I just purchased an Atom 02. The headset volume is very low even at it's highest. Any ideas to increase it?
Any help would be highly appreciated.

Atom headsets
Hi There,
The funny part to the story is that according to O2 sources, the original Atom was released with a ROM that allowed the volume to be set TOO HIGH!! A customer tried to 'go' O2 for hearing loss... So the next ROM went too far in the other direction..
In short, it's a registry setting change that affects all later Atom ROMS. The way everyone gets around it is to get a decent Bluetooth headset.. The QStarz 360 - http://store.pressdigital.com.au/qstarz-bhq360-p-1335.html - has been the most popular with the Atom. There are some notable glitches with the last Atom rom with all Bluetooth headsets though.. To avoid getting a loud squeak from the headset when you pickup a call, you need to pickup the call on the Atom (not headset) then transfer the call to headset (using the pickup button).. This prevents the person at the other end hearing a loud squeak..
Hope this helps!
Cheers
Andy

Hello everyone! Question number ... ufff... I can't even remember now! LOL. Anyways, I know there is an issue with the SGS2 and low volume through headphones, and I suffer from it as well. Now, what about Bluetooth headphones? As they usually have their own volume controller, would that help the issue? Could I turn up the volume as needed? Because with corded headphones they usually just use what the phone outputs as volume. But with Bluetooth headphones is that the same issue? Or can it be upped even more?
Thanks a lot
I use nokia's bh505 headphones and they are much louder than wired ones. As have volume on phone plus volume on headset.

IThe volume is to low now for my bluetooth stereo headphones. How would I increase the gain in the ROM.I am not talking the slider in the sound menu.In the past on other phone you could hack certain hexidecimal values to increase the volume. I have know idea how to do it with this phone, or the Android OS. It would help out a lot since I listen to a lot of music through bluetooth in my cars also. .Also with this ROM I can not flash a boot animation, I was able to flash a new splash screen though. I know I am asking a lot, but this place is the best, and I know that you have the answers.
Thanks in advance recently unlocked and rooted my HTC Evo 4G and installed the htc_supersonic-ota-eng.deck-pb25.zip ROM. It works beautiful.
Hi Guys,
I have a Bluetooth Headset (NoiseHush N780) which is Mic-Sensity/Loudness seems to slow.
Now I need to find a way to increase/boost the volume for the Microphone in Android.
I only can find everywhere Mods for Speaker but not for Microphone.
Maybe Some can help?
It would be great to have an app for this purpose, but I'm also able to modify files through Root-Browser.
Hey everyone,
I'm currently facing a frustrating problem with my Redmi note 12 4g with wired headset, and I'm hoping that someone out there might have a solution. It seems that my audio is significantly lower than it should be, and no matter what I do, I can't seem to fix it.
I've already tried changing the region settings on my device, thinking that it might be related to some regional audio limitations. Unfortunately, that didn't help at all. The low audio problem persists, and it's driving me crazy!
If any of you have encountered this issue before and found a way to solve it, I would greatly appreciate your help. I'm eager to get back to enjoying my music, videos, and games with the proper audio levels. So, if you have any tips, tricks, or troubleshooting suggestions, please share them with me.
did u try another headset , cuz it may the problem from the headset itself
second .. if the other headset facing the same issue
then, u have to install this app
which boost ur volume
Volume Booster GOODEV - Apps on Google Play
Simple and small app to boost your speaker or headphone sound volume.
play.google.com
but i recommend that u pic the max volume limit to * 10 or 11 *
cuz it boosts the volume as u mentioned so it may break the whole sound if u crossed the limit
