My Xiaomi Redmi 7 is stuck. When I try to charge my phone, it shows the "Xiaomi Redmi" logo for a few seconds, then it goes black and I can't restart it.
When I try to get into fastboot mode (unplugging then plugging it back while holding volume down and power button), it shows the fastboot logo for a few seconds too and it goes off too.
I tried several chargers and cables, it does the same except with one cable et one charger together. When I plug the phone, it does the same but it get stucks in a bootloop, it restarts every like 5-10 seconds. So I tried to get into fastboot mode as well, but it's impossible, it restarts every time.
It's been an year I didn't use this phone because I was using it and suddenly the phone got off, and I couldn't reboot it. I'm using a custom ROM, but I used it for few months and I was not having any problems.

My Nexus 5X had a bootloop issue in the past. I fixed it with a 4-core recovery and boot image patch, but now it seems to be back. Whenever I boot up the phone, it always freezes after about 15 seconds, with no variation in time. This happens when booting normally (freezes at Google logo), booting into recovery (also freezes at Google logo), fastboot mode (freezes after about 15 seconds), and download mode (powers off after about 10 seconds). In all but the last situation, the phone completely freezes up and can only be rebooted by holding down the power button. The only other mode that does work is 9008 mode, which I can enter by disconnecting and reconnecting the battery and plugging my phone into my computer. Is there anything I can do to get this phone working again or get my files off it?
Hello everybody,
I have a problem with my Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite (with bootloader unlocked but stock ROM) : I changed the screen and digitizer, the phone being okay after a repair and working for a few days. Then it stopped turning on when I press power button (the screen does not turn on). When I plug charger I have the white LED flashing but nothing (even after hours of charging with different chargers and USB cables). I can not go to fastboot by pressing power button down.
I disconnected the battery, the phone starts when plugged into charger but bootloops (with "Your device software can not be checked" and the fixed "android one unlocked" screen). When I replug battery in the bootloop stops and we get back to the black screen/flashing LED state.
I can go to fastboot mode when pressing volume down with battery disconnected, I tried flash_all from the official daisy_images package with no success. I also tried to fastboot boot to TWRP but I get a black screen (with bootloop if battery is unplugged).
I also tried QDL flashing of the official ROM using the guide on the forum, no success either.
I tried swapping the battery for a new one, still doesn't work.
When I dump fastboot vars I have amongst other "battery-soc-ok: no" (with and without battery plugged) and a reported battery voltage of 1000 with battery, 0 without.
I measured (with a voltmeter) the voltage between + and - pins of the battery I have 4.13V.
Would you have any idea of something to try ?
Thank you for your help,
any updates on this?, my unit is stock no reimage or what not but while charging one time it wouldnt turn on white LED flashing also but no display, so i let be , then after awhile i discovered it wont boot up, after several times trying ,i got to boot but went to be stuck on "android one unlocked" screen, i tried draining the battery same results , wtf is wrong with this phone now it works perfectly for the past 3-4 years
I swapped the motherboard and it worked again.
damn, where did you purchase your motherboard? and did it erase the files inside?
Hi everybody, yesterday I was playing with my old Galaxy A50 trying to install a custom rom unsuccessfully.
I repeated the procedure three times installing TWRP and then Havoc OS but every time I tried to reboot from TWRP to OS I was stuck at the warning screen saying that the phone bootloader was unlocked and booting into download mode to reflash TWRP was blocked as it showed "only official binaries can be installed" (yes I installed Samsung disabler but still).
Still I was able to get the phone into download mode and reinstall the stock firmware as it seemed to be the only way to install and boot TWRP.
But at 4th time repeating the process I got frustrated, shut down the computer and left the phone on the warning screen still connected to computer usb cable.
Then I got back and noticed the phone was off as the battery died.
Indeed the battery died, so I put the phone in charging and after it reached 100% I tried to boot into download mode again to reflash stock firmware.
But here's the strange thing, I cannot boot into download mode anymore as pressing vol up+vol down while connecting usb cable, shows the lightning charge logo for 5 secs and then reboots infinitely with the same pattern.
If I force reboot by pressing vol down+power it shows the Samsung logo with the warning below it, then skips to another screen with another warning suggesting to press power button to continue (which does nothing) and after a while reboots to samsung logo.
So it doesn't seem it is bricked, it looks more like a battery controller fault, so I tried to detach the battery flex from the board, hoping it would reset the controller but it's still the same.
Also I tried with the flex detached and still no download mode is possible.
Was the download mode somehow erased? (if it's even possible considering it's the motherboard firmware)
If you need photos, videos or even a call on zoom, Skype, webex I would be glad to show you
same i got the same problem i can't find nothing for this when i press volume up and down and put the otg cable its simply charges but it gets stuck on the logo image there's no way to fix this but the only way is to open the phone, change the emmc and put one from samsung, close the phone flash a custom rom and you are done.
If you can enter recovery, do it. As soon as your phone gets into it, select the power off variant and then try to enter the download mode.
It seems like you did not unlock the bootloader, did you?
The bootloader Is unlocked i can't enter in the recovery because the phone locks on charging logo and its fully charged but when i try without charger It doesn't start.
I have TWRP and LineageOS with Magisk installed on my A50. Normally, when my phone boots, I get the following sequence:
1. Phone vibrates.
2. Samsung Logo appears for a very short time, with bootloader unlocked warning at the bottom.
3. A screen showing a bootloader unlock warning at the top and "PRESS POWER KEY TO CONTINUE" appears.
4. After a while or if you press the power key, an additional unofficial software warning appears in red letters at the bottom.
5. After some time the phone continues to boot normally.
My problem is that after the latest reboot ("reboot into recovery" via power menu), it gets stuck at step 4 and won't continue to boot, neither recovery nor system, even if I wait for tens of minutes.
What I've tried:
-reboot with volume +/-/poweroff
-reboot with volume volume -/poweroff
-all of the following with and without USB connected to PC:
-power/volume +/- at boot, both starting after logo screen as well as starting before logo screen, as well as releasing power at logo screen
-power/volume + at boot, both starting after logo screen as well as starting before logo screen, as well as releasing power at logo screen
-power/volume - at boot, both starting after logo screen as well as starting before logo screen, as well as releasing power at logo screen
-volume + at boot, both starting after logo screen as well as starting before logo screen
-volume - at boot, both starting after logo screen as well as starting before logo screen
-volume +/- at boot, both starting after logo screen as well as starting before logo screen
None of these helped. I just get the normal sequence 1-4 and then stuck every damn time. Can't get into recovery or download mode. Can't even power off, obviously.
Is my phone gone for good?

With some help I managed to get into download mode, and from there reflash stock rom with ODIN.
Basically, you need to reboot the phone with power/vol+/vol- and as soon as the screen goes black, you release power but keep pressing the volume buttons, and also immediately connect the USB cable with the PC. Timing is key.

bro, you helped me alot, i'm stucked at this screen maybe 2 hours I didnt know what to do.
Btw, I've it just in 1 time =))
I got a way easier Method which has saved me several times
Is something i came up myself
Il be as precise as i can be so everyone understands!
1.Plug the phone to the wall (Your charger to the outlet)
2. Hold Power And Volume - (Volume down) until the phone shows the second charging animation (Which is the one after the first image of the phone charging [A circle with the lightning icon in the middle], this second screen shows a charging animation and the percentage of the battery) This indicates that the phone is fully Turned Off
3. Unplug your phone and the charger off the wall and bring it to your computer
4. Plug your cable to your Computer then back on your phone Hold Volume + and Volume - (Volume up and Volume Down) and plug your phone to your computer WHILE HOLDING BOTH VOLUME BUTTONS.
This little trick will put your phone in download mode so you can restore your device using Odin OR Flash Twrp with Odin and boot to right into Twrp (There is a way to do it without turning the phone on and having to go back to step 1, Follow this Tutorial to do it
(
)
I Hope this helps you all
And Happy Flashing!
Hello there,
Last Tuesday (January the 17th), my Note 8 Pro rebooted while I was typing on it, and since then, it just bootloops.
I see the "Redmi" logo for 5 secondes, then the screen goes dark, the smartphone vibrates and here we go again.
Even Fastboot mode is not working: I can get access to the mode, but it only last for about 10 seconds, then blackscreen, vibration, Redmi logo.
No matter what I do (even this tutorial to unlock the Booloader by MTKClient), the smartphone keeps rebooting.
I'm desperate, since this device holds too many unsaved memories and my 2FA authentication app...
I even tried to change the battery (I've read that a dead battery, with not enough power, could lead to such behavoir), but no luck...
Another fact: when I have the phone connected on my laptop, all of my USB devices are disconnected for 1-2 seconds at each reboot.
Any help is very welcome

Is it still possible to back up all your data at this point?
Have you tried adb pull your userdata partition?

They can’t boot….adb only works when booting or booted, and if it bootloops, they won’t have time to pull their data.

Bootloader locked or unlocked?
Even if you cannot boot into system, but if
- USB debugging is enabled, and operational;
- a cable works;
- you can boot into recovery.
Adb shall work in recovery.
Hope it helps.

Unfortunately, USB debugging was not enabled. I stopped developing for Android quite a while back now, and I don't turn on USB debugging anymore.
@Arealhooman My bootloader is locked... I tried unlocking it with MTKClient, but no success since the phone reboots during the process.

This helped a lot actually!
It seems that the power button got faulty and got constantly pressed, making the phone constantly hard-rebooting itself.
I have a piece of paper preventing the buttons from contacting the motherboard, and the phone stopped rebooting when charging!
Ingenious method. Glad you solved the issue.
I enabled USB debugging to be able to reboot into fastboot / bootloader without the buttons (since my piece or paper prevents all the button from working xD)

Only custom. Stock doesn’t support it.
Bro first check if your power button is working fine, if it is being pressed by any hardware issue it can happen, and when you fastboot try flashing recovery within that time fastboot remains.
