Hello All
I hope you're all having a great day! I'm having a bit of a problem with flashing the S22 SM-S901N (Korean model) to S22 SM-S901E (EGY firmware).
What I did?
- Unlocked the bootloader
- Tried both downloaded firmware from sammobile.com & frija software.
- Booted to Download Mode
- Tried to flash via Odin3 v3.14.1 & 3B PatcheD as well.
- Used Original USB cable not the S22's because it has USB C on both ends and couldn't be detected by Odin.
Errors I faced:
- Re-partition error in Odin (both ticked/unticked the repartition option). I tried downloading a PIT file for this file but it didn't make a difference and still faced the below error.
- Complete (Write) Operation failed in Odin
Reasons for changing firmware: having country's firmware on the phone to get better cell service/relevant updates and enabling Samsung Pay as it's currently in Korean.
Any idea on how to fix this? Thanks!
Same problem here ... just with the 9080 (China).
I'm facing the exact same problem when I want to flash a 908x variant.

hi there guys. I am a practising noob. I am facing the same problem. Tried different PCs and cables.
when i attempt to go into recovery, my screen goes grey with horizontal lines across. I am able to get into download but cannot go any further.
I had Omega Rom v22 which was 4.3 installed and one day it froze on the logo screen. i turned it off and put it back on. no luck. Kies keeps trying to connect but doesn't recognise it.
now on the downloading screen, im displaying,
ODIN MODE (in red)
PRODUCT NAME:
CUSTOM BINARY DOWNLOAD: No
CURRENT BINARY: Samsung Official
SYSTEM STATUS: Custom
Also this phone was bought through ebay and the warranty has expired, on top of that, some how it was imported from UAE, but i was led to believe it was an UK product because i bought it from a UK seller. silly me lol.
Guys i want to thank you in advance with whatever help you can offer me. i have withdrawl symptoms without my phone.

Make sure usb debugging is selected in developer options. I had the same problem as you but once I selected usb debugging it worked.
Sorry but if is not writing the model of your phone at download mode 99,9% is sds (sudden death symptom).

Hi all.. My Galaxy A5 2017 (SM-A520F/DS) was running on Android 7 and I wanted to update it to 8 using Odin.. I followed all the steps.. But i downloaded the android 8 for Luxemburg as the one for the Emirates didn't come up yet.. When i clicked start on Odin to update.. It didn't take a minute. Showed me that it Pass.. And the mobile restarted.. But doesn't read the SIM CARD any more and still on Android 7..the Baseband Version is Unknown.. Please help
Did you used the latest ODIN? Previous versions do not work, make sure you use odin 3.13.1 or latest
Yes. I did.. I've tried to downgrade to Android 7 many times but it failed.. And now it stucked at Samsung logo and doesn't power on ((
Same here, I use the same region with previous, XSE/XID, using Odin 3.12 but it stayed on Nougat and my IMEI is unknown now. Please help!
Problem Solved
The everyone for not helping)...after watching some videos on YouTube I could understand the problem and solve it..here is how..
Downloading last version of (Combination ROM for Galaxy A5 2017)that's how I searched it on Google..many websites offer it.. then flash it to the mobile using last Odin version (add the Combination ROM to AP section on Odin) mobile should be in downloading mode.. the mobile will go into (FacTory Binary mode) that will fix the imie..while still in Factory Binary mode activated Developer Options and into it enable USB Debugging mode..then switch off the mobile and switch it on into downloading mode then flash your new firmware..Bl BL to BL section and AP to AP section and CP to CP and CSC_... (not CSC_Home)to CSC section... then flash it..that's exactly what I did and now I've Android 8 from different Region..
Hello
After trying to root myS4 mini it got stuck in odin mode. No big deal, flash the stock rom and it works again but it's not.
It keeps booting up in odin download mode and with flashing with odin i constant get the error (auth :fail)
How can i solve this problem?
I use odin 3.09, the right stock rom from sammobile and updated and tried different cables and usb ports (and even computers!)
The phone won't boot up normally anymore.. thanks in advance! - Allejandro

probably you are trying to flash rom with old bootloader when you have a newer one
should say
Sv rev. check fail: fused : 2, Binary : 1
on phone, means you have rev 2 bootloader on phone but are trying to flash older rev 1
But how can I solve this problem?
so i just bought a new galaxy s9 SM-G960N (korean version) i am trying to flash firmware for my specific country but it is always failing
gives an error
re-partition operation failed
and gives a big FAIL sign on top of the port
Re-Partition only works with PIT-files, never check that box when not knowing what you do -
Just uncheck, uncheck Auto-Reboot, flash Firmware, pray an reboot

Hey there everyone.
I tried flashing the stock ROM with a patched Magisk image.
However I cannot seem to flash the image. ODIN gets stuck on "system.img" ...
F. Reset time is ticked in ODIN.
My phone is just softlocked, I can reboot into Download mode.
But when I start the phone, it tells me that "something went wrong during the firmware upgrade" and to install "samsung smart switch", however that software cannot detect my phone and reflash.
Phone is connected with the stock USB C cable, I also tried a different cable.
I am currently downloading all the tools and redownload firmware with SamFirm 0.3.6 (I know it's deprecated, but it's the fastest and seems to work) to a different PC (Surface Go) and try to flash with that PC, maybe my current laptop is broken (Dell G3).
Are there other things that I can try?
Some information:
Note 10 plus SM-N975F , Exynos international version
Original country code DBT
PDA N975FXXU1ASHE
CSC N975FOXM1ASHE
Odin 3.13.1 & 3.13.1_3b

Update:
I switched from my Dell G3 to a Surface Go, and on the surface go ODIN works!
I flashed the stock ROM and am now trying to re-flash with Magisk installed.
Hey there! I've check some of the models of your G3 Dell comes with Thunderbolt while others don't you might want to recheck the ports that you tried? What happen to me was similar. I tried many different USB C cables but nothing work until i tried a different port on the side which then work. After setting everything up I was still not satisfied with the back port not working so I switched on my flashlight only to realised that it was a THUNDERBOLT PORT and not a USB C PORT although they both can fit into the same port but they don't really do the same especially when you have a USB C cable plug into a Thunderbolt port. Might wanna check it out!
