Bluetooth does not work after sleep. Need Help. - MTCD Android Head Units General

Guys need help, problem with bluetooth module. Bluetooth doesn't work after waking up. I reboot the radio and it works fine. I turn off the ignition, the radio goes to sleep, turn it on, wakes up, bluetooth does not work. I reboot and bluetooth works. Maybe there are considerations that is responsible for starting the bluetooth module after waking up from sleep?

Android 10 Malay mod full , MCU version is MTCE_GS_V3.79

My suggestion is to disable the auto sleep function and let the unit do full boot every time. These head units boot up pretty fast. Quite honestly the short time for full boot beats having to mess with the head unit every time you get in your car.

Wifi Not Enabled after Reboot - 12 Hour Time setting Resets After Reboot

Ok, I installed the new Joying 10.1" VW head unit in my car the other day, and it's working pretty good, however I'm having a couple of issues. I installed Malaysk's ROM onto it and still working through setting everything up the way I want it, but I'm having 2 issues I can't figure out, and they are driving me nuts.
Wifi: Whenever the unit reboots, the WiFi is disabled. I have to manually re-enable it every time.
12-Hour Time: Every time the unit reboots, the time reverts back to 24-hour time.
Anyone know what I can do to fix these issues? Getting rather annoying having to switch them every time the unit boots up.
Thanks

Sounds like the 12+ and ACC connections are swapped.
Thanks for the reply, but the unit is switched on Via Can-Bus. There is no ACC wire. It powers on and off just fine when I start and shut off the car.

Then your 12+ is not constant.
Yep it is, verified with a volt meter, 12volt constant stays hot, even went out and checked after my car had been off for over an hour just to make sure... I shouldn't have said there is no ACC wire, ACC is supplied by the Can-Bus adapter.
As far as the wiring goes, I'm confident all of that is wired correctly. I used to install car stereos as a job for 5 years, and this is the 3rd head unit in this vehicle. I'm an Android enthusiast, and definitely know my way around the system, even though this is my 1st Android head unit I've dealt with.
The 12-Hour time issue was happening before I installed the ROM on it, but the WiFi issue didn't start until after I installed the ROM.
Ok, thats a puzzler then. My observations have been that wi-fi will turn off and 24 hour set every time power is lost on the 12+ line. It seems independent of rom used, would happen on the stock rom and on a older version of Malaysk's I'm currently using.
Well, for whatever reason today the settings never reverted back. I don't remember changing anything, but I did go through every single menu and sub menu in the settings section. Oh well, fingers crossed everything stays set, because this head unit is perfect for me now!
I have the same issue + no bluetooth. I have a YINUO 1024x600 Quad-Core RK3188 and it's doing the WIFI OFF, 24 HR, NO BT.

Eonon GA5150/android wifi problem

Hello,
I'm hoping that some of you have this unit or an android phone and can help me...
The WiFi wont turn on.
It lets me swipe it to on but then it wont connect and it turns it off again, any ideas?
I have tried turning on and off, factory reset and 4.2.2 and 4.4.4.
Thanks,
James
You should check the MTCB dedicated threads under Android Auto. Your unit is a generic MTCB (formerHuiFei) head unit. Eonon are just resellers.
Your issue may come from:
-having the wireless hot spot activated - that disabled WiFi
-using ppp Widget 2 to manage the 3g STICK - also disables WiFi
I have a similar problem, with a Eonon GA2114. In mine, suddenly wifi stopped working, and now I cannot even swipe it to on when I enter setting window.

The best way I know of is to quit your current app before you shutdown. It's a pain and a hassle, I know, but that tends to do the trick sometimes.
Thanks
Yes I know, this works sometimes.
But it is not a real solution
In the head units seems to be something different than in our phones.
Actually the head units never shuts down completely as a smartphone, because there is always some power supplied to it from the car battery, and therefore some dedicated memory can maintain the last active selections (radio station, apps, music, etc.).
To reset that memory, the power should be completely removed from the unit when turning ignition off.
If you wish to permanently disable the auto resuming, this can be accomplished disconnecting the relative wire in the harness.

HU doesn't wake up ramdom

Hi,
I installed this HU in my car a month ago and I still have not gotten it to work properly. My main problem is that the unit reboots randomly and does not turn on again.
I have tested the reset button and checked all the wiring. I have connected the 12V direct battery and the adapter for the steering wheel gives me the 12V ACC.
It seems that the radio goes into some form of protection until it suddenly decides to restart.
I really do not know what else to check. If I modify some parameter in the factory settings, it asks to restart, it only shuts down but does not turn on.
Yesterday afternoon it worked correctly but this morning it has not started.
any ideas?
These are my specs:
Car: Alfa Romeo 159 (2012 year)
HU: Xtrons TE706PL
MCU: MTCE_GS_V2.88_3
steering controls: Connects2 CTSAR002.2 + CTMULTILEAD.2 Patch Lead
I'm experiencing the same issues with my PX5 / CSN2 headunit from Klyde. Sometimes the HU won't come out of standby, the screen remaining black and buttons not reacting at all (but with LED backlight). If I had FM radio before turning off, it will start playing audio only in the background. Turning off the car engine triggers a restart, as if it entered some unrecoverable state.

First...update the rom and mcu to the latest available
Try
Second...disconnect the connects2 and use the unit without that canbus to ensure there is incompatibility issues. Try

Well, in my case the unit doens't start, nothing, no led, no sound... I think the problem is that the unit is not able to make a cold start after going into deep sleep

I can't update the frimware if the device doesn't start...
I'll try, but it is not easy because my car doesn't have 12V ACC so I need the connects interface to get the power.

To test, I would do this.. Connect the acc direct to battery.... The deck should turn on.. Reboot the deck while it's on. If it boots back up... Then the above poster is probably correct. Your module is not working correctly and not giving a proper acc signal.
The unit was connected with ACC wire connected to the Connects2 adapter. But yesterday I connected the unit directly to the car only the wires; ground, 12V battery and 12V ACC. The device started and worked fine. Turn off the car and five hours later the device didn't started. Today 20 hours later the device doesn't start either I tried to disconnected everything and connect again but the problem continue.
I think the problem is, the device is not able to do a cold boot after to turn off the radio. How to do a factory default reset? maybe this fix the problem.
I connected the device to direct battery and the first time worked but now it isn't able to start....

Seems a solution is to disconnect the head unit or car battery for some time... I accidentally discovered it when I disconnected the battery of my car for a few hours. After that, the head unit had a hard reset (NOT Wipe) and the BT was alive again

Try first to disconnect only the head unit. If you will disconnect the car battery for more than a few minutes, you will be supposed to follow this tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7q24rR401RA&t=177s
which will take approx 1 hour. If it doesn't work, try the battery trick. But do it on one of your days off, because you must to not use the car for a few hours. Mines works now for 3 months and still no issue anymore. Also, I permanently have something connected with the BT, is my phone or/and the OBD Scanner, but I don't know if this matter
