Hello there,
Android 12 has been here for more than a year now and the stable release has gotten 9+ months done. Anrdoid 12 is designed to be lighter and use 20% less cpu in the background which has gotten me more interested in using it but unfortunately i havent found out ANY realme x 12 roms till now.
Does anyone know if there is any stable android 12 ROM/if someone more experienced could invest their time into making a stable rom for realme X?
The phone's last update gets it to android 11 but thats it. This would not only solve the problem for me but thousands of other users as i only find links that arent trustable and could make people install buggy softwares/brick their phones.
Thanks a lot
Regards,
on behalf of realme x owners
There are already a bunch of Android 12 ROMS for realme x. It's not available on xda but you can find it on Realme x telegram channel.

I've been wandering forums lately. Even the LOS15 is officially supporting hydrogen only. I see loads of ROM which is official for hydrogen but when it comes to helium there is very very few support on official builds. for example only official one is RR 5.8.4. The question is why helium does not gathering some official love too? Its 652 you know its powerful enough to capable which paired with 3 gigs of RAM. I just want to hear from developers why there is no official builds for helium? Is it based on kernel code or something similar to this?
Based on dev will...
becoz its user base is limited, that is fault of mi, they released phone but shipped later to consumer but in that time ppl purchased hydrogen so hydrogen has good user base . also soc 650 has many phone than 652. like kenzo etc

i think so
I'm really tempted to buy the 5t since returning my pixel 2 xl due to screen issues. Coming from a Nexus 6, I really enjoy the availability of some of the most current Android versions through community built ROMs even when the version of Android was never made available for the phone (i.e. Oreo 8.1 on Nexus 6). Can some of the long time One Plus users comment on the availability of the newest Android versions for One Plus phones even if it requires installing community built ROMs? How soon after the release of the Android version do you generally see ROMs based on those versions available for One Plus phones?

Check Ground Zero ROMs, I'm running Validus based on Oreo 8.0 on my OP5 and it's really awesome with pure Android feeling. I read @martinusbe the head Dev will be getting the OP5T.

The community support is great. There are Oreo builds for even OnePlus One (Released in 2014).

Alpha/Beta builds: ~2 months
Daily Driver: ~3-4 months
A lot phones are getting unofficial Android P Beta 4 ports
So I was expecting any Dev to work on that and also project Treble support

Why the hurry? If you wait, you will get P stable on 3/t.
Treble may be a no-go.

It's not that I am hurrying or something
It's just that some devices that are getting project Treble support and unofficial ports of Android P are just budget devices and kinda feels weird when a flagship like the OnePlus 3/T is not one of those devices to test the new version of Android
Unofficial Treble support is kinda pointless, dev community will make it work anyways, just like all the years before. That's mainly beneficial for manufacturers as they have limited resources (focusing on newer devices). Treble is there to make upgrading to newer versions easier, so it never made sense for OP3 as it's EOL, only getting security updates from now on.
Wait a few more months and we'll have custom P ROMs all over the place, no need to hurry with half-baked betas.

Yes , my redmi note 4x and redmi note 5 pro run Android P dp5 nearly bugless. But my op3 ?
I've been using pixel experience for a couple of months but i think lineage os is a little snappier so i decided to switch back but I can't find the official build for it anymore, the device is nowhere to be found in the supported device list. Is this the end?!!
Yes. Maybe they will move to redmi note 7/7 pro.
They sure dropped this phone fast, its not even a year old. And besides the RN4 is still supported but not the 5? WTF
And theres still no global RN7 version either so why the rush.
One reason could be that many developers of this phone got an upgrade to flagship level phones like Pocophone F1. I'm assuming the official Lineage OS developer was one of them, which may have affected the update intervals and features with time. Maybe that's why the Lineage OS team chose not to keep this phone on their list. (Unless if a developer invests their skills and time on this).
Also, Lineage OS also didn't stand out that much in this device's forum because of Custom ROMs like Pixel Experience, HAVOC, AOSIP, and OEM ROMs like Oxygen OS and Samsung Experience. These developers have contributed so much that Lineage OS was not really needed that much. (Please Thank these developers on the forums and donate, if you can. They really have worked hard on this)
I could be wrong but it must be related to either of these things.
???
Does anyone has the last official build? is not on the official page anymore
Will this phone get an Android 11 update? I highly doubt because the NRM 3 and 3s didn't get an Android 10 update. I heard Nubia has a poor software support so....

Yes, we shouldnt count on it, but lets hope nubia put more effort in this time around, their updates and fixes for RM5g is quite good allready for the android 10 rom. They have fixed almost all bugs and issues the users have reported.

Nubia technical staff has assured us that 11 will come to RM5G.
Also, a phone has been pooled by RM5G users for a good dev and he has started working on AOSP for the phone.
