Hi is there possible to install magisk on stock v30D.
I tried some combinations but have problem to make everything work...
Can someone post for me simple instruction.
1. Install 30D KDZ file with LF Flash Tool 2014 (with full wipe)
And now don't know which root method use and how to install twrp and magisk.
Normally I wouldnt have problem with root and twrp but magisk complicate everything.
Thanks for any advice!
Anyone tried this method: https://topjohnwu.github.io/Magisk/samsung ?
I think our TWRP from this thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3916199 builded the same way.
hi, I'm somewhat of a newbie when it comes to advanced android modding and stuff. I've never rooted a phone before so I have no idea where to even begin the whole process. I'm looking to root my mi a2 lite (it has the latest updates) and install gcam on it but idk how to do it so I was looking for "guides" on the internet. the ones I found are all for previous versions of android. I couldn't find a full "guide" for rooting this device with android 10 update on either xda or the magisk website. If some kind soul who is familiar with the process could provide me with a step by step guide on how to root and install gcam I'd be really grateful. TIA
PS: I do have a pc so I have access to adb and stuff
Magisk only:
boot a patched boot.img
Use Magisk manager to install (direct) to make it permanent
This method allows doing otas too. Look for the thread because I'm not going to repeat the info here. Patched images can be created by you or you can find one for the version you have by searching.
TWRP + Magisk:
Boot TWRP-3.3.1.img
Use twrp to install twrp-installer.zip
Follow the Magisk install steps
This can't do otas without manual steps. There's threads for TWRP and I've got one for doing otas (needs a PC).

thanks for the advice! but as I've mentioned in the post, I have zero experience in android rooting so I have no idea what any of these mean. You mentioned guides in your comment. Would it be possible to link those 2 guides that you mentioned? because I scrolled through a lot of pages but was unable to find any guide. thanks
MOD EDIT: QUOTE REMOVED
neither of those links are clickable

Hey, I just followed a tutorial and I'm stuck at this step (timetagged):
After installing the OEM fix file twice it still says Magisk is not installed. I wanted to just install the official Magisk release but in the written guide the guy said that Magisk used for rooting on Galaxy S9 or S9+ is different from official Magisk and it may brick my phone. Is that true? Thanks in advance.
Hello, i just bought the RM8pro and i want to root with Delta. As for normal phone we just need to use TWRP and flash delta zip but i saw root guide in these forum need to use pre rooted boot image but it is normal Magisk can someone help me how to root for Delta
Mine is rooted with Magisk Delta. The procedure is the same with that of original Magisk:
1. Unlock bootloader
2. Patch init_boot.img with Magisk Delta app
3. Flash patched init_boot
