It includes different system processes but you can take a look if you use gsam monitor widget, there you can see better which processes it includes...I don't have this problem, okay I use a custom Rom and those are fixing most things so yea normally that shouldn't drain much battery

I also use maximus Rom that's strange

Yea maximusHD is as close as possible to stock, but even with maximusHD I didn't had any problems with that even if it sometimes showed a bit more percentage with that. Htcmode just handles most of HTC stuff like a all in one service

Different battery indicator - I WANT IT!!!

In this article Phil's Nexus One shows the battery in the top right of the screen with the bar and the numerical percentage over it.
Is this a hack, app, setting, magic, or what??? I'd really like to have this on my Desire.

I've got something similar, called Battery Indicator Pro. It displays a %age inside the battery and you can customise when to change the colour from Green->amber->red
Custom CyanogenMod ROM. It's not even available in the default CyanogenMod, you have to hack it up yourself.
I wan't it so bad I would pay money for it
A hack. No fun!

[Q] Weird Gray Battery Icon

My brother sent me this pic, anyone ever seen this before? I couldn't find anything in the search...

It means that the battery isnt communicating with the phone so it thinks there isnt a battery installed even though it is still sending the phone power. Tell him if he has TEP on the phone he can just go to his nearest sprint store and they SHOULD give him a new battery.
PS: this is the first time i have ever heard of it happening on an evo. But I have seen it on other HTC Sense devices (the battery status icons are different on Sense devices than that of regular stock Android.)
Thanks for the response!

Htc one x updating and battery?

Hello.
Is it so witch i have read that updates can make the battery leak power?
Cause as soon as i got the phone in the charger for the first time, i waited for the phone to reach 35% battery and updated it.
Should i have then factory reset the phone to remove old update files witch can give bugs and power leaks?
Cause i did not do that.
Or how does this work?
Cause when i use the phone the battery is being drained by several % in a cpuple of minutes.

What is mmcpd/0 and why is it eating all my battery?

So, I've been finding myself losing ~50% battery in around 4 hours. Looking at Battery Stats gives me:

}
So... what the heck is that, and why is it eating all my battery?
What rom are you on?
Jedi Master X2. I also posted there, and the people on that thread directed me to Agni Kernel, which fixed my problem and then some (~18 hours on battery under normal usage now, which is better than it ever was.) So, problem solved, though I'm still curious why this just started happening all of a sudden (I've been on the same kernel for months with no problems before this week.)

High battery consumption

Good morning friends.
Is this battery cycle normal? It may be my impression but I think my battery has been running very fast lately. I think it's time to get a new battery.
Besides, I've been noticing that my cell phone is heating up more easily. I can not sleep with my cell phone under the pillow anymore because it does not get too hot.
I am in stock and I also use Greenify to help with battery consumption. The battery consumption is the same in other roms (Android P, Stock Oreo)
I have already calibrated the battery excluding the batterystats.bin file using twrp and it still does not work.
I'm sorry for any mistake. I'm using a translator.

Get a new battery or try a custom rom.
