So my stupidity slapped me hard by installing custom roms. I can boot into the rom but touch screen is not working, can't detect by the pc, no adb fastboot, but device manager shows QUSB_BULK_CIDsomething numbers) Is there any way? I'm literally breaking down
Reboot to bootloader and flash official rom via fastboot. Use version that was installed before custom rom.

ok so i just updated my htc to 4.4.3. before i did that it had TWRP custom recovery flashed to it so i had to flash the stock recovery back to it to make my device able to update. i didnt really find the right stock recovery so i got a recommended one which is: 1.157.112.2(maybe this recovery is the problem why it is not recognised while in fastboot mode.) I rooted my phone before this update so it is still rooted now. So im trying to reflash the TWRP custom recovery to my phone but it doesnt work cus my phone is not listed in the device list. When my phone is in normal mode (normally booted) it gets recognised but when i go into fastboot it does not get recognised anymore. I need a custom recovery to be able to install xposed for rootcloak. cus now my phone is rooted and i cant use bank applications. i installed all kinds of drivers. i installed the drivers via HTC sync manager, i installed them manually, i even installed adb interface drivers. but it still wont work. i have windows 8 and my htc is a tmobile one. can anyone please help me?

I guess I just messed up my phone...
Long story short: Flashed TWRP and accidentally let it root my phone, so it wouldn't boot. Flashed venom rom and it booted ok, but now I don't have wifi, mobile data, IMEI IS GONE, and phone won't be recognized by pc in download mode or normal mode. I want it to relock it so I can flash the stock ROM, but since pc don't recognize it, I can't go further.
Any help will be appreciated.
Hi there,
Proud owner of a new Pixel XL. Unlocked version. Tried rooting last night (i've rooted all devices i've owned and am not new to this). Followed the instructions to a "t". The device won't get past the white screen and dots leapfrogging each other. Now when going back to fastboot, device isn't recognised by ADB Fastboot etc...
Please help!!!!
My guide should be able to help you get back to the OS and then install root.
Keep in mind you may lose data if you don't remove the -w from the script mentioned in the guide.

Did you unlock bootloader?
Then immediately try rooting?
That is one cause for bouncing dots.
You should: flash factory image, then boot into device before any flashing. Setup device until you are at the home screen and OS settled. Use a pattern or pin security. That is needed to make recovery work properly. You need to decrypt at recovery boot. No ask for pin? Then power off and boot TWRP again.
Follow directions in TWRP and SuperSU threads to a Capital "T"...
Versions:
Latest "Q" firmware
Boot TWRP RC1 img, then flash zip installer
Use SuperSU 2.79 SR1.
You'll have no bootloop. I found first rooted boot to take just a few minutes.
Just in case: update SDK platform tools if you haven't cos that screws people up for days too.
Thanks mate. But i get to step 9 and nothing happens. My device is no longer recognised
thanks mate, but the problem is that now the device is simply not recognised by my computer. I can't flash anything
I should clarify.
SDK is 100% up to date.
I am trying on both Windows 10 and Mac.
Device drivers worked fine prior to trying to root.
I'm really worried that i might have just bricked a $1.4k(aud) device
I unlocked my bootloader and got a bootloop when I tried to fastboot to root. Would not recognize the device either. I redownloaded SU 3 as suggested in the third post and it worked. Good Luck.
I used the fastboot to root method and did not install TWRP.

Thanks, Mike01680. trying now
When i go into sideload i can see the device listed on adb devices!
Okay. Booted into recovery, found my firmware for NMF26O. Downloaded and ADB Sideloaded it can once again boot. thanks for all of your help!!!
Hi everybody,
as the title says, i have an LG G4 without OS and without TWRP, is it possible to restore to stock or even only put some OS on it?
The phone goes to download mode, when i plug in the pc, he made a sound but he didn't recognise the phone.
(just to know how i ended up in this situation: unlocked bootloader, flashed twrp, the phone said: trwp successfully intsalled, tried to go to recovery, but didn't enter neither with adb. so brilliant idea: flash recovery and fastboot boot recovery from pc, then flashed rom from there, but didn't work, and that's the result)
Can anyone help me?
Thanks
I have a Xiaomi Note 8 Pro initially came with China Stable Rom V11.0.3.0.PGGCNXM. It was also unlocked.
I accidentally flashed Global Stable ROMV11.0.6.0.PGGMIXM via MiFlashTool and while it was successful, it rebooted to Recovery Mode with the message "This MIUI version can't be installed on this device".
After that, I pressed "Wipe All Data", so now the device is also locked.
Since there is no OS installed, I cannot access the device and consiquently to use Mi Unlock Tool properly to Unlock it again.
The device is now locked, without OS installed. However I can access Fastboot menu and Recovery mode.
Is there anyway to unlock the device in this state and flash it's original Rom again?
Please if you have anything to suggest that might help me, answer my question. I'm desperate. :crying:
Hmmm. Can you still access fastboot mode? If yes I recommend using miflash pro and flashing the correct rom for your device, or manually flashing all images via fastboot.
You've likely selected Clean all and lock (default setting) which flashed MIUI and locked the bootloader afterwards which bricked the device because of cross-region ROM flashing. Since you can't flash it with locked bootloader your only option is to take it to the service center.
@JuanM2020 @n0b0dy666 First of all, thank you guys for your suggestions.
Update: I tried to flash it's original Rom via MiFlash Pro, however when I connected my device on the final step, as for the SP tool to flash the Rom, my pc couldn't detect it. I even risked and disassembled the device to remove the battery in order to turn off the device, but it didn't work either. (Cdc & Vcom Mediatek drivers both installed properly on my pc).
The device is recognized by my computer when in Flashboot menu. However for the SP tool to work, it should be turned off, but recognizable from computer.
Before posting here, of course I went to a service center, but they told me because I tried to install Global Rom 11.0.06, while it's original Rom was China Stable Rom 11.0.03, I should wait for the 11.0.06, as a downgrade is not possible (not sure if it's true). We don't have an official Xiaomi Center in my county, where I go was the best chance I had.
Any other recommendations?

If you can still access fastboot mode flash correct images manually.
E.g.:
Fastboot flash system system.img
Fastboot flash vendor vendor.img
Fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Etc etc

So sorry for my late response. Is there any guide about manual flashing which I can follow for that?
