Hm, you can use download mode as long as the SBL is booting (as you can see by the boot logo)...
Maybe try factory mode (usb jig)?

Yeah, I've ordered a USB jig, so I'll try that when it comes if I don't find a solution before..
I can't get it to boot into download mode or recovery, so I don't know how I'd be able to flash with Odin..
I have been able to get odin to recognize it once in a while by messing around with different 3 button combinations, but when I press start on Odin, it just sits at "setup connection"

okay, so i finally got the usb jigs in the mail, and so i put a battery in the phone, plug in the jig, and all it does is light up the screen for a few seconds then shuts off and repeats endlessly. but i noticed that if i plug the jig in for a quick second, i see the samsung screen where it says the model number but then it shuts off. now if i press power agian without removing the battery, the samsung screen with the model number comes up again, but the phone still shuts off after a couple of seconds... i dont know what to make of it...
Hard bricked, send back to Samsung and play dumb or see if one of those "we unlock all phones - international sim cards - cheap accessories" places can reflash it with JTAG

Okay, thanks a lot, I appreciate the help. Any idea how much one of those jtag systems cost, and which system I would need to get? I mess around with phones all the time and if it's not too expensive, it'd be handy to have around in case of future hard bricks...

I've quicky googled them a month ago and they appear to be about 70 € IIRC, and if you're serious about them remember that having a complete dump of the exact phone you have will make it 100% unbrickable

By unbrickable you mean that I'll always be able to reflash it and revive it? Or that it won't be able to be bricked again? And I noticed many different jtag systems on eBay, which one would you suggest that I get?

Oh, the first
Basically, since you can read and write all the flash through it, just create a full dump when it's working and restore it when you hardbrick or... uh, get no display in recovery and want to fix it quickly  (for anything else flashing with Odin is probably quicker)
From what I've read RIFFBox is one of the most popular ones https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5TTjZgQYRfw, it's probably a little overpriced for what it is but it's aimed at the "professional" market of those independent service shops...
So I broke my screen kept it lying around for 24 months then finally got it fixed this week
After replacement my power button doesn't wake up the screen at once
prolly press 20 times before it wakes up
The capacitive buttons light up on each press and even vibrates with fingerprint but screen stays off
It works fine in twrp lock screen. Locks and wakes up properly there.
The repair guy said that it's a software problem so he'll software reset it for for me I send it back

Firstly download the unbrick tool I have sent you through the link then switch off your phone and make sure cable is unplugged then hold the volume up button on your phone and then plug in the USB cable to the computer and phone then on your computer and open device manager and make sure under ports it says Qualcomm 9 and then extract the unbrick tool then run mam as admin then click start

This has a collection of unbrick tools and versions of OOS.
This contains detailed instructions also.
Hope you solve your problem.
If not and you still have warranty for the display (OnePlus gives atleast 3 months warranty on replacement), take the phone to the Service Center. In fact, if you have warranty, that should be the first option.
Thanks for the response.
But I don't think my device is bricked, cause the phone is on working mode, but it's just that whenever I lock my phone.. It does not gets unlock on the first attempt. I need to press the unlock/power button end number of times & the phone still don't responds. It gets crashed and the System UI error occurs & asks for force stop & the phone is lagging a lot. I can't even use it properly.
I would still recommend doing it

OnePlus service is worse.
I guess I need to purchase a new smartphone then, or find some other solution.
So my phone is stuck on this issue. I haven't done anything wrong. My phone was just peacefully charging then the phone switches off by itself then the bootloop happened.
This showed on the screen:
dm-verity corruption
your device is corrupt.
it can't be trusted and my not work properly.
press enter button to continue.
Or, device will power off in 5s.
(written in white)
Although it does turn off by itself if I ignore it, after I turn it on again and press enter or power button it boot until lockscreen and if I try to do something like unlocking, scrolling down notifs bar, and sliding through different page on home screen it will turn off again. It seem like it's crashing. The thing is I am not trying to root or flash something. I haven't done anything on my phone. I only have one phone and I badly need your help. I hope wiping or reformatting the phone is my last resort. My phone is updated to Android 11 and lateset MIUI (provided by the system itself and not downloaded somewhere). Thank you.
Well seems like something is corrupt.
It reboots when you touches the screen(or do anything)?

It's more like it turns itself off again and if I try to press again power button if the problem show again, same thing happen. Sometimes MIUI logo appears and shuts down again it can't even go to lock screen.
Is there any chance you can unlock it?
It seems like your internal storage is corrupted.

At some point I did manage to unlock it but it happened only once and when I tried to open the notifs by scrolling down or tried to different part of homescreen it just shuts down. After that, it can't even go to the lockscreen after reboot. It's a never ending cycle. I can go to fastboot mode but I don't know if I can do miracle with that.
Well immediately plug into a computer and pull photos amd videos from it if you get it unlocked.

Maybe they will replace the motherboard with some fee. Or they will try to convince you to buy a new fancy phone just purely because xiaomi could earn more.
Thats all about luck (and problem is on xiaomi side, not your fault)

Do you guys think I need to go to the service center because I don't know what to do. I really don't want to brick my phone. But a while ago my phone booted. I set it up just like buying a new phone but after I finished setting up, I just wait for the phone to catch up because I was afraid the phone will just shut down suddenly. And then, it happened again the phone shut downs without me doing anything. Now I tried to boot it up again but it is currently stuck at Redmi logo (plus "powered by android" at the bottom").

Hello,
In the rush of flashing the january update I've flashed by mistake the Pixel 5 image bootloader (my wife's phone)
Yest that's stupid, I've done this every months for years with several Pixel phones, but I was listening to music at the same time and did dl the wrong image...
Anyway my phone is now hard bricked but I'm sure there must be a way to enter the other bootlader slot and/or entering a special recovery tool.
I cannot enter bootloader anymore
Requesting some help as I'd avoid to send it for a reflash...
Thanks !

No that's the problem.
But there are 2 bootloader slots (a and b) and I'm pretty sure there is way to switch from one to another with a special tool or button sequence.
I've already tried many button combinaison with no luck.
This kind of error is so stupid that I hope there is a way to force a rescue bootloader or something on boot.
yes but you need to be able to communicate with your phone from your pc.....if you cant access fastboot then how will you change partition?

The only special tools we have are either the pixel repair tool or the android flash tool. If both can't get you fastboot / firmware flashing, that's it. Hardbrick. Google Pixels don't have "special" hardbrick solving tools, like older OnePlus had. You need to contact Google.

EDIT: Uh, never mind. So you accidentally used the P5 fw. Why on hell would the device accept the P5 fw at all?!
Same problem here: downloaded from a blog the latest firmware. They have linked the pixel 5 firmware and named it as Pixel 6 pro full firmware. Have filled in a repair request in my google account, because I’ve bought it directly in their store.
Do you think they have a way to find out what went wrong? I meant the phone is not giving any signal, regardless of which button combination I press. Worst case: I have to pay for the repair…

WOW. So even holding volume down and power until you see the fastboot screen wont work? sometimes you have to hold it for a while. I say that because when the December firmware came out I accidentally flashed the wrong region but was able to access bootloader and so was able to rescue myself. So sorry dude. That really sucks.

Yes worst case we'll have for repair but they could have implemented a simple device id check on their script prior flashing anything, especially for the bootloader.
Anyway, I'm alive, in a good health and it's just a phone

You can flash gobbledygook to your phone if you're not careful. You can flash a non-Google phone's image. Flashing just flashes what you tell it to flash.

Get the Google USB Driver

I know that you tried to get into Fastboot. Pixel 6/6P also has a Recovery mode. I can get to it from a working phone.
I would think that there is someway to boot into Recovery mode from a dead phone via button combos.

Did you hold power and volume up for 15-30 seconds? Also, did you try and charge it? Could be dead
Let's put it this way, you're phone won't awaken until it's internal signature can be re verified. It uses ACM as an initial protocol then goes into a serial gadget mode. At the current moment someone straight up stole my Pixel 6 or else I would still be working on a unbrick solution. If anyone's willing to donate a bricked one I'm all for putting in the effort to continuing development.
The nature of the dead brick is to ensure that no data on your phone can be compromised. So the the method to unbricking also requires you to a sort of NAND erase, as seen on previous Exynos devices. I had just gotten all the tools set up and even made my own ACM handshake in coordinance with the Open Source Vendor Code and someone just decided, oh hey, look it's a nice phone let's take it. And now I have to continue making payments on it. Life sucks sometimes.

Yeah Google's fix is $600. Which is ridiculous. I had it plugged in all day, now I just have it sitting on my dresser hopefully it will just start on it's own. I don't know what else to try. I tried pressing the power button for 60 seconds. I tried power volume up for 60 seconds. I tried power button volume down for 60 seconds. Nothing seems to work. Yet if I plug it in to my laptop, you can hear the ding as if it connected. So I don't know what to think.

If your phone is recognized as Pixel Rom recovery, then I am very sorry to you. only the official Google service will save you, or you will find the same phone with a broken screen in the trash that you can take a fee from there and put it on yourself
