DATA.
Type "yes" and continue.
If there are error messages, IGNORE IT and REBOOT TO SYSTEM.
These are the steps I follow. I don't use Magisk, so I can't give you help on that.
It takes me less than a minute to boot into the system, so, I hope it helps anyone coming from EVOX UNOFFICIAL.
So, as I said in another thread, I'm coming from the UNOFFICIAL version, which was good in general terms, but AOD and pocket detection were battery killer, and I like those features. So I'll try this features in this version for some days until the battery adapts to my rutine, and then I'll give my feedback on it. Also, if you don't use 5g, remember to disable, it's a battery killer too xD

20220807
- UPDATE: OTA: not working 20220807->20220810: Could not change profiles (https://paste.crdroid.net/J4u9b6). Is it a problem with permissions or problems caused by Magisk's changes into the system?

I'm trying to fix the root and debug issues
This looks awesome. I'm waiting for the new display to arrive and I'm rocking this phone back. Would this rom enable VoWifi? Or does it need certain hardware for vowifi?
Will come a Version in near future, that has no issues with OTA functionality?
Last 2 updates did not work with OTA. In Telegram Group Deen Brasil was mentioned, that a server is needed to make twpr download possible, before update is installed, cause there is no recovery patition.
Is there not way to add a recovery pation?
Hi their I was wondering when flashing this rom are these steps required? Like the pixel ROM for the Deen:
1. Download Rom
2. Download TWRP
3. fastboot getvar all
4. fastboot boot twrp
5. Do full wipe
6. Format Data
7. Flash ROM
8. Reboot to Bootloader
9. fastboot getvar all
10. If fastboot getvar all (current-slot label) from step 3 equals this from step 9 change the slot to opposite, if a then b if b then a, command is fastboot --set-active=SLOT
11. Boot to TWRP again
13. Flash Magisk (optional)
14. Reboot to system
I tried booting into recovery but i got this error
Edit : That was a long time ago.
tldr - im stupid and didnt unlock the bootloader properly.

Maybe you have to run the command in Windows as an administrator. And the command is fastboot boot recovery c:/....img
I followed the steps I mentioned in my post #6 and the ROM works excellent.
How do you update with twrp? It gives me error no matter what slot I choose. CrDroid recovery or OTA doesn't work.

Hi. I'm trying to build a user version of your rom. The build works but I get an error during update (sideload). This happens at the end, after the vendor is flashed and during `Running backuptool scripts`
Code:
Update_engine_sideload [ERROR: postinstall_runner_action.cc] Failed to set backuptool context
I wonder why this could be ? Perhaps I have not reconstructed your manifest correctly?
note: I'm flashing from Recovery using a USB UTG stick and also flashing from TWRP using the same stick..
I have been using the Motorola One with this rom as my main phone for the past day or two, so far ive been enjoying it! Im hoping for more updates in the future.
Good afternoon,
I wanted to share with you my experience trying to install rom 20230414 for the Moto one tx 1941-3.
Although I was able to install and use the previous version without problems, it was impossible for me with this latest version since it stuck to the android logo. It doesn't flash or reset, it just stays there.
I find this system incredible so I would love to use the update
Thank you
