I don't want a bootloop.

I'm asking how many partitions the Poco F3 has and you tell me to root via twrp.
Is it safer to do it via twrp than via magisk?

Thanks, so I'll use the A/B partitions command.

Install Magisk.apk in TWRP and reboot.
That's it. You're rooted!
Also, you don't need to install TWRP and replace Stock Recovery, you can just boot TWRP from PC.
I always use fastboot flash boot_ab name.img command.Works flawless.

But this has to be done again at each update.
With TWRP, magisk is reintegrated during the update.
I have twrp,root,magisk.
Thanks

True.
But i am only using ArrowOS and i did not manage to dirty flash updates using TWRP, only clean flash that is why i am using the fastboot method.

Can i trust the info and try to flash aonly gsis?
Yes, this app has been recommended by multiple GSI creators. Out-of-box compatibility is another thing though. If you're getting an GSI you should look for "arm64-aonly".

Does it get to android logo or just goes instantly back to fastboot mode. If latter, you may be restarting your device wrong? Or perhaps you flashed on a wrong partition.

Do you have a TWRP image for your device? I suggest reflashing your stock ROM and then installing the GSI by TWRP.

Hi all, i have unlocked the bootloader of my Note 8T and installed the latest TWRP, i was going to install xiaomi.eu ROM, but sadly things has gone "bad", when i try to format, it fails, giving me a lot of red errors lines, ending with Operation not permitted, so i stopped there and flashed back the stock MIUI ROM through Xiaomi Flash Tool. Now since the issues with TWRP, I'm wondering how can i update when i will receive new updates via OTA? I think i wouldn't be able to do that with TWRP since the errors it gives me just formating. You guys think i would be able to update by downloading the fastboot update and flash it through Mi Flash Tool?
MichaelMay said:
You'll recieve new OTA updates, the recovery (TWRP before, stock now) has been replaced completely and TWRP is no longer your recovery.
I know what the initial problem is as well, you need another TWRP and if you had just read the forums you'd already know that and all of this could have been avoided.

I'm sorry, but i've used the latest TWRP for Ginkgo/Willow as xiaomi.eu requires. Also i've read of other users trying others recovery and encountering the same issue anyway.

I did and ran out of red error line by this flash Miui HellasTWRP recovery -> HellasTWRP will ask for password (lock screen password), data will be decoded and now you can install custom rom according to Conventional way (4 wipe).
Note that updates only via twrp are not available via OTA

So MIUI HellasTWRP Recovery is the cure for the issue? That's Nice! I'm going to try again then. A little question, did you flash the HellasTWRP through fastboot adb mode? Thanks for letting me know!
Yes, flash by adb mode
I've downloaded the stock fastboot rom, and i wnt to restore the stock recovery, becasue I'm using now the TWRP from here. I want to update to the latest global rom, to the enchanted one, but i dont want to reinstall everything. I only rooted the global rom that I'm using now, and i hope I can install the latest one without data loss, if I use the stock recovery.
Can you tell me wich .img file is the recovery in it? There is no recovery.img in in it. Here's the list of the files I found in the tgz/tar package. Or if it's not here, could someone give me a stock recovery image for the 12.5 global rom? Thank you!

TWRP is available, but only for booting and NOT flashing.
I've never needed to even boot it because I've just flashed ROMs via fastboot.
