Sounds like a hardware issue to me if you already flashed back to stock via fast boot ?
It's probably still under warranty, take it to service center to have battery/motherboard replaced

I lost the warranty bill so I can't replace the device

If you bought via any card or monthly payment system those could work...
Other than that idk , to me this sounds like phone enters sleep and either battery/motherboard can't supply enough power leading to shutdown?
Could be something else entirely as well... Your best bet if you absolutely have no proof of purchase- you paid full price in cash - is I guess to try and grab some logs when it happens?
Not sure tho how you would do that, maybe magisk module exists that auto saves logs to storage in realtime or android already has a logging process which can catch the fatal error
Good luck

Brand New Device, Its just been a Week...
I Rooted and Installed CM 11 Yesterday.... So Today,After watching some Anime Video's on it..I Left it for almost 1 Hour... Came back and tried to unlock it...Touch wasnt Responding well. And Phone's Screen was hot indeed.. So Even Shut down wasnt possible ...
So i used Power Button for 10 Seconds and Restarted... Phone Restarted...But again Phone was very Laggy,So Tried Restarting again...This time.... No Display nor any Touch Buttons were lighting up... Instead what i got were random Vibrations.... I tried to get into Download Mode,Recovery....... Yet no Response from Screen but only a Vibration from Device itself...
Any one faced this issue? Any Known Solution...? I wont get free Warranty as Device is from UK

Have you tried to reinstall cm11?
Try removing your battery for a minute then put it back without your sdcard or sim inserted. Then try getting into download or recovery mode

I tried both of that plenty of times...

Totally my Device is Crazy
That means you CAN enter recovery? Try going in recovery and adb pushing a fresh CM image to your phone and then flashing it after doing a good wipe of your phone

I had these screen issues too... But for me removing the battery and reflash the Rom did it...
Seems like your new phone has over heated and caused some serious damage to screen and maybe gpu\cpu.
Seen this happen recently with a ROM I installed also. But pulled battery out in time. And installed another.
I always watch out for over heating when installing a new ROM. Usually a sign somebody messing with CPU clocks.
For your sake though I hope you got it in time and can flash another ROM.

I dont think its ROM issue...But Right part of Touch not working... and display gone off... Works without screen... And whenever i give a blow on that right side of the screen....Display Flashes and goes off... I have given it to be checked in a local store
UPDATE : At a Local Shop, they said display is damaged because of water ... [ i never kept or used it with water]
Samsung Store said ...Display was burnt from inside and they will replace it for 6k Indian Rs.... :crying: :crying:
Tell them phone over heated when charging and using WiFi at same time!

Hey I've seen this issue too, one of my friends has a GT I9192 and I updated his phone to the latest stock ROM first it worked very good, but one day he was recording something with his camera, and then played the recording after that the phone shut down, and didn't want to restart after taking the battery out and trying again and again, it reboots and after 3 or 4 min turns off again. I flashed some other stock roms but nothing, when I get in recovery mode, after some minutes the screen goes all blue.
And sometimes when restarting it shows colored lines in screen.
Went to Samsung Costumer Care (Saudi Arabia) they say that the phone has been rooted (which is not true) cause the KNOX Warranty bit shows 0x1
I don't know what to do.
The phone was bought in Saudi Arabia. And I live in Europe
Could I send it somewhere in Samsung CS in Europe cause i heard that here in Europe the KNOX warranty bit doesn't affect hardware damages (which I think that this issue is a hardware damage)

Oneplus3 is hanging and lagging then doesn't respond.

Hi all,
I'm using a OnePlus 3 for approximately 8 months.
After the past few iterations of updates, I started facing an issue.
The phone lags or hangs, while:
Gaming (high graphic) online/offline
Downloading via WiFi / mobile network
While charging
Sometimes random
All of a sudden it lags/ hangs up randomly.
When I try to turn off, it takes longer . Then the phone would be hard reset and turn the phone. Again this process also takes unusual time. Sometimes, some hardware like fingerprint sensor, camera etc .
After a few reboots, it comes back to normal only until I put it into gaming or higher usage.
I've not rooted, nor unlocked the bootloader.
This problem persists in any version of both stable and beta version.
I requested help from OnePlus but they're asking some log.
Even I cannot access my phone to create log or systrace.
When I submitted to the service centre, they are just flashing the device with OOS and giving it back.
And the problem still persists.
Can anyone please suggest a solution..

I think I have a similar problem as well... No luck on finding a solution though. During heavy usage, the phone freezes, turns off, and I have to hard reset the phone to get it to boot.

After long calls and requests, finally OnePlus customer care guys talked with the service centre and got my phone repaired. If you want your phone back, you have to keep visiting the service centre iluntil you are satisfied.
This problem is because mother board is corrupted. All you can do is to call and inform OnePlus. They will ask you to visit a service centre. Then the problem keeps on repeating. Then you've to tell them than instead of 5 visits to service centre, the problem still persists. Then they will ask you to call from the service centre and they will talk.
This time, they will repair the hardware level also and boom.. phone is back!!!

Just follow these steps.
1. Call customer care, explain the problem.
2. Go to service centre and submit the phone
3. Check whether the problem is still thesame
4. Go back until they finally give you a better phone

Power Button Lag/Delay?

Every time I press the button to turn the screen on it lags and I have to wait a second or two to turn the display on, any ideas on how to fix it or is it a software thing?
It's really frustrating me, I hope something gets sorted!!
Sorry to hear this. My power button is lightning quick. You might have a defect on your hands there..
It's that bad, sometimes it's quicker to double tap the screen then use the fingerprint sensor to unlock!
Pretty sure it has something to do with the update. Happened on the LG V20 as well
Same Issue
has anyone found a resolution to this? I got my device last week and it has been doing it ever sinse and driving me crazy!. Is it a hardware issue or is it fixed in software? waiting out for the oreo update hoping it will fix it but any help would be appreciated!
Thanks
Have you tried rebooting your phone to safe mode to ensure that no app is interfering?
I have experienced that issue only when I enabled the full immersive mode using ADB.
I have tried safe mode, yes, and the same issue persists, it's not every time the device is unlocked, it's only when it's left for around 2 minutes (it's almost like a deep sleep or something) and what's ADB mode?

ADB or Android Debug Bridge is a command line tool that lets you run commands on your phone from a computer, for installing/unistalling apps, tweaking hidden system settings, etc...
I used it to enable the full immersive mode (basically to hide status and navigation bars). Once I did it, my phone started to behave exactly like you described.
Was your phone having that issue since the first day?
Yes it has been doing it since new

Question phone wont turn on, need help

i was playing a mobile game that has high graphics, when my phone started to showing network private dns not being found error message. also started having a bit of wifi issues, had to reboot to fix it
5min later screen freezes during gameplay and turns black. couldn't do anything. i had to reboot it, but the same thing kept happening over and over again for while. until the last reboot, above the poco logo boot-screen a thick static line showed up and instead of going into the homescreen it stayed black.
can't seem to charge it either, when i connect a usb i don't hear any sounds. what happened? why is this happening
P.S. battery was still high if this needs to be known info, was wired to my pc. also didn't do any updates either.
edit: there are times i hear the boot up jingle when pressing powerbutton, but thats it
edit 2: can connect with usb (hear jingle), but screen is still black
but can you reboot to recovery or bootloader, by holding the right buttons when rebooting. (recovery power + volume up. release power when screen on. bootloader same story but volume down).
The usb port and the display cable are really close to each other. maybe because you kept the usb plugged in while gaming, you created some sort of movement and partly disconnected the display cable.
maybe just maybe your screen going bad because over heat try to call your phone if you could hear the sound yep sounds like your get bad screen and need replacement

It does - phone is garbage imo. Unless u lucked out and got unlocked version of GPU ( Search konabess 870 ) I'd probably sell it / swap it for some 865 device.
Something like mi 10t pro can do 20hours screen on time with right tweaks
First take it for repair - this is hardware issue that they need to fix under Warranty - then figure out what you wanna do with it
it happen to me when trying some pixel oriented roms. the phone itself can charge but the screen always dark, you might be able to feel slight warn on the back. yes its hardware and I change the whole motherboard freely on xiaomi service center

if you feel it vibrate then its probably the screen better take it to a repair shop if you have warranty but dont let them give you a new phone or you'll lose your data
tell them to keep your data
what if its hardware? is my data gone?
depends on the part of the phone if its the motherboard your data is likely to not be restored by the average repair shop

Yesterday my phone kept restarting, and my Sim card wasn't functioning when it did turn on. It wouldn't even power on after a while, had to wait for about 20 minutes and try again. One weird thing I noticed is I couldnt search settings (setting suggestions wouldn't work) I used an air compressor on the Sim card slot with the cover removed and it seemed to help. But I also did some software changes to see if it would help. like turned off memory extension and cleared dalvik cache and cache with recovery. I'm not sure what exactly made my phone function like normal again.
So after about a day the issue starts again, first my Sim card shows up beside my clock with an X through it,the data icon gets grayed out, I will not be able to access the mobile networks option In settings without my phone freezing and a process has stopped responding message ,and my settings suggestions stop working too. I'm just really confused lol, because it seems like software, but the only thing that actually made my phone work like normal again, was removing the Sim card slot and blowing Compressed air into the phone. Simply removing and reinserting the sim card did nothing, but the air helped.
I can't tell if I'm having a software issue, or hardware issue, or I suppose it could also be the sim card itself maybe, but yeah if anyone can shed any light it would be amazing.

I think something is overheating in the phone. I haven't had any issues since it's been a little cooler weather wise, where I live.
Second guess is the phones been "sweating" moving it from hot outside to cool inside ac, maybe created internal moisture condisation. I'm leaning towards mosture because taking Compressed air to the open sim card slot, seemed to be the only thing that worked.
I am wondering if this is something that can be easily repaired (opening phone and resoldering maybe) or at least that's my hope, I really don't have another phone to use if I send this one away to be fixed.
Edit: So it's been a few weeks now and I haven't had any issues.
I downgraded my kernel to previous version (BaalamKernel-2.1.1_alioth vs newest)
And I've been using my phone without its case in hopes it can breathe better or dry out any moisture that built up over time.
Still not sure if it's hardware or software but knock on wood, no issues so far.
