Unlocked Verizon 5g+ Motherboard replacement - Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ Questions & Answers

For the first time, I bought a phone that I couldn't root, thinking that I was just going to go "Normal"(I guess). After about 15 days of having this phone, I had to get an update. After the update my phone keeps rebooting. I can look at the settings long enough to see that it is Android version 12, and is N976VVRU7WVC6.
Can anyone help me out?
Also... Can anyone let me know if I can replace a Snapdragon motherboard out with an Exynos one in this phone? That would be what I would want to do anyway. I can do it myself. I thought I was done modifying or working on phones, but I will NEVER buy another phone I can't root again. Thanks to anyone that can help me out. This is, "Hand's Down" THE best best place for support. Thank you, Everyone, for all your hard work and help through the years.

[Q] New Incedible

I have a chance to buy a dinc for a really cheap price, the problem is, it is stuck on the white HTC screen. Story is they flashed it to use on a different carrier, and apparently it didn't work.
Is this phone worth getting? To fix will it be a simple reflash back to verizon, or is there the possibility of not getting it back to working?
Thanks for any help, advise.
If they are telling the truth about what they did to it, then it should be an easy fix. But the phone could also have a hardware problem.
If you can't get it to come up in bootloader, it's a brick. I wouldn't bother with it. There's no way to tell what actually went wrong with it, but something clearly did.

[Q] Power Switch replacement

Heya Peeps
Has anyone had a problem with their power switch going duff on their N7100. Mine has (it sporadically works by being lucky when pressing it, its lost its springyness), so I am looking to get it fixed. Dreading the time it shuts off and I can't get it restarted!
Its still under warranty but unfortunately I need the phone pretty much every day so can't really wait for it to go of for repair and come back (plus its not running any samsung firmware if that matters these days?).
How hard is it to dismantle the device and replace the switch on it?
Sources for a suitable switch would also be great if anyone has experience with this side of things!
Thank you in advance for any help provided!
Guess that this isn't a commonly done thing.
I have ended up ordering a replacement switch from Amazon (http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00CBVQDLG/ref=pe_385721_37038051_TE_3p_dp_1), hopefully I'll get it tomorrow and I'll update as and when what it was like to swap over (since posting yesterday the switch has gone kaput fully!)

My question is this: I have a offer for a HTC 10 in brilliant cosmetic condition no sratches no even single sratch on the panel perfect as brand new condition never been droped or watered but the phone cannot switch ON.

Its a Shame because is even under waranty but was locked on a network.
Anyway he is going to sell it for about 50 USD im asking you
Do the deal worth it? and what can cause the reason for this DEAD HTC 10 after trying to Sim Unlock it.
I think to try eveyrhting posible to give this phone a second life and after a week will be able to take it and see whats goes i don`t know more info i mean do i have access to Recovery or Fastboot since the device is not here till the next week but my question is do this worth it and what can be the cause of NO switching ON anymore.
The owner sayd that before to attempt this Sim Unlock the phone was worked perfectly fine.

Do the deal worth it? and what can cause the reason for this DEAD HTC 10 after trying to Sim Unlock it. Well that's enitrely the problem with buying phone not working. You can't troubleshoot all the internal hardware like you can a PC and test what works and what doesn't work. you would need a working HTC 10 to swap parts with to test.
That said my opinion, forget about this phone. Go buy a working phone on swappa, ebay or HTC.com they are having a $200 off sale and you would have the peace of mind, knowing that you have a working phone. swappa would be best if you wanna negotiate a good deal with a seller.
Or go to ebay - factory unlocked 10's are $400 delivered all over the place.

I know what you are saying but listen
I know this guy is a friend of mine i know the device is brand new he bought it before 3 months in this case when is bricked after atempt to Sim Unlock im sure its SOFTWARE related problem becuase like i sayd the phone is in Mint perfect cosmetic condition no a single dust or scratch.
I know that its HARD to really Brick a device forever on a software level.
So i know also how much cost a brand new or second hand HTC 10 the goal here is do 50 Bucks worth it coz if i think stright only the Rear and Front Panel and the Displey in my opition worth more.
Im asking you what can cause Broken phone after attempt to Sim Unlock.

If its software why cant your turn the phone on? If its software you need the phone to be able to boot to download mode to flash RUU. I think your friends is lying to you. If its still under warranty why doesnt he return it back to the carrier? How about he give you the phone and if you get it fixed you give him the $50. If hes your friend he would understand.

S20 ultra crap(exynos) version help

Hi guys.
Its been a while since I came to xda to get some help with a 1300 quid phone in 2020, you guessed it rights its the sh**ty ultra.
As well all know how inferior this thing is on exynos version, I need some help to:
Have a better gaming experience.
Get rid of heat problem.
Atleast use the phone of my money worth.
I normally get my phone in uk, this year around I got it in Pakistan, but its exynos non sense here too.
Question is, would rooting the phone help?
Is there any rom which can take away heating problem, dropping fps problem, as well as doing things smoothly on this piece of brick?
Last but not least, has anyone tried any rom with an improved experience?
I suppose I could go to samsung center to get it replaced or checked but I doubt that they can help, unless they give me snapdragon version, which they won't.
Any advise, help is appreciated!
Thank so much for your time.
Cheers.

Samsung S20+ 5G Broken after 1/29 software update - Bought brand new and not rooted by owner

After the 1/29/2021, mandatory software update my phone suddenly stopped turning on fully. I sent my device to be repaired under warranty (purchased in October 2020) and it was returned saying the device is unrepairable because it was rooted. I got the phone brand new and I never downloaded any custom software or rooted my S20+ nor would I know how to. Unfortunately, when asked if I could have the device rechecked by the repair center to ensure this was the correct diagnosis they told me that was not an option. [Here](http://imgur.com/gallery/3I66p7C) are photos of the screens I could figure out how to view now, I have no idea how to read this. From what little information I could find online it seems like the fact that it says "warranty void 0x0" should prove that it wasn't/isn't rooted after all. Either way I don't know what to do now and I can't get any further with customer service at this time so I figured I'd check if anyone had a solution here. If you have any information that can help or you know how to fix this I would be so grateful. I really like this phone and have always had good service with samsung aside from this so I'd like to fix the phone rather than try buying from somewhere else and hoping something like this doesn't happen again. I definitely don't feel comfortable buying another phone from Samsung as of right now for obvious reasons and I almost laughed at them when they suggested I buy a new device from them since this one is only 5 months old. Please let me know if you have had this issue and know how to resolve it.

I'd take them to court, likely they'll resolve the issue before they're scheduled to appear.
