I was stuck in a bootloop so I wiped the phone data with twrp.
I can now boot into the normal FP4 system and everything seems to be working fine apart from the phone now not outputting any sound at all, neither through speakers nor headphones.
Does anyone have any idea how to fix this or how to completely restore the fairphone os to get the sound to work again?
Thank's in advance.

Was running stock ROM rooted and everything was fine until I restarted the phone today. Started to boot loop and hasn't stopped. I've tried restoring backups, installing a ROM fresh and nothing works, just endless boot loops.
What else can I do?
Edit: Did the second option in the link below and it worked like a charm:

Have you tried to go into recovery and did a "Factory Reset" yet?
That usually works.
Good luck!

Sounds like she's bricked unfortunately. Might have put an incorrect kernal or flashing something that wasn't supposed to. I bought a bestbuy warranty and it just saved me, because I made an incorrect flash. It was hard bricked. Nothing I did would fix it. Improper kernals can fry CPUs, and if you're odining your stock firmware from sammobile and it still is looping, chances are that's what's happened.

My Note 3 suffered a few random boot loops out of the box. Then it ended up in sheer boot loop hell soon after it was rooted. At first, I too thought I had done something wrong until seeing all the posts about unchecking "Always Allow Scanning".
After the phone spent a solid 12 hours rebooting over and over, never getting past the T-Mo splash screen, it finally came back up. I unchecked "Always Allow Scanning" in the WiFi settings, and it's been fine ever since.
It would get quite hot during the boot loops, almost too hot to touch, while draining the battery very quickly. I plugged it in and set it on the fan in the top of my computer tower to keep it from frying itself.

Is your Knox flag already tripped? If so, I have a guide somewhere in here...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2545009
I had same issue. Heimdall fixed it. Try it out, let me know. I have a lot of downloads, but no feedback. I need to know what other sorts of issues it can recover...
Recommendation though is to try the Bootloop recovery first just to get into a good recovery position, then wipe pretty much everything, and perform the stock restore.
When the stock restore hits, it runs its own little recovery script automatically fixing bootloop issues. You can root and do whatever else you want after that... Good luck.
try this it work for me

This worked! tried the second option since it was easiest and it saved my phone! Thank you so much!
Hello, I recently went to upgrade Cyanogenmod 12 to Marshmallow, everything went fine, but when I went to reboot the system I got stuck in a boot loop. Following this I wiped my system, data, and stupidly my internal storage so I lost my nandroid backup. Installed earlier firmware (Android 4.4.4), everything worked but my system didnt recognize the SIM card. Opened LG Flash tool and went back to bone stock LG, rebooted and get stuck in intermittent boot loops in varying places along the setup process and once I get to the homescreen with many versions of the Verizon LG software varying from 5.0 to 6.0. I suspect my system permissions are all f***ed but I dont know for sure as I can't get the phone far enough to enable USB debugging. Enabling it in the stock system recovery screen doesnt seem to work. I've gone through many of the threads here regarding boot loops for the G3, but havent seen any with the stock hardware.......Any thoughts on where to go from here?
Bump. Please, any help would be appreciated
I just bought a used pixel xl. When I call, the phone will suddenly get stuck and restart. Do you have a similar situation? It is a hardware problem or a system problem. I am now the latest official system.

I would backup anything you have on the phone and do a factory reset from the settings menu. If you still have the problem after that, it could be a hardware problem (though I would probably reflash the system image from google if it still happened after a factory reset).
A couple of days ago my phone started crashing randomly, so I decided to deactivate all my Magisk packages which seemed to fix the issue, but the next day it crashed again and it wouldn't go past the boot screen anymore. It crashes the moment the three little white boot up dots appear on the screen, so I decided to clear all the data through TWRP and flash a stock rom all over again. All seemed fine until I tried to install TWRP and root the rom. My phone is now stuck constantly crashing on the boot up screen no matter what I do. Does anyone have any advice? Thanks.

Try FORMAT data option under twrp and go to advance and repair all the partition. Restart recovery then flash custom rom. Xiaomi eu. Let see if it got stuck again or not..

I've tried that and it doesn't seem to do anything. I've formatted all data and even repaired the partitions. Nothing seems to work.

What is with flashing xiaomi eu specifically? Shouldn't any custom rom work?

Nothing serious actually but to troubleshoot and to see if 'stock rom' causes that problem rather than 'custom rom'.. but its okay if you want to use custom rom.
Hi everyone
After some research, I can't find a succeful way to install TWRP recovery instead of Lineage stock recovery.
It's really embarasing because I'm currently setting up my brand new XZ2c compact to run the way I want it to on Lineage OS 17.1 with Magisk and Xposed modules, and I experienced 3 or 4 endless bootloop that led me to fully format my phone after bunch of hours setting it and tailoring it up... Huge waste of time, frustration overload, as you could expect. So, I really miss tremendous TWRP backup fonctionnality I used to run frequently on my old Z5c... :crying:
Does anyone here as figured out how to replace Lineage stock recovery on this device? Is so, I'd really to hear him out
Have a good week-end!

Have you seen this- https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/recovery-android-10-stock-sodp-xz2-c-p-3-twrp-unofficial.4074403/ ? I haven't tried it on Lineage, but might work...
Hi levone1 & thanks for answering,
I've tried this one, but I get adb\fastboot.exe: unknown option -- disable-verity
Hi guys!
Today I tried again to install TWRP on my Sonyh Xperia XZ2C because LineageOS Recovery doesn't provide Nandroid backup, which is a shame.
I tried many ways described over the web, none of those worked, and I ended up with a boot loop at startup with that naughty message "your device is corrupted it cannot be trusted and will not boot". I can't boot to Lineage, neither to recovery. I'm stuck.
With device turned off, I can eventually press volume down, plug it to computer, access fastboot mode (blue led), flash+boot the LineageOSrecovery.img, then the device restart, Sony logo appears... and that's all, I'm stuck with logo in boot loop, and I can't go anywhere further.
I tried to change boot slot (without knowing if it could help with this problem at all) but I alway get "unknown option".
I'm panicking right now, I can't find any way out to this bootloop, if someone could help it will be sooo appreciated!
I tried hard to find a solution for 4 hours now, I'm completly stuck and I can't even sleep. That's why I finally reached out here.
Did you ever find a solution @tomboudiboudi ?
