Just got my new Black OnePlus 9 Pro, LE2123 (EU). 650 euro, full box, from a person.
1. 9 pro does not have gesture option "rise phone to ear to answer a call" ?
2. my 9 pro does not have at all 5g in "Prefered network type". that's weird for a 5g phone. I have new 5g SIM. Network name is RDS-RCS (Digi) 5g works on n78 band 3700mhz.
It's the same problem i got with OnePlus 8 pro. they say 9 pro have new 5g cip , more 5g bands, bla, bla...
3. i'm Locked, no root. Is there an app to turn off-reboot-reboot to recovery-reboot to fastboot, without root? I used Easy reboot, works fine, but needs root. To root the phone only for that...
I can't answer the first 2 questions though I do not see any option for raise phone to ear to answer call in my settings on 11.2.6.6BA.
As for 3, if you go into developer options, there is a toggle for advanced reboot, when you enable this, you can click the hamburger menu (3 dots) in the power menu to choose your reboot option.

Hey there bud, did you try dialing *#*#4636#*#*? Then hit phone information then there is a drop down and just hit it and select anything with NR. Give it a try and good luck.
The raise to answer is not available in the Google dialer app.

today got the update to 11.2.7.7. Still the same.

Unfortunately the trick does not work..., when i want to make a call from contacts. is shut's down FC. Both, Phone or Contacts app's.
I/m back to google apps, bleah!
If they remove double tap to screen ON & OFF too, it's the end for me & Oneplus! Oxygen os becomes BS.

There is no special APN for OnePlus 9 pro there is one way to fix that.. i am on zain KW and i did steps like OnePlus 8s .. now working 5g and volte but 5g no option in setting.. or waiting OnePlus update to fix it

Search on google or youtube "how to enable 5G for Android 11 on OnePlus 8" this is best way
I thought I should mention that without rooting or any other hacks besides disabling carrier checking for Volte and VOwifi by entering the usual codes, I am actually getting wifi calling on FreeUP, an AT&T MVNO. Which probably means ATT and all its MVNOs get wifi calling on this model.
So far as I knew until now, ATT blacklists phones that it doesn't sell from using this particular calling feature. ( apart from iphones and Pixels bought directly from Google, because both of those manufacturers refused to let AT&T sell their phones otherwise).
I couldn't do wifi calling on any of my other Xiaomi phones (Mi Max 3, a Mi Max 2 and a Redmi Note 5 Whyred, all rooted), although I could get Volte to work using the shortcode for it. But wifi calling was supposedly blocked from the carrier's end and couldn't be enabled.
I expected to get the usual "no network" message when I tested wifi calling on the Note 9t by turning on airplane mode, then turning on wifi, but it just put the calls through.
(you could always get T-Mobile wifi calling to work on some Xiaomi phones, but TMO sometimes other had incompatibilities).
fyi, the codes, in case anyone reading this is new to Xiaomi:
Code to enable Volte: Dial * # * # 86583 # * # * using the default dialer -- the message has to say volte carrier check disabled for Volte to be enabled.
Code for Wifi calling: *#*#869434#*#* -- the message says says vowifi carrier check disabled for wifi calling to be enabled.
(but check the settings after using the codes because sometimes you still have to toggle them both on)
PS: This model is a pretty decent option for US buyers on a strict budget, as is the Poco M3 Pro.
The next step up if you need North American bands is the Mi 11 lite (about $100 more) and the Poco F3 ($150 more).

I will wait for a few more days for solution until I give up 9RT and buy a Samsung S22 series.
OnePlus phones are no longer useful, at least dual sim models for U.S. users.

It won't get any better.
I was able to get 5G running when I did this:
Download 5G LTE Switcher from the Play Store. Click 5G booster. Choose NR/LTE/GSM/WCDMA under Set preferred network type.
As for VoLTE, I have yet to try this method from this thread. Seems to work for others:

Cool. The 5G booster indeed enabled 5G! Thanks! - Though the speed is much worse than my newly bought S22+. 9RT got 4Mbps, S22+ got 150 Mbps.
Your referred logkit for VoLTE doesn't work for 9RT (could not install logkit for 9RT), see:

Does a logkit app exist for 9RT? On 9RT OxygenOS 11 A.05, dialing *#800# result a Feedback app instead of logkit. I tried latest logkit from following link, but first got "installing...", then got "App not installed"...

I was getting over 350 Mbps once my 5G signal was working
Good to know that the roaming sim card has that option. It just sucks that we're limited with the fact that ours truly isn't a "global rom" but an Indian rom (as they still haven't released it elsewhere) and the choices like those activates for Indian carriers, afaik.
I've followed some telegram group for the 9rt and you're right, the current logkit doesn't work for the current OOS 11. Looks like we'll have to wait a bit longer.

Guy can anyone help me with my 1+9RT i bought it from AliExpress, it looses network signal randomly all the time. Sometimes has sometimes hasn't, can't use my phone. And also i can't call and nobody can't reach me by regular line either. Also when i use Wi-Fi it looses signal too. T-Mobile sim card i use as a main cellular carrier. Who has similar issues? Is anyone can help me?

hi all, i bought a 9rt witn oxygen (indian i believe), after reading for some time i realized not many people have this volte problem with color, so i with the help of oneplus china customer support went from oxygen to color, it solved my problem, volte from the start, no engineering mode or other thing to do, 4g and volte calls all right, i leave the post of instruccion for it..thanks to 4pda...

Ok. Its a little bit different situation right now here in US. They cut all 3G. So i have serious problems with calls.

here in mexico we use 4g and volte to make calls with altan networks..check {Mod edit: Reference removed. Oswald Boelcke}, there is solutions for enabling 5g, but at the moment my phone with color os is using 4g and volte, working great..

I have a OnePlus 11 imported from China. In Italy, I use TIM operator and cannot connect to NSA 5G network (my other 5G Mi MIX4 can connect to TIM’s NSA 5G network in my area), unless the operator is here Regional use of NR 5G

Thanks for your suggestion, but the program doesn't work.
NR status (NSA) in Phone info still shows: RESTRICTED
It seems that TIM only has NSA 5G in my area, and the OnePlus 11 imported from China does not seem to allow connection to NSA 5G in Italy.
But my other Vodafone SIM card can connect to NR 5G, and the NR status (NSA) in Phone info is displayed as: NOT_RESTRICTED
