off the bat,Very good ROM,Almsot everything works,but there are a few bugs:
1.some toggles don't remember their states,and appear off(or actually may be off),like smart pixels and bluetooth tethering(in BL tethering it works fine,but when you leave the menu and come back it appears off)
2.smart pixles don't work,even when you try to activate it by power saving mode
3.in initial setup the app restoring process stopped,although apps were installed,their data were not(
4.google photos didn't recognize the phone as a pixel,a restart fixed this though
5.the phone doesn't seem to like to revert to 60hz when left alone,the phone does it,but quite rarely
if these little bugs get squashed we might have the best ROM for our F3 on our hands.
can't say for battery life,but so far performance seems quite alright.
also i'd like to request a feature:slide on status bar to change

I Tried you rom today, it looks great and is getting better with every release,
i am a fan of SMART CHARGE and being able to adjust the charge percentage from 65% to 100%, is a nice touch that i look for in a more polished roms,

I've been using this ROM for a couple of hours and noticed a couple of bugs,
- Usb audio is not working
- NFC crashes when using payments
- Speaker has too much gain and clips
Other than that, great rom!

It's perfect rom except for that I can't use Google camera may be in next update
Update Nikita gcam works fine so I can say the rom is perfect now no problems I really enjoy it
Can you add option to switch to 2G or switch off mobile data when phone is sleeping/screen off?

This rom is absolutely incredible ! I love it but there are too many reboots on gingko ! It's not stable at all ! Please do something about it !

Awesome rom, had been used for two days.
Build: descendant-X-OFFICIAL-ginkgo-20200806.zip
My device is Redmi Note 8T EEA
Cons:
1. No inbuild camera. However, any gcam should work, I use TrGcam 7.1, any essential function works.
2. Recordie app causes device crashed and restart. I will give the dmesg if it just occurred to me. All permission has been given.
3. Very minimum customization, almost none. I can't even swap button position.
4. NFC doesn't work properly. The switch is there, it can read NFC cards, but can't receive or send files.
5. While phonegraph is open source, it has locked functionalities as in app purchase.
6. Some fonts are quite tiny compare to normal, like quick tiles titles' font, fortunately I like to hide qs titles.
7. For those looking for call recording, no it isn't there.
Now the goods:
1. Guardia is really, really nice addition to the rom, salute to that.
2. Battery life is awesome. I'm just a casual daily user with occasional photo taker, going around with gps, ordering taxi, foods with gps, little internet browsing, no games at all. Battery stands 1 day with those all high activities. Deep sleep works.
3. All major function works. GPS is quickly locked with all GLONASS, Baidou, etc. Camera works with gcam. Fingerprint works. Wifi, Bluetooth, hotspot, works so far. Phone call doesn't have any problems. Can't tell about volte. FM radio works, infra red works.
4. It has UI that quite distinguish from other aosp. Like the quick tiles, sound level adjuster, the notification, all is good looking, I'm very pleased with it.
What I would like to see for the next build:
1. Recordie is either fixed, to be replaced with something else that work, or gone.
2. Same applies to phonegraph. I'd rather install my own music player.
3. Please start adding some customization.
Overall, it's a very good rom, I'm looking forward for the next build.

I can`t connect to data network = No Internet. Tested different setting none gives me data connection.
I´M on Swedish Tele2.
First, thank you so much for this ROM. It's incredible that I almost forgot how advanced and nice android is with this ****ty nubia firmware. Gaming perfomance is perfect. Battery seems to be good too.
Here is a list of things that are not working correctly for me so far (excluding already mentioned problems):
@lasset : German D2 mobile data connection is working fine for me.
Sometimes I get a freeze and then black screen. (phone seems to be still on). Sometimes it recovers and comes back on, and sometimes I have to turn it off and back on again.
Seems like I have no option to choose when I connect the phone to a computer. So I can't choose data transfer
SafetyNet is not passing with any tutorial given on the internet, but I guess that's no Issue but I need google pay pretty often
The Fingerprint is not working for me, with and without the given app. It just tells me to put my finger on the back and even if I try to put it on the front sensor nothing happens
For file transfer, go to Developer Options > default usb configuration > File transfer.
I had the same issue. This fixed it.

did you flash some files beside on developer options.
No I did not. Just changed that. Did you try a different USB cable or USB port?

Love the rom. Finally the redmgic has working standard android features like Smart Lock.
Camera issues are 99% resolved by using Open camera. Some applications have minor bugs with it like Discord.
Just a couple of questions if you can help:
1) Is there a way to disable the triggers on the right side of the device?
They are active all the time which creates issues when scrolling or when playing Youtube because the device keeps registering them as touches; scrolling will stop or youtube will keep showing play/pause/scroll screens.
2) Do you have any plans to maintain/update this rom?

After the ROM settles for a few hours, it's an amazing ROM, battery life is way better than stock. Only the AOD has a bug, sometimes it shows and sometimes it doesn't

This UI is very good for daily use. just observed issue with Camera access: When camera access is turned off and if i go to Instagram camera, it asks me to enable camera access but if i cancel this access, it still opens the front camera and i am able to use front camera....(Seems like a major security breach but not sure if this is the same case with stable official a12 roms.)

If you have followed all the steps exactly as mentioned in the link, then may be the file you downloaded is corrupted. Try downloading the file again and flash it. Or better download an older version of this ROM and flash it.

When I installed first time this - get the same behavior - bootloop and I did not pay attention so when I connect phone to computer - it's mounted with strange folder names. I've get back to stock firmware and before give one more try to custom firmware - I've reset phone to factory defaults and after phone rebot to first boot and ask to setup language and other settings - reboot to recovery, flashed twrp, rebooted and twrp ask me to enter password to decrypt encrypted data volume. No any passwords I've used is okay so I've go to format and format just data (in advanced mode format it's still says can't mount encrypted volume and of course can't format it). After format - phone was mounted on computer with normal folder names and the rest of instructions how to install firmware was go smoothly.
Can anyone confirm that screen rotation is not work at all? I've tried to turn it on - not worked. Tried to turn off then on - not work. Rebooted phone - still no screen rotation. Tried in browsers and launcher.

I'm on Arrow-v12.0-Z01R-COMMUNITY-20220212-GAPPS build and screen rotation not work ((( what can i do to diagnose problem?

No problem for me on the latest version, rotation works well.
Thanks for the great ROM ! I am using it for few days and works great. I noticed only one little issue - in the Google app settings, assistant section, the option for "OK google" command is greyed out. In stock version it seems to be OK, but after update from play store this issue occured. The only glue I found here on XDA is that the app should be in the /system/priv-app folder. Default ROM version of app is in the /system_ext/priv-app and then update from play store is in /data folder. Maybe this could help. Thanks once again for the very good ROM.

It is a component of GApps as far as I know. This is a vanilla version of the rom. Flash a Gapps package with your required component
Why NFC doesn't work on my phone? When I go to the settings shows that NFC is unavailable (I have willow)

i thought the twrp cannot read the partions correctly

i remember that this behaviour was often a thing when a12 comes up for rn8(t) the first times. and there was a kind of solution for it. have a look in other threads or maybe someone else has more details bout it.

a few times before，i flashed a12 roms，which worked normally。I'm concerned that、 the a11 official firmware not necessary

It hapened to me too. But I wasn´t able to boot into system and recovery only to fastboot. So I flash MIUI and than falsh back to xtended.

Edit for a small first impression (ginkgo):
1. Rebooting to recovery works flawlessly
2. This rom is feature-rich (damn!)
3. UI handling feels fluid
4. Just few hiccups while setting up things. changes of two or three optical things needed a reboot to apply correctly.
5. With Magisk Safetynet passes with MagiskHide enabled. Works out of the box without Magisk
6. It has DT2S on home screen which I like very much to have in a rom
Added a few ss for a little impression.
An extremely satisfying piece of work.
Please help ,stuck in twrp Normal boot does not start

2. Fingerprint not working on third party apps
Everything else seems to work fine.

@道不尽修无涯, Installed this rom today and am very happy with it. There are a few features that I'm missing. Monet system is not really smooth yet. I wish you add the feature when the screen is locked and always on display is enabled or ambient display to shot off the possibility to pull down for the quick settings. It's very annoying when that happens. So when the screen is locked you can't pull down the quick settings, like in crDroid 11, that was really great. Anyway very thankful for this build. Keep on the great work!
Hi folks, I noticed that after a few minutes the colors on the screen get a bit gray (washed out). So from colorful to dull. With the pixel experience rom, the colors remain consistently colorful. Did you notice that too? Can the dev fix this?
After clean flash it shows bluetooth keep stopping and phone is restarting
I'm tried with niki and flame gapps but it didnt work (without gapps too)

Flashed crDroid 8.2 via latest OrangeFox stable with latest NikGapps Core and latest Magisk stable.
Running smooth with latest NoGravityKernel.
Only issue I noticed it's impossible to establish a VPN connection over IPsec protocol.

VPN is working now but I didn't figure out why.
AudioFX isn't working? Weather service is also not implemented?
Fresh install, refuses to boot. Stuck at the mi8 logo and doesn't even boot into the LineageOS logo anymore. Not sure what happened.
First time rooting my phone ,Stable ROM. Pretty smooth experience but is the face unlock gone? I checked the settings and it doesn't seems to be available at this moment

I want to go to a custom ROM but e.g. PE doesn't support this app, it says my device is incompatible with it, so I wanna be sure.
