Question Poco F3 fails on file transfers - Xiaomi Poco F3 / Xiaomi Mi 11X / Redmi K40

I'm on Arrow OS v12.1 if that matters. I've been having issues transferring my music over usb to my Poco F3, random files are not transferrable and there doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason as to why. The files aren't corrupted because I can play them in my music player and even trying to transfer them one at a time it aborts the file transfer. I haven't seen much online about how to fix this and nothing has worked so far. I've set usb default to file transfer and turned on preventing the phone from going to sleep while charging in the developer settings. Also updated my bios because I saw something about it being a potential ryzen issue but updating didn't work. Any other things to try to fix this would be greatly appreciated.

I've the same issue with my PC. Ryzen 3000-series based.
One of the USB ports on the back works the most reliable, but only when I disable my Custom Settings from BIOS (e.g. Overclock / Undervolt Settings)

I'll try that out when I'm back at my computer then. Glad to know it's not a problem exclusive to my phone since it was hard finding anything online about this issue.

What you said there about USB-issues on Ryzen is correct. Some motherboards with some AMD-based chipset (I think X570) suffer from USB issues... ^^
For me the unreliable USB-connectivity also caused hardbricks in the past, because during the Flash over Fastboot Mode, it would just randomly disconnect.
Nowadays I've resorted to only using that one USB-port for any Data-transfer (e.g. phone or USB Drive). But only when I disable my CPU and RAM Undervolt, because if I don't do that, the USB-connection still ****s itself.
Oh and keep in mind that MTP (the protocol through which your phone + PC talk to each other), sucks ass. It's a decades old standard by Microsoft made in the 1990's and needs to be revised badly!

On my Asus Prime X570 Pro, in the picture below the most bottom-right USB-port. "USB 3.2 Gen 1".
Not even the neighbouring USB-port works reliably, so it is literally that only one.
Mind you, I troubleshooted the heck out of this motherboard, its BIOS settings, Windows... everything. At this point, I'm extremely sure it's a motherboard which is affected by the common AMD USB issues.

As for Wireless Transfer, I recommend SyncThing from Play Store. It's "manual" and requires set-up on PC too, but it's the most reliable, open-source, and no ads. Will flawlessly transfer 100s of Gigs or whatever.

USB doesn't work???

Can someone please help? I just bought a used P3300 from ebay (a wholesaler). The phone works great, absolutely everything works except for the activesync over USB. The phone is not even seen by the computer with or without activesync. I have tried it on several computers with the same issue, yet the battery charges through the USB cable.
I even reflashed the ROM using the SD card method and still have the same issue. What might be going on here??? How can the USB data connection be not working? I've never experienced this with many different phones I've had.
thanks,
Go to Settings, Connections, USB to PC, and untick Enable advanced network functionality.
I tried that, it didn't make a difference. I also tried both Activesync 4.5 and 4.2. Still nothing. I hard reset and soft reset several times - still nothing.
What Firewall is on your PC. Could be this causing the hassle.
Have you tried using a known-working usb lead?
I had this problem also to begin with, google an application called "USBKILLER" and put this .CAB onto your memory card and load this onto the phone.
When your in the application select SERIAL and click YES and this should resolve your problem - I am not sure why this happend but my mate who has the same phone does not have this problem and can resolve it by removing the check box in USB to PC settings
hey guys.... thanks for the input. My firewall is disabled - I read the Microsoft article regarding the ports Activesync uses. But AS works with my other phones, so I know that's not the problem. Same thing with the USB cable. It works with the other phones but not this one.
nicko666, I will try that USBkiller program later tonight. Thank you for the suggestion. I'll let everyone know how it goes.
Found USBkiller Cab File Attached - good luck
I tired the USBkiller program (found it myself earlier) but it also doesn't make a difference. I tried changing the setting to SERIAL in the program and also playing with the "advanced network functionality" and activesync connection settings and it's a no-go.
Still nothing works. Do I have a broken device?
hardware problem
i had the same problem after 1 month of using my p3600 i pay 59 euro to change it because the garanty not include this problem.the service told me that it was my fault !!!!
Hello. Is your PPC detected by Windows in the manager of peripheral? It is necessary that you look at if you have a new network card named "Windows Mobile".
I had that problem. I am sorry, but I think you bought a used and not-functional phone. The problem is probably due to high power that the phone got, probably when charging it through a car-charger. You should NEVER connect the phone to a car charger and then start the car - the power can damage the USB connection. You should always first start the engine and only then connect the phone to the charger.
Anyway, I had the same problem - the USB could charge the phone, but no Active Sync connection. I sent my phone to HTC UK, and after one week I got it back with a new board (they replaced the whole inside of the phone). Free of charge.
If this is the situation with your phone - no software solution will help you.
Damn, that sounds like what's going on with my phone. How do I find out how to have it serviced? I can't find anything on the useless HTC site. Please help....
And thanks to you all for the help so far.

I remember sending them mail regarding the problem, via HTC site (mail: [email protected]).
After all the solutions they suggested didn't work, they called me and asked me to send the phone to the UK (they gave me all the details and were very nice and efficient). I must say that my phone was still at warranty period.
this may sound silly, but have you tried the usb ports on the back of the computer?
for some reason, the usb headers on my motherboard don't seem to recongise the phone, i'm not sure if theres no enough power or what, i've onbly tried the cable in a laptop and that works fine...if i plug them in the front usb ports i get the error in windows 'Your device has malfunctioned, Replace the Device and Try Again' or something very simular, tried the other usb header on the board, same problem, back ports, no problem...all other usb devices work fine in all the ports!
Dear all.
I work for a company that has over 600 of the htc p3300. Some of them will work in the usb and some don't.
I have 4 at the moment, 2 of them will work with the usb and the other 2 won't........
Tries all the stuff mentioned here and nothing helps.
Can't update them because of the usb........
HTC are not a lot of help either......

Hi I had been trying to sort this problem out too, and after reading about starting cars with the device on charge I thought I was doomed. But what stead suggests has just worked for me too. I was using the nearest USB on my laptop but plugin it in round the back has just got it working again. The last time it synced it was 'Repairing' the Active Sync 4.5 setup program run through. I must admit that the cable into the phone is also resting on a pen at the base of the phone- just to make sure....

No Syncing, No USB Connection!

I searched... I unchecked the USB to PC "enable faster data synchronization" checkbox... I ran a repair/reinstall on my PC's ActiveSync software... Tried 2 different USB ports (but haven't tried a different cable yet, as I don't have another with me)... And reset my Tilt 2 a few times already, and my Tilt 2 refuses to connect or sync with my PC.
Worked fine here on Friday, but today I got nothing. The only thing that I noticed that was different over the weekend was that I got the Sleep of Death once and had to pull the battery.
Below is my current configuration. Anyone have anything else that I can try? If I can't get my syncing to work, my phone may end up being completely useless to me... That would make me very sad.
Thanks,
Debbie
Well, I started to respond and see you already had my suggestion; disable "Enable faster data sync", which for me does break ActiveSync.
So I'll go with this tact; if this is in fact broken for you for some reason, does USB work at all? How about using the phone as a drive? That said, are you sure you didn't check the default when plugging in the phone to be something other than ActiveSync?
Settings->Connections->USB to PC, last option is "Ask when I connect device to the PC"
If all else fails, personally I use Google for my calendar, contacts sorta with Google, and I load all apps via the browser, so I haven't used ActiveSync in about a year myself. So at least for me, if ActiveSync is broken entirely it's not a big loss. You could also try Bluetooth syncing if it's absolutely required.

USB doesn't work at all. Just tried the "Ask when I connect device to PC" and nothing happens. :::whimper:::
Could my port be damaged (it will charge via USB, however)?
EDIT: Just did a hard reset after exhausting all other ideas... Crossing all appendages that it was software interferring with the sync process... Pray with me, please.
EDIT... AGAIN: Nope, hard reset didn't do squat. I'm truly sad now and fear that I may need a USB port repair... Anyone have experience with this or can point me the direction of repair that won't cost me as much as a new Tilt 2? I'm truly gutted.

The Little Light Bulb Over My Head Went On...
But there's no need to be afraid!
I'm thinking that there must be some USB Bluetooth thingy that I may be able to use to sync my precious Tilt 2 to my PC that is surely to be less expensive than getting my USB port replaced.
Have any of you had any experience with these and do they work just as well?
Many thanks!
Debbie

Absolutely, you can get a small Bluetooth adapter for your desktop PC which will just plug into a free USB port and enable you to connect your PC to just about any BT-enabled device, your TP2 included
BT uses a very standardized set of protocols, so any adapter that says it supports "version 2.0 + EDR" should work just fine for you. Once you get the adapter installed on your PC, syncing your phone is just a matter of setting the new activesync connection, and after that it should be just as easy as ever....easier even, without the cable!
um, is that what you were asking? lol I'm 99% sure it was, but...

Yep, that's exactly what I meant, Chris! Getting the USB port fixed will undoubtedly happen at some point, but for now that Bluetooth USB adapter will fit the bill nicely.
I just connected my Tilt 2 to my PC with the original cable and I got nada... Syncing is definitely shot. Thank God it will still charge or it would be a total loss to me.
Looking at Newegg.com now for my bluetooth thingy... Any other reputable suppliers that I can check for one? I suspect that it was my Ebay car charger that fried my USB.
EDIT: Seems some of the better rated ones on Newegg indicate USB 2.1... Is this still OK?
Hey, I can't cook a ROM myself, but I'm a very technically minded beotch, ain't I? LOL!

Cool, I'm glad I was thinking along the same lines
Yes, any adapter that is BT 2.0 or above should work just fine, the 2.1 adapters are just a bit newer. I assume you're looking at the two zoom models on newegg? I think either one will work great, I just really can't tell what the exact difference is between the two.
It's a little confusing when looking at the BT adapters, they don't do a very good job of making clear the difference between USB 2.0 and BT 2.0. But...just make sure that the adapter is BT 2.0(or +), and it will work with whatever USB ports your PC has (older or recent)...they're all backwards compatible.
FYI, the TP2 also supports file transfer via BT (so you can move cabs etc back and forth even without using activesync, usually much faster than through activesync), and printing too!

Went with this one ASUS USB-BT21 USB 2.0 Mini Bluetooth Dongle.

Bluetooth Sync Successful!
...Kind of.
I forgot that I did a hard reset to try to resolve my USB syncing problem (without success) and had to restore my PIM backup to get my info back in there. Now, I've got all those duplicate/blank records to delete again... DAMN!... I had ignored my own rule!!!!
Anyway, I'm glad that this new phone isn't a loss to me now. Kind of a bear to get set up only because I don't usually use any BT devices, so it was a bit of a learning curve for me. Now that I've got that all sorted, it should get easier as I get more familiar. Not as easy as docking it, of course, but at least it's effective!

Yeah, I did, including different cables. Syncing capabilities via USB are definitely fried.
My Kaiser synced up fine, however, so it's definitely my Tilt 2.
Syncing has been going well, once I got it all sorted out, so yes, Chris, all is well with the world again... Now, I can switch back to 'playing' with my new Rhodium!

SKTools has some nice duplicate files software...just gotta be real careful with what you remove as it may be the same file name for a different program.

Haha yea I know the feeling. At one point I duplicated 3 of each contact and appt.
I like Seven for syncing to e-mails, contacts and calendars because it is all push technology. When I update a contact in Outlook regardless of where I am it will automatically push that info to my phone, that way I do'nt have to worry about docking it (although i'm not sure if it does reverse sync, where if I have an appt on my phone shows up in outlook).
Hi Every One
I have exactly the same problem grrrrrr
I have win XP pro sp3, tilt2 with last HTC official upgrade
I made a search in XDA, Google it, htc forum nothing to do
Finally I do hard reset and is work …… for 2-3 hours
Then I think I find the problem bat I do not have the solution
Well, when you connect the tilt2 to you PC this stupid one consider the phone as modem and the tilt is configured to be used for internet sharing, even if you click on the phone that you want this connection as activesync,
So, once the phone is in modem or sharing mode, activesync cannot work properly and get access to synchronize, in other word you cannot do booth, and as the default connection in this situation is modem and internet sharing so bye bye activesync
I go to task manager and delete the modem, once you connect your usb, the modem appear under network card/widows mobile based device
A doesn’t know if this situation is a bug from HTC or uncle bill… I am trying to fix this from almost 2 days
I hope this help
Thank you
PS: please I am not to expert, so perhaps I am wrong correct me if it is the case
PS 2: Sorry for my English
Ive been on the other side... I did upgrade to 6.5 sense 2.5 rom and usb stopped... I tried everything, cables, computers, roms, hard resets, patchs, activesync repairs, botting ppc and pc, booting ppc plugged in pc, install - uninnstall activesync, deleted partnerships, etc, in one word - everything founded on the net. Nothing worked. No usb, no activesync, just "usb device not been recognized...". Finnally, I gave up. Contacted DebbieNY13 for bluetooth syncing instructions and bought bluetooth usb 2.0 edr 2.1 adapter. For no reason, I plugged a phone in a PC, and, as usual,my TP2 asked me for type of connection, I said activesync and... it started to sync! One time, two, ten, then I change connection to USB and my SD showed up as usb device! Unbelieveble! Thats happened yesterday and my phone still got usb whenever I want! I really dont know whats happened or what I did, it simply works. Only difference from times when sync was ordinary thing is, when i plugged a phone and decide which way of usb connection I want, little pop up shows up with text"RNDIS Serial USB connection Hide", or something like that, and quickly dissapeared. Thats my case, hope Ill find out whats going on and post it on forum.
Please do! Yours is not the first that I've heard behaving wonky like that.
Here's praying that mine someday starts working all on it's own, too!

Galaxy Nexus USB Not Working

Hi! I tried connecting my phone to my pc today and it wouldn't connect (and I don't see the notification on the phone). I tried with another other pc and different USB cables with no luck. Is there any solution to this ?

Try ever so carefully bending the usb port up towards the screen. Maybe with a tooth pich so you do not scratch anything. My SGS2 did this and after tweaking I had ZERO issues.
I just tried that it sometimes works now (rarely though ). I also noticed that the phone charges its just the MTP that isnt working
Same issue...
Went to root my Gsm gnex... Couldn't connect to the pc...
And now whenever I go into gallery it force closes... Could it be an issue with the internal storage?

Is there any chance that you've got fast-charge enabled (say if you're running a kernel that allows it and some script starts it upon boot?)? If so, then USB Storage or MTP isn't going to work and isn't supposed to until you do this:
1) take it out of fast-charge mode (like with .. trickster mod or an "#echo 0 > /sys/.. {wherever it goes, have to google it},
2) unplug USB
3) plug it back in
4) hopefully it'll work if that was the problem.
Just a thought and it's happened to me. I use a script I wrote on boot to enable fast USB charge and another from userspace to disable fast charge so I can see the drive.
Good luck.

I use Trinity Kernel and I made sure fast charge is disabled. I even flashed from Rasbean to CM10 to make sure it isnt related to the Rom or kernel. I'm guessing it might have something to do with the usb port in the phone as sometimes it connects but disconnects after a while
Thanks anyways

Ah well, too bad. I guess if you need to get to your PC and don't mind reduced speeds, you could always use a cifs (common internet file system) aware kernel, (faux or air I think, maybe more), then use cifsmanager to mount whatever PC share you like and transfer over the air for now.

I have this issue with one of the many cables from replacements that i got. Its weird because like you said it charges but it doesn't connect. And I've noticed that if I use that cable to charge my phone it takes for ever to charge. But if I use one of the others it charges like a lightning striking the ground

just not your case but if you have a pattern lock might not recognize your phone. Try setting the pattern of sliding

hardware issue?
I did some research and came to conclusion that it is most likely a hardware issue. I had tried bending the pin inside the USB port but that didn't do the trick for me and seems to be a rather unreliable solution. I found a guide to replace the port yourself on ifixit. Since I don't own the tools and am not very good in repairing those things myself I had mobiletechvideos do it for me (i'm not allowed to post a link but you'll find it by googling for it).
It's a fair price for not having to do it myself and risking serious damage to the device. I got my phone back after 9 days and since then it has been working like a charm.
Anyway, it sucks that the micro usb port is that fragile and got damaged so easily in the first place.
I had connect problem and everyone kept saying i needed to install drivers and sending me to toolkits. I KNEW drivers installed. Turned out to be the usb inf file in sdk only had nexus one, ns4g, and the 7 wrote in. I copied the gnex info to the file and rebooted computer. Worked perfectly. Didn't even get the new hardware popup.
*Shaolin Shadowboxing*
I've been using trinity and noticed that sometimes it doesn't recognize the USB when plunged in after it's been up for awhile... Something happens when it's been on for awhile I don't know if it is fast charge related or not..
My solution... reboot the phone with the USB plugged in.. works EVERYTIME...

File transfer mode NOT media device mode?

Sorry for a kinda double post, as ive posted this in the noob thread, but I think its being overlooked.
When connecting to a PC, how can I get a normal file transfer mode?? the media mode is just too limiting, one file at a time, transfer with no ETA, cannot browse picture folders with image viewers.. "this file cannot be played are you sure you want to copy it" blah blah blah...
I'm sure on my old HTC sensation as well as media mode you had file mode.. but I cannot find it and I don't have usb 3.1 on my laptop only 3.0 so hopefully that's not the answer..
please help.. mostly after getting at my SD card without removing it from the phone as I can never find the "proddy thing".. not fussed if I need to install a third party app or other... but currently on stock EU rom non-rooted.

... im not sure if i can help you really. What is the operating system you are using there? MTP works for me in Linux aswell as with Win 10.

When connecting to a PC it should pop up a question about how you want to use the connection. So select Filetransfer and trust it with "Yes". And that s it basically. You can also find this in the notification bar... eh about what to use USB for.
Also be sure to have suiting drivers. IIRC they should be installed with HTC Sync Manager. Maybe installing HTC Sync Manager would fix your issues already?

How old? I think this special mode you refer to was removed some Android releases ago already. Nowadays theres MTP. By all this speed of that USB ports nowadays intention seems to be initially that you do not have to unmount it in order to get all that stuffs you knew from past. I remember when my ONE-S got a update suddenly in past where exactly this step to MTP happened. Since the USB2 hardware in this old phone was a bit older and worse it became slower than before. Many ppl had been looking for a fix for this, since you could not enable it like it was before. IIRC one solution was to use a custom ROM. I can not recommend using a custom ROM personally.

No it is not. I m also having a 3.0. Still at least with marshmellow you would have to enable the fast file transfer with 3.1 explicitly in the case you really have such port on your Computer. And still theres some influences and things to consider to get optimum bandwidth.
But a 3.0 connection is usually not as crappy as you describe it now. So i would sugguest you:
- I assume a driver bad.
- Or Faulty cable.
- Maybe some setting in your file browser on the computer?
- Is the preview disabled maybe?
- Latest drivers for the phone? (HTC Sync Manager)
At very first i would try to get latest HTC Sync Manager for HTC10 from HTC website. Or if you are in linux, check your packages, udev rules and that MTP gets rolling.
Hope this helps a bit.
PS.: Try connect your Phone to another computer with maybe Windows 10 and latest HTC Sync Manager. Just to exclude that your computer or its software might cause this issue.
Thanks for the reply, my "old" htc was probably 6+years ago.. I think it was my first android phone, Recently I have been using LG G3 running cyanogenmod, so have always had a proper "file mode".. it was just like plugging in an external hard drive. I did not realise this was not a feature anymore in standard android.
The main problem I dislike is not being able to view pictures... If I open one picture from my phone or SDcard, then my picture browswer says viewing picture 1/1 even if the folder has 200 pictures in it, I cannot space/tab through the pictures, I have to close that one, then open the next.... I do find it frustrating only being able to copy one file at a time, and constantly having to tell it that I do want to copy the file despite not being able to play it, but those things I can live with.
I already have tried installing extra software and on windows 7, (I am running W10) but no luck
It just sounds like they want you to remove the SD card.. shame they make it so impossible to do.. I'll continue to hunt for a solution without custom rom.. and post any findings.

Yes! I think this i why they kept (keep) it alive.

How is it. How do you think about an alternative way to transfer data like e.g. from playstore Air Droid using WLAN.
Did you try another data cable, by all ports and operating systems?
And just in case. Do both of your computers feature the same USB drivers and hub? Maybe a driver issue.
I noticed one thing recently. When i connect with MTP and copy lets say: "400 MB pictures" taken with my old phone, spread on 97 files to the SD card it does not take long. But what takes long like 20 seconds after copying is done is that it shows previews. I have to really wait until it is done transferring.
So could it be maybe the case your phone does not finish somehow?
And yes the Windows Photo thingie does not see it as folder to slide through.
Meaning: i can not deny your issues fully.
Honestly what i totally love is an Plasma Desktop for linux is an software which called KDE Connect. You get WLAN connection to your phone and can even control the mouse. Do simple file transfers. And what i totally love about it is, is that it almost seemingless integrates into the Desktop. On the other End i think WIN10 does not feature such service (stock). Air Droid is one of those tools in this way which you can expand the computer expirience with. The preview and copying over WLAN is blazing fast. Plus you do not have to connect the cable.
But it requires a client/server and permissions on both ends. And thats what i dislike about the Windows side. It is not so seemless. And it is in the way of one of those extra services, running.
Also the speed of the SD card does in fact matter. Is it maybe one of the older generations you inserted?
The new SD's from this year are much faster and bigger.
E.g. read about SD card speed classes SDXC class U1, U2 and U3
Even if you can push 1 GiB /s through a cable.... if the SD only takes 96 mib/s...... lol
Maybe interesting to have a look at what about capacity / price is happening in 6 years.
http://www.anandtech.com/show/10315/market-views-hdd-shipments-down-q1-2016/3
So lets say you was using a 6 years old SD.
Your phone is worth (lets say 600 $) but the SD is not worth any cent. In case the SD was so old.
This is how Android now is.
What you're looking for is USB Mass Storage mode. They removed that because it was a wide security hole where someone could just plug your phone into a computer and copy all your storage and mess things up at will. Media Transfer Protocol (MTP) is all Android has now. Your phone memory doesn't just have your photos and music on it; it also has your apps, logins, systems files, etc.
The "file cannot be played" prompt that bothers you can be disabled in Windows. Just do a Google search on that. As for transfer speed, I'll bet you that it's a bad cable and nothing more. MTP isn't slower than UMS.
Good luck.
Thanks also.
I didn't mean to imply it's slow transfer. By limiting I mean it's holding me back. I like to transferr a 20GB video, and while it's doing it, go to my pics and view+sort them etc. But now I cannot. One at a time. Zzzzz..
It sounds like I will either need to investigate lineage again. (I'm unsure at this stage what I loose if I do, camera apps, mirror cast etc). Or perhaps buy a hand full of "proddy things" so I can more easily remove the SD card. I can never find it when I need it.
Thanks for helping me get my head around this alien tech/systems. I feel I understand now what's happening and why.

Galaxy Note 10 Plus - New update bug to connect PC

Hi everyone,
I am a big fan of Samsung, especially, note series. I am using two devices same time included: Note 10+, Note 9. I updated software in both of them last week. Everything is ok so far but I encounter the big issues of cable to connect PC.
I can not use my original cable (type C to C) to connect my phone to PC. It had worked before the software updated. I tried to reinstall drivers or Samsung DEX but nothing changed so far. This problem happened not only in my Note 10+ but it also happened in my Note 9.
Besides, I tried with my USC 3.1 to C, USB 2.0 to C result in one of them work which is USB3.1 to C. It means the communication between Mobile and PC is operated via USB3.1 only. I try to find more information about these issues.
I really need your advice now, guys. Please give me some ideas or way I can fix this problem. Does also anyone have same problems with me??
Look at the error messages on the PC.
Clear the cache on the 10+'s boot menu.
Check all related settings on both machines.
If everything's running well and stable... I avoid updates.

Tks your advice. The problem is my PC didn't recognize my phone like it used to do. Nothing happened when I connect my phone to the PC via type C-type-C(USB 3.1 gen 2 to type C) or USB 2.0-TypeC. I used a USB viewer to check the connection, however, the result is negative. Otherwise, the connection works normally when I use USB 3.1 gen 1 to type C, USB viewer also can detect the connection from the phone.

I haven't played with this yet... as I expect the same fun you're having:laugh:
Bad or wrong cable or maybe a driver issue.
Maybe missing MS libraries (side by side errors is always that).
Use the MS Event viewer to see the errors.
Maybe reload the driver(s). The correct driver may be bundle in other Samsung PC apps you haven't installed.
Make sure the phone USB is correctly configured in Developer Options .

I tried all of your recommendations above, however, nothing works until now. I tried to contact supporters from Samsung and other Samsung android. I recognized the problem only happened in Exynos devices. Somebody in the Vietnamese forum had the same issues as me and his devices are also using Exynox.
So that anyone in this forum has experienced that problem please confirm in this forum for tracking. I figured out the technology inside this problem which is my phone can not use D+/D- from USB 2.0 anymore. I do not know that problem occurred due to Firmware or Hardware falures. Try to find something is useful, and recommendation from you guys. Thanks and have a nice day.

Nothing happened, I think somehow my note 10 plus D+/D- of USB were dead which result in PC can not detect the signal. I tried to use USB cable to test the resistor in D+/D-. The result is OL(in VOM). In my opinion, somehow firmware affects my D+/D- ports which cause the lost connection. I got it from the last update firmware from official Samsung. Before that, everything goes right, stable connection to pc, stable charge with the adapter.

Try a known good cable. Try another PC for clues of the root cause.
It could still be a setting or apk issue in the Samsung; of course it could be completely the firmware.
Even if the PC sees/doesn't see the connection being made it could still be a driver issue there.
Event Viewer has it's limits but was a good starting point. I had a similar issue with a PC USB driver and it was a real time consuming pain. After rolling back drivers multiple times and many reboots latter, it worked.
Keep googling and playing with it... you'll find it.
Once I have a fast,stable platform that's running well I rarely update.
Tired of MS, Android, Samsung, AT&T, etc screwing up my OS loads. Malware, Trojans, viruses, etc. have cost me one OS load max in 16 years even on very outdated OSs.
None on Android that required a reload... not one in 6+ years.
Of course it can happen but it's obvious that for me that most times updates/upgrades are the real malware:laugh:

I have the same problem on exynos note 10 plus 5g! Have solved yet?
Meh... Rule #1, if your Android OS is running fast, stable and fulfilling its mission, let it be.
My 10+ hasn't been updated in over a year and a half. Current OS load is over a year old still fast and very stable with little maintenance needed.
Security has not been an issue.
The easiest fix, now, would be to flash the firmware* that was working.
If that doesn't work the C port PCB may have failed. I would suspect that before a mobo failure.
*during production run Samsung will substitute chipsets as supply demands. This may lead to firmware updates being incompatible if the correct instruction set is omitted and/or incompatible for those chipset(s).
Yes this happens and worse Samsung has to physically examine the phone to determine precisely which chipset was used. Then Samsung engineers can hopefully rewrite the firmware to be compatible with all devices... or replace the chipset(s)

If you haven't done a factory reset, do so. It won't run right until you do. Do not use SmartSwitch.
I'm thankfully still running Pie. Still have overlay support for trusted apks. Karma Firewall's valuable logging feature is fully functional as well.
Google went Apple insane with scoped storage starting with 10 and has been in a high G flat spin ever since. Rather than cut to idle and recover they jam it into the afterburner indent like a rank G-Loc rookie. 12 is going wet
It's one reason I didn't buy the 20U.
