As the title says I have no caller ID unless I disable VOLTE, does anyone know how to fix this issue?
Just use SEARCH option on this forum or Google.

In the phone setting - Services - Caller Id is an option to send id "Only to Contacts" instead of everyone or no one. It isn't working with the official AT&T WM6. Actually I'm not sure it ever worked. Anyone have an luck getting it to work? It would be great.

That is for outgoing caller id (ie, only reveal your caller id to people in your contact list). Is that what you tested to determine it wasn't working?

This is not similar to picture caller ID or any 3rd party apps. This service is provided by your Network Operator. If you're subscribed to it then you will have the capability to reveal or not to reveal your ID to your receivers by sending the command to your Network Operator.
yes.. its not caller id picture. its to enable the reveal of our phone number to the caller or not. i am using it but everytime i call the function is not working.

Are you subscribed to the CLIR service?
AFAIK, Celcom only gives you 2 options when subcribed to it. 'To show' or 'Not to show'. There's no selective show.
Yes, I actually understand how it is supposed to work and have tested it by calling both contacts and numbers not in my contacts.
Send my Caller Id to everyone or no one works. The option to send to contacts only shows as an option when downloaded from the network and worked on an older phone. I am not sure it ever worked on the 8525 but it isn't working now even though tech support at HTC and At&t says it should. They blame it on unofficial upgrades to software.
I'll test it again on the next build from At&t which I hear is in the kitchen now.
When I go to More > Settings > More Settings, the option for Call forwarding, Call barring, and Call waiting are all grayed off, as if they are disabled.
Does anyone else on T-Mobile have this issue, or know of a solution to enable them?
they all show up fine for me
Mine is working as intended
Edit:
Thought I read Wi-Fi calling... Did you call T-Mobile and see if call forwarding is active on your line?
I'm not sure if the radio has voice disabled, or if there's something software-side I may have missed, but I can't seem to get calls to work over cellular.
I've tried setting config_voice_capable to true in config.xml, and I've tried using aosp_base_telephony.mk instead of aosp_base.mk; both while building LineageOS. I've gotten the dialer to show, but when I try to make a call, the Phone app instantly hangs up.
Trying to call my number doesn't give any kind of audible notification either, but if I do a adb logcat -b radio, I see that the N7 notices the call.
Edit: Not an ideal solution, but this works good enough to at least have my cellular number not totally useless:
Install a ROM with Telephony support built-in
Use a USSD code for your carrier to enable Call Forwarding to your Google Voice number
Install Hangouts and Hangouts Dialer
Anyone that calls your Google Voice number or your regular cellular number will ring your Google Voice number. When calling out, you have no choice but to use your Google Voice number.
Only way I got this to work was to use a 6.0.1 kernel and use the application Talkatone. Whether I'm on the cell network or Wifi I can do VoIP/SIP calls. Nexus 7 2012 with the nougat kernel will work with Talkatone. Problem is I can't get my 3-g unit at work over the air yet. My service provider Sim might be incompatible.
When VoLTE (and VoWiFi probably) is on on my RN8T every incoming call in the call log have my own number "glued" to end of incoming number (also in notification, eg. of missed call) - so I don't know who was calling.
While incoming call is in progress the identification shows correct ID from my contacts but after the call is over the number contains my own number at the end in call log so there is no correct ID from contacts.
I tried a few A10 roms and it happens to me on everyone.
Can anyone confirm this or have idea how to fix this?
Have you figured it out?
Have the same problem with 9T
Is there a way to enable call recording on Phone App by Google on OP7T? I want to switch to the goofle dialer because of OnePlus dialer has a sucky Favourites list and take two taps to call a number. I need the call recording option because i do most of my work on calls and having record is no compromise. Please if anyone can help.
Depends on your country. Just use Custom ROMs to enable that by default
