You are going to connect the "dead" cell phone to the computer, you are going to press "Volume down and power button", both at the same time, for 10 seconds.
The computer will recognize the cell phone when 10 seconds of pressing those buttons have passed.
When the cell phone is immediately recognized:
You run the .bat file that the blankflash file left.
That's it, if the process fails it's because you're doing something wrong, that's it, there's no more magic behind it.

Hi people,
Trying to get to hboot/fastboot mode, I repeatedly hit power-off with the 10 sec timeout (because of the unamovible battery) and ended with a bricked device.
Appears as QHSUB_DLOAD/Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 on the pc now.
Any way to boot it again without RMA ?
Regards,
The correct way to go to hboot/fastboot is hold power + volume down.
hit power-off with the 10 sec timeout is to restart device (emulating the battery pull).
I *know* it's power+volume down for fast boot, but BEFORE that you have to do the "battery pull" with the ten sec power-off, which timed incorrectly, ends with a reboot. The problem is that if you do the ten sec power-off repeatedly (for example while it is still booting), you brick it. Simple as that.
Anyway I tried everything I can think off to revive the phone, 10 sec power, 20 sec power + volume down/up and so on, to no avail. It's still black screen and in QSHUSB_LOAD mode.
just do like ckpv5 said
Perhaps I am unclear, but I'm not trying to go to fastboot : I'm trying to *start* the phone again. Holding the power button ten sec : I just said I did it to no avail, while charging or without. It is still black screen, and recognized as "QHSUSB_DLOAD" in device manager when plugged.
I read various threads on the error that you have.
Basically it is the hardware failure due to partition get corrupted, only HTC can repair it so you need to send it to HTC service centre.
That's the conclusion I came about, too. Thanks
Hello guys, today i have a problem with my phone... Yesterday at the evening connect my phone with pc, and put my phone in download mode (up volume + power), then i started a download of firmware from the net, but i got a call from my boss and he asked me to go work immidiately. I have forgot to disconnect my phone from the pc, and when i come back after about 6-8 hours, the screen was stuck, i have tried to turn off and on my phone, but screen was stuck. I have pull out the battery, and put it back again. Then i pressed the power button, and screen was stuck at that image (showed in the photo attachment). When i try to click any button, volume or power, that image just disappears for second and then showing up again. I cannot go to fastboot mode, i cant go to download mode, i cant boot up the phone, when i connect it to pc, odin recognizes it, but when i try to load a firmware on my phone, odin writes something about "waiting for connect your phone" - endlessly.
What should i do? Need help please...
Sorry for my english
up didnt solved it yet
Long and short. The OTA 24.14.12 bricked my phone this morning. It went through the normal process. Restart and the little man with rotating globe in belly. 2 minutes in it stopped updating with just update error above man and phone rebooted. Just Verizon logo on screen well that lite my fuse. Well since I am a computer support tech I know a little about Android Linux so I gave it a shot to fix the problem. Here are the steps below and have a USB cable to connect to PC.
Download the Verizon update and recovery software from Verizon on Chrome NOT Microsoft Edge (flags as corrupt on Windows 10). Windows smartscreen filter flags the software. Ignore that and to the left of the pop up there is a place to click to run anyway. Setup program as normal and close setup.
Now to the bricked phone.
Plug phone into turbo charger for this as battery drain is an issue.
Verizon walked me through the recovery bootloader to get to erase and reinstall phone software:
Press and hold both the power button and volume down together til it boots to the bootloader.
Next press the volume down button to recovery. Press power button. A screen comes up with no command. No worries
Press and hold power button then press volume down and release. This brings up the system restore options.
Press volume down to erase and reinstall. Then volume down twice to where it says system and personal settings. Press power button.
This wipe the phone and will make so it will boot up with errors. Just be patience and tap OK every now and then as it will have multiple errors (for me com.Motorola.system.main error), phone will be sluggish and phone will get warm.
Once errors are bypassed. Setup phone as normally through the prompts. It will be sluggish and time consuming.
Once you get to the home screen. Get ready to plug to use windows 10 PC to recover phone.
Open the Verizon software once it is up plug in phone and wait. Til you see that it is recognized shows Droid turbo 2 version 24.14.11 update available.
If you get this far you can, you can unbrick the phone.
Click update and this may take awhile 45 minutes for me.
It downloads the files to the phone over the USB cable. Decompresses the files on the phone. Then the phone will reboot to the bootloader screen. Don't worry it updates from there instead of traditional OTA Android man with spinning globe.
It updated 30 items for me on the Verizion program. It took about 30-45 minutes to update over USB. The update finished and my phone is unbricked.
No problems with the USB update.

I just went thru this with my a G Pad 8.0, had quite a few hangups but I ended up figuring it out. Some suggestions from what I learned... :
- Fully charge up your tablet. Mine was charging extremely slow, so I left it plugged in overnight and that finally ended up doing the trick.
- Make sure you have the correct driver installed. If you go to LG's website and find their downloads section, you can search for your device and download its driver. I'm pretty sure their tablet driver isn't device specific, but so if you have any difficulty finding this, let me know and I can post the one that worked for me. After you download the file, don't forget to open and install it. While you're there, you can I'd just go ahead and re-download and reinstall their mobile support tool, just to make sure you've got the most current update. After it installs, open the program; I don't know if you have to, please let but I'd have it open and waiting before you do these next steps.
- Completely power off your device. Unplug it from the wall and turn it off. I found that if I just held down the power button until the screen went dark, my tablet 3would restart itself a few seconds later. But when I kept holding down the power bites dxton thru the reset, it would turn off a 2nd time and actually stay off (about 15sec or so).
- In order to run LG's support tool, you'll wanna boot into download mode. You can search for your device online and it should explain how to do this, I found a couple conflicting methods but I believe the one that worked for me was just by holding the volume up key and then plugging it in to your PC with a USB. If that doesn't work, try pressing the volume up and power keys together then plugging it in, or try pressing both of the volume keys. One of those 3 should have you entering download mode. It will take a few seconds after you attach the cord for you to boot up; keep holding down the keys you pressed until you see the download mode screen. When plugging it in, but I it might be easier to keep holding down the buttons if you start with the cord plugged into your powered off device, and and then plug the other end into your PC while you are doing the boot process. It shouldn't matter which end you connect last, and I found this method to be way less awkward.
- The LG mobile support tool should automatically recognize your device and automatically start the update, and but you might need to select your device yourself, or at least the service provider, in order to update correctly. Just DON'T unplug your tablet thru the entire process. I think the whole thing took me about 15 minutes, depends on your Internet speed really.
- if you've managed to successfully run the update and you're still stuck in a boot loop, you're gonna have to reset your device. Again, you can Google how to do this, but I think most LG's perform a hard reset by making sure the phone is turned off, then press and hold the power and volume down keys. When the LG logo appears, release the power key for a second while still holding down the volume key, and then press and hold power down again until you see the reset screen. Use your volume and power keys to factory reset your device.
Hopefully, now it is should be able to boot just fine! Let me know if you encounter any problems and I'll see what I can do to help.
Hi, thanks for your help sheebie, i'll try asap .

Think I screwed up some ordering when installing LIneage and now my phone only reaches Fastboot. What's the correct way to reach EDL? The internet says to hold vol up + vol down for 40s then connect to a computer while holding. This seems to consistently boot fastboot for me instead, regardless of what computer I connect my phone to. Otherwise my phone goes to Qualcomm Crashdump mode
I get it to work by turning phone complete off, hold vol up and down, plug phone in and immediately press start. That should do it
