Found a way to change the CSC on our Fold 4!
Hi guys, This is not gonna be much info but to let you know it is possible, at a cost. So I bought an F936N - CSC: KTC (Korean). It came with the KT branding and the nasty bloatware with the extra setting menu for KT. I was sick of it. I tried...

maybe this could help.
Hey.
I think everybody in Europe has the same issue.
I'm in France and detected in Germany so I can't set up Samsung Wallet.
On my S21U, same SIM, same place, that works.
They f*cked up something with their new EUX CSC.
I've sent them a lot of message and posted on the Members app but I didn't get any answer.
It happens to me the same way I have csc eux eux eux wwa
hi, i have the same problem, fold 4 Germany and samsung pay doesn't work. I changed CSC putting the India one but I hadn't received the update to A13 and therefore I had to put CSC Eux back, the problem remains DTM branded. On you tube there is a guide through the Alliance Shield app to change the region but I don't understand if it works for A13.

Hello people,
I bought an active 2 smartwatch with LTE (eSIM) in Spain. I thought it would be relatively easy to turn it on in Portugal (the initial version is supported by one of the network operators). However I have come to the conclusion that the network connection depends on the "goodwill of the network operator", although both smartwatches have exactly the same connection frequencies. Is this anyway or is something escaping my comprehension ?
Any one can help ?
Best Regards

Your PHE (Spain) watch won't work in Portuguese networks, neither Samsung Pay (in case you have Samsung Pay in Portugal).
For both features to work, is mandatory to change CSC from PHE (Spain) to TPH (Portugal)... With this smartwatch, R825F, till now is not possible. Read this thread for a similar smartwatch, the R830 https://forum.xda-developers.com/smartwatch/galaxy-watch/changing-region-galaxy-active-2-t3983895 and you'll see that is a complex process and it involves the use of a combination file specific to the smartwatch and for the R825F till now is not available anywhere.
I'm in your same situation, I have the DBT (German) CSC, and I want to use in Spain, so I need to change to PHE. So eagerly waiting (and searching) for the R825F combination file.
Any help appreciated!

Hi.
Thanks for the comment. I don't think if that's the question (PHE), I think the letters identify the language of the country. The base version:
https://www.samsung.com/global/galaxy/galaxy-watch-active2/carrier/
is exactly the same for a group of countries. I think there must be technical problems that only with the introduction of 5G networks will be solved, however in Portugal a older model sold by an Portuguese operator works perfectly:
https://www.samsung.com/global/galaxy/galaxy-watch/carrier/
and the frequencies are exactly the same.
Merry Christmas
Dear Guerrero
I just connected my Samsung smartwatch bought in Spain to the carrier network in Portugal that already has eSIM.
I could only do it using an IPhone 11 smartphone, which was able to read the QR Code, because with my Samsung S9, I couldn't reach this stage.
I am experiencing the behavior of my smartwatch SM-R835, then I will tell my impressions.
Greetings
Hello
I have just had delivery of my new s20 plus in grey which came direct from samsung uk
I have set the phone up and noticed that the firmware is march 2020 with no new updates
I knew the uk btu handset is on may 2020 however my csc shows EUX even set the phone up with a 3 sim ....
I have emailed samsung but wonder if there is any way I can get a BTU CSC for update as even samsung pay won't work
I have downloaded csc app from google and it only shows the one csc and no others .. samsung pay also says coming soon
very disspointed with samsung in fact I am really cheesed off ...
thanks in advance

There you go - I have had some contact with Samsung after I complained but they are being Arsy with me - I have a tab s6 and it’s BTU so don’t know why I have ended up with this CSC and they are two / three firmware versions behind
sorry just noticed its EUX not as I have put .. .
Eux is the European version of the phone and not the UK version. It does have multi csc for BTU so should theoretically read yr UK sim card and ensure all UK services are active. Try a full factory reset. Otherwise ask Samsung for a BTU device.
Has u also looked at sammobile for the most up to date EUX firmware and flashed via odin?
I am returning it to Samsung as they have claimed it’s a UK version and will get updates which is crap because it’s not even on Sam mobile
I only have macs so can’t flash software and don’t really want to start messing with it as Samsung we’re naughty in giving me the handset they did
I’ve got pick up Friday and gonna order off amazon which is showing UK model
I tried factory reset and it still shows same
It only shows the European version available when I’ve gone into the info vi an app off google
Won’t ever buy from Samsung again
Think BTU is Europe and OXM its UK and Ireland

Yes ment XEU is Uk and Ireland.
about EUX :
- it's not the active CSC but boot.carrier id
- you have not reboot your device after first wifi connexion

Hi all,
Just purchased a Vodafone Active 2 44mm 4G (SM-R825FZAKDBT) which I didn't realise was a German model. Obviously there is no Samsung Pay app on the watch as I'm in the UK.
As I got a reasonably good deal on the watch I'd rather not return it but would really like Pay on it as I had this on my Gear S3.
The Vodafone OneNumber eSim part works fine.
What are my options ?
thanks

Hi everyone, I have a GWA2 tizen 5.5 csc ZTO with ecg/bp installed; initially my watch was a EUR csc (I live in Greece).
My problem is that sPay only accepts Brazilian cards, when I try to add a card I click on the compatible cards and its only Brazilian banks. It does make sense, since my csc is ZTO, however o was wondering if there is any way to change the region in sPay app only? I am worried that if I change my csc now it might create problems in bp/ecg functions.
Tks in advance

Hey guys, I'm seeing a lot of posts coming from Z Fold4 owners who bought their phone on the refurbished market and that can't set up Wallet.
Those phones are often listed as coming from the country where they are being sold. But Samsung Wallet (Pay) doesn't lie and will only be able to get set up in the country of origin.
Now in Europe, most Z Fold4 come with the EUX firmware (except for a few service providers firmwares that remain there and there).
My question is : Is there a way to know the country of origin of a Z Fold4?
The only way I've found so far is to ask a Samsung representative the country by giving out the IMEI number.
Isn't there another way..?
Thanks a lot!
I can't set up Samsung Wallet either, and I bought my phone one the Samsung Store during the pre-order period.
The issue is that I live in France but Wallet seems to think I'm from Germany, for no reason, so I can't achieve the enrollment.
I just think they messed up something with the new CSC policy.
I told them but nothing has been done since August.
I have a S21U on the side, and everything is working perfectly on it, same location and SIM.
So don' count on it and use Google Pay if you can.

Thank you! So you bought the Fold4 on the Samsung Shop while living in France?
Then there is definitely something wrong. I'll send a report as well, in hopes that the issue gets looked at.
Yep Samsung Shop France.
There is something wrong with the EUX CSC.
