I've tried two different sim cards so far and several reboots

I don't know if I'm the only one experiencing this but it looks like that, after the rebase, the microphone is not working as expected. Gain is very low, especially on apps like Telegram and WhatsApp.
After taking a look at the device tree, it seems to me like we're using the audio configuration files from alioth and not from munch.
Will it be fixed?

Manual APN configuration seems to have worked (yay!), but I'd much prefer not having to find those settings on some sketchy website

Fixed in the latest update.
Released few minutes ago. Please download and flash that.
Screen brightness/color changes when refresh rate transitions from 60hz to 90hz or 120hz to 90hz. 90hz makes the screen brighter/colors look washed up.
OTA update version td1a.220804.031-10251033 always has the "Download and Install" option in Settings > System > System Update even if the latest rom has already been flashed. Tried proceeding with the update anyways and the option to download and install is still there even after the process finishes and the phone reboots.

First time installing crDroid to your Honor 5x, or coming from another ROM:
** Make sure you're running a proper working Recovery such as TWRP
1) Copy crDroid zip, gapps zip to your device
2) Boot into Recovery
3) Wipe cache, system, & data (or just cache & system for a dirty flash).
4) Flash ROM
8) Flash gapps
9) Boot up
For root, AFTER you boot into the ROM, you can go back to recovery and install Magisk XX.x (whatever is most recent).
Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.

SELinux is PERMISSIVE
Don't expect any support if you:
- are not running the included kernel
- have installed any mods such as Xposed!

Clean Installed it just now:
- First boot-up tooook much longer than what I've usually seen.
- Setup wizard was unable to move on when I tried to continue using Mobile Data. ( It stock at turning mobile data ON, when I skipped the Setup Wizard I noticed that APN was missing.)
- Fingerprint Enrollment was not Complete.

and default music player is not usable because it keeps flashing the screen and I cant see anything.

all what you need to do mate is the following (requires ROOT)
1-find yourself a good ROOT file explorer (Mine is ES)
2-navigate to data/system/users and delete fpdata folder
3-(no need to restart the device) go to setting app then security then fingerprint and try enrollment it may fall to complete about 1-3 times but it should be done easily after that
try that and tell me if it didn't work for you

It's just not worth it, I tried both solutions more than 5 times and kept restarting the device the suggested amount. It's killing the time, I went back to Arrow

i did fix fingerprint enrolmetnt issue this way:
1 reboot to TWRP mode
2 invoke file editor
3 delete files/folders:
/data/fpc
/data/system/locksettings.db
/data/system/users/0/fpdata
/data/system/users/0/settings_fingerprint.xml
4 reboot to system
5 tap the "Continue (filinalze) phone setup on top of system settings GUI
6 select PIN+Fingerprint unlcock mode and continue as normal

the simple way to honor 5x is to erase as root "data/system/users/0/fpdata" only once and then register the used fingerprint pattern and fingerprint and that's it.
how about buttery drains and performance in this rom combring it with cr 7.1.2

For me it works just fine. I use it now as daily driver. Works better than crDroid on Android 8.1.
There is still issue, that only first SIM can run on LTE/4G. Second can run only EDGE. Changing SIM for data transfer doesn't help - only disabling the Sim used for data transfer allows to operate second Sim on LTE profile. I think the second Sim becomes then first reported to networking subsystem, so it is being allowed to use LTE profile. Even if You re-enable the first one, it is being reported as second Sim so it gets only edge profile.
Would it be possible to force reinitialisation of Sim cards when changing the Sim for data transfer? I think this way is operating stock software...

Bug reporting:
DO NOT report bugs if you're running a custom kernel or you installed Xposed
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
Do not approach us without any logs for reporting bugs
If it is a random reboot, grab everything from /sys/fs/pstore. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues.

First time installation:
Download the fastboot zip, It ends with -img.zip.
Boot to bootloader
fastboot update --skip-reboot --skip-secondary zipname
Now reboot to recovery
Factory reset in the recovery

It is recommended to update using updater

Sideload with ADB (preferred)

settings put global settings_provider_model false
And check if it shows now.

This UI is very good for daily use. just observed issue with Camera access: When camera access is turned off and if i go to Instagram camera, it asks me to enable camera access but if i cancel this access, it still opens the front camera and i am able to use front camera....(Seems like a major security breach but not sure if this is the same case with stable official a12 roms.)

happened to me too, the boot screen keeps on animating. for very long. I dunno what happened. I tried formatting data but nothing.

If you have followed all the steps exactly as mentioned in the link, then may be the file you downloaded is corrupted. Try downloading the file again and flash it. Or better download an older version of this ROM and flash it.

When I installed first time this - get the same behavior - bootloop and I did not pay attention so when I connect phone to computer - it's mounted with strange folder names. I've get back to stock firmware and before give one more try to custom firmware - I've reset phone to factory defaults and after phone rebot to first boot and ask to setup language and other settings - reboot to recovery, flashed twrp, rebooted and twrp ask me to enter password to decrypt encrypted data volume. No any passwords I've used is okay so I've go to format and format just data (in advanced mode format it's still says can't mount encrypted volume and of course can't format it). After format - phone was mounted on computer with normal folder names and the rest of instructions how to install firmware was go smoothly.
Can anyone confirm that screen rotation is not work at all? I've tried to turn it on - not worked. Tried to turn off then on - not work. Rebooted phone - still no screen rotation. Tried in browsers and launcher.

No problem for me on the latest version, rotation works well.
Thanks for the great ROM ! I am using it for few days and works great. I noticed only one little issue - in the Google app settings, assistant section, the option for "OK google" command is greyed out. In stock version it seems to be OK, but after update from play store this issue occured. The only glue I found here on XDA is that the app should be in the /system/priv-app folder. Default ROM version of app is in the /system_ext/priv-app and then update from play store is in /data folder. Maybe this could help. Thanks once again for the very good ROM.

After trying it it's a smooth and fluid rom a great rom for gaming i only have one problem wich is not a rom problem i just want some help when i change the screen resolution to 720p to save some battery and launch a game it doesn't show full screen in stead it shows you a button that says tap to view in full screen it's really annoying if i change music and get back to the app i have to restart the app so any help? thank you.

I'm having trouble setting up the work profile on this device. Is this a known issue or did I do something wrong?
Adding multiple users to the device is easy enough but not really what I'm looking for.
Unfortunately it seems like work profile won't work on this rom. Even after a reset, it still refuses to work. Both island and shelter apps don't work. I get all the work options under settings such as notifications and profile settings but can't connect the actual work profile.

It does. Check your drop down menu, hit the edit button and you'll see PowerShare is available there to switch on.

I think it might be an install issue. you might have to reinstall the ROM. I just changed the sound of notifications from the settings panel. Worked fine. Also changed the notifications from inside whatsapp and that worked fine. Which sound exactly did you try to change and caused it to crash. I'll try mine and see what happens on mine.

Maybe the problem is with Google Sound picker app.
When I click for GS app immediately I see Settings App crash. Could it be related with Migrate using? I mean restore all apps from other rom?

That's possible. Since each Android version is different. Maybe try a full clean install and then install that same app and see what happens. If it still crashes then there's a different issue. So far I've only used the built in options for sound picking. Haven't swapped to a different app yet.
Hi guys, is there any specific reason that all the android13 custom roms do not support newer firmware versions? I'm willing to try them but I've updated my phone to the latest official version, should I stop any updates from now on? Thanks in advance.

I'm not cook so I have no idea how this update thing works. Doesn't make sense that an older update is required for a new os. But that being said, you can keep your stuff updated. But when you decide to flash, flash the older firmware and then the ROM.

off the bat,Very good ROM,Almsot everything works,but there are a few bugs:
1.some toggles don't remember their states,and appear off(or actually may be off),like smart pixels and bluetooth tethering(in BL tethering it works fine,but when you leave the menu and come back it appears off)
2.smart pixles don't work,even when you try to activate it by power saving mode
3.in initial setup the app restoring process stopped,although apps were installed,their data were not(
4.google photos didn't recognize the phone as a pixel,a restart fixed this though
5.the phone doesn't seem to like to revert to 60hz when left alone,the phone does it,but quite rarely
if these little bugs get squashed we might have the best ROM for our F3 on our hands.
can't say for battery life,but so far performance seems quite alright.
also i'd like to request a feature:slide on status bar to change

i am a fan of SMART CHARGE and being able to adjust the charge percentage from 65% to 100%, is a nice touch that i look for in a more polished roms,

I've been using this ROM for a couple of hours and noticed a couple of bugs,
- Usb audio is not working
- NFC crashes when using payments
- Speaker has too much gain and clips
Other than that, great rom!
Nice ROM, thanks dev. If I can request: arrow keys on keyboard to move cursor, would be great.
