Using a mobile broadband stick with a PX5 unit - MTCD Android Head Units General

Hi everyone!
I bought a car which has an A-Media Auto (1024x600 W) Head Unit, with Android 6. It has a USB plug, and I want to use my Huawei E3372h stick with it to eliminate the need to share my phones' WiFi everytime I want to use the internet on the HU.
So far I cannot achieve anything on this. I've found PPP Widget 3, which would handle the stick, but it needs root permissions, and I can't root the device. None of the apks I've found were able to root the HU. I've found a HOWTO, but it needs adb. Adb over WiFi doesn't work, as you can't authorize you PC over WiFi, only through USB connection.
The HU only has a USB-A plug, and while I have a USB-A male-male cable, the connection just didn't work, my PC just said 'no devices/emulators attached' (adb is enabled in the developer options)
So I'm stuck and out of ideas.
Any suggestions where to continue?
Thank you!

Honestly, replace with a FYT based UIS7862 with builtin cellular

Hey, I myself tried to find an affordable 5G-Stick but most of them don't recognize AT-Commands anymore.
I ended up using "Hotspot Automatik" on my phone.
As soon as my phone connects to the Radios Bluetooth (you can whitelist devices) it starts an hotspot.
Works like a charm.
Just a suggestion since I ran into the same problem.

[How to] On Screen Phone on G Pro

LG G pro has a built in app to control your phone from PC. This is how you use it.
01) Download the latest LG On Screen Software to you PC.
Download link - http://tool.xcdn.gdms.lge.com/swdata/MOBILESYNC/GO/QOSP.4.2.001.140114/LGOnScreenPhone/AutoRun/LGOSP_Setup.exe
02) Install Software on your PC then execute it. The software will prompt to create a new connection. Then open the On-Screen Phone app in your phone , Then Connect the phone to PC via USB and when prompted select LG Software as connection method. (If it doesn't prompt go to Settings->General->PC connection-> Select USB connection method->LG software).
03) The software will either connect your phone automatically or prompt you to create a connection. Select USB -> Next The phone will be connected to your PC and a preview of your Phone will be shown on the monitor as shown below.
I used USB connection method only. If it works over Bluetooth or WiFi please post your findings so other users may benefit from it.

type C OTG adapter is detected but LG G7 thinq doesn't recognize TV tuner

Hello,
I have a USB OTG adapter that works on my Huawei P10, my wife´s P20, and Mi Tab 3. However, when I connect a TV tuner using this adapter to LG G7, it seems that it is being detected:

But, whichever option I choose, it seems that it cannot work and start loading the device again and asking me the same thing. Is there any configuration that I might be missing?
Thanks!

In Windows Device Manager - "SAMSUNG_Android"

Note the attached screen shot of the Device Manager on a brand new Windows 10 64 Bit machine when a Verizon Note 10+ 5G is connected to the PC's USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C jack with the cable that comes from Samsung with their 45W charger. Everything works perfectly including connectivity with the PC's file manager to access the files on the phone. It's just that I am a somewhat spoiled perfectionist techie and not sure why I am getting this. I've searched and haven't found any "driver's" (even though it appears everything is natively supported).
Any thoughts? My phone is not named "SAMSUNG_Android" - so that is a default designation...

When I connect my device, it appears as "samsung sm-975F"
Mine is SM-976V... And, drum roll.... Does the Device Manager say there are no driver's for it on your PC?

Question Wireless display/ screen cast

My p6p will not pick up my TVs built in wireless display or even my Roku, do pixel phones only detect chrome casts? My Samsung is able to pick it all up weird.
All the playstore apps I have tried don't work either
No luck here either. I have a 2020 LG CX TV. I assume it might work with any brand that uses Android TV (or an addon Android TV, similar to Chromecast). I've successfully used apps such as AirDroid to mirror to my computer, which is also hooked up to my TV. They have several related apps, several of which might do what you need. https://play.google.com/store/apps/developer?id=SAND+STUDIO&hl=en
In the past, I've also successfully used TeamViewer - again to mirror on the computer. You have to do it locally over Wi-Fi, though, remote via mobile data didn't work for me on any phone.

Some non-Android TVs do accept Google-style casting or allow the YouTube app to act as a middle man for content-specific casting. I know my LG webOS one allows the latter. BubbleUPnP and LocalCast are similar in that regard.
But mirroring? That's harder with a Pixel.
I remember in the past there were Magisk modules to enable the checkbox for Miracast, but it doesn't actually work or can even cause bootloops.

I recently got an android unit for my BMW X3.
Took a bit of figuring out how to connect it all as I purchased it off someone’s hands and it came with no instructions.
Finally managed to get the unit to power on but….that’s about it.
I believe the seller told me it’s px6 unit with 4gb or ram - 64
But looking in settings (see attached) I think it shows 2-32?
Issues I’m having are as follows:
- owner stated it has the apple car play however it only has the mirroring app that only displays grey screen with my iPhone 13
-thought of getting the usb apple CarPlay bundle but the usb cable - does not work. Tried it with charging cables, differently formatted usb sticks, nothing. No power comes through them + usb is greyed out in the settings on the unit.
-the Bluetooth of the unit is not working either. Keeps showing a screen saying “initialising……” seems like it’s stuck in an infinite loop.
-no sound coming through that unit either. Tried connecting the aux out to the oem console (there are 2 outs) none of them send any signal.
Is there any hope in here?
