Hello this is my usage for my LG G7 ThinQ (KR variant) and I'm unsure if this one is normal so I'm trying to find fixes since battery is draining pretty quick
I tried the following:
-Reformatting (even downgraded from android 10 to 8)
-Remove bloatwares
-Use phone on 1080p display
-Use stock and microsoft launcher
-Switched my data from LTE to 3G/2G only
-Turn off AOD, Google history blabla
-idk what else but it kinda is frustrating to use this phone to surf 3 hours and drain easily :/
Hopefully I can use this for a little longer and I'll be satisfied on this phone
(made an xda acc for this specific quedtion)

Hello.
Is it so witch i have read that updates can make the battery leak power?
Cause as soon as i got the phone in the charger for the first time, i waited for the phone to reach 35% battery and updated it.
Should i have then factory reset the phone to remove old update files witch can give bugs and power leaks?
Cause i did not do that.
Or how does this work?
Cause when i use the phone the battery is being drained by several % in a cpuple of minutes.

no game and music, no wifi or other data transport, just for phone and sms, the battery last for more than 3 days and 30% left, it is amazing :good:

It includes different system processes but you can take a look if you use gsam monitor widget, there you can see better which processes it includes...I don't have this problem, okay I use a custom Rom and those are fixing most things so yea normally that shouldn't drain much battery
I also use maximus Rom that's strange
Yea maximusHD is as close as possible to stock, but even with maximusHD I didn't had any problems with that even if it sometimes showed a bit more percentage with that. Htcmode just handles most of HTC stuff like a all in one service
Hi Guys, this is my zenfone 2 ze551ml screen on time. Is this the best one? and how to extend the onscreen time? I see everyone has an onscreen time of 5 to 6 hours but why I only have 4 hours?
Fireware: V2.20.40.198 (android L)
Apps: I use Greenify to hibernate the app
I disabled all Asus Bloatware, lower brightness, i only use wifi when I need it, I do not use 3G
I have followed the instructions of all the guide articles on how to save battery life on Google, but the onscreen time has not changed, still 4 hours.

Hi, I am testing latest A12 firmware (upgraded from A11). Can anyone explain if the left screen (one that is symbolised by little hamburger icon on 2nd screen) can be turned off? I deleted all "stories" from there but remaining elemnts persist and I'd like to get rid of the whole screen/desktop as it's useless for me. TIA.

Hi, just go to Home screen & Lock screen settings and disable Smart assistant
You can't. I have the T-Mobile version updated to Android 12 and OnePlus took away the option to turn that screen off.
