Finally, some inner peace

ThankYou!
Thank you for your contribution! You give 9rt inject new vitality!
Wow, I love this rom, thank you for your efforts, by the way , will it be official?
Hi, thanks very much for this rom, it's really cool that we get this before OnePlus even officially supports Android 12 for the 9RT! I've installed it and after 24 hours of use, i'd say the rom is not ready to be used as a daily just yet. Here is some of the problems I've found, and just general feedback
Major
- There doesn't seem to be any access to the ultrawide camera. No matter what app I've used, default AOSP camera, Ultracam, Gcam etc. It either doesn't show up, or if I head into settings and enable it to show the button (I tried both wide angle and telephoto), the app will instantly crash if I try to switch cameras
- Trying to use any form of "Slo-mo" video mode in any camera app will crash it instantly too
- Fingerprint sensor is extremely unstable. If you're lucky, you can register a finger after about 10 tries. Even after you manage to get your finger registered, in many situations it will fail to unlock the device. It seems like some tuning to the sensitivity of it is required
Medium
- Battery Drain seems to be much higher than OxygenOS 11. On first night of installing, my phone battery died for the first time overnight, from about 35% to 0%. Phone also seems to run hotter overall, even when doing light tasks like video watching. Playing games gets it really hot, like you wouldn't want to be holding the phone near the top metal band. I would say the heat level is above what I would call "Uncomfortable"
- Auto screen brightness seems to be all over the place. And when it messes up, it messes up very suddenly. The screen can instantaneously become very bright, or very dark, even in a controlled indoor environment. When this happens, it does not even seem to sync up with the brightness control slider in notification tray. When it happens, I would just have to tap the brightness control exactly where it was, to "reset" the brightness setting back to normal.
- Haptics seem to have be downgraded. In OxygenOS, haptic feedback used to feel like a single "pulse". On this rom, it becomes a buzzing feeling, like a vibration motor from a really old device
Minor
Some UI positions are a little off.
- When you lock the screen, there is a very cool animation of the light "shrinking" into the power button. Unfortunately, it seems like the position is a little off. It goes a little higher than it should, almost going into the alert slider instead.
- Sometimes, the battery status text at the bottom of the AOD will go too far down, and gets cut off by the bottom of the screen
Also finally as a question, are there plans for this rom to get OTA updates? Thanks!
Update on observations
The Battery Drain issue is worse than I initially thought. After spending time to ensure that my background apps aren't the culprits for the horrible sleeping battery drain, in the next night with the phone sleeping, I lost about 6% battery per hour. According to the battery usage statistics, there is 0% usage by my apps, and they are all system apps. The breakdown overnight is as follows:
33% - Android OS
17% - Android System
11% - Phone idle
10% - WAKELOCK
2% - Mobile network
According to these numbers, my phone can only last about 16 hours idling, without any screen on time!!
Waiting for an update on this

The phone then reboots to the Qualcomm Crash dump screen which I sorted with the fastboot oxygenOS rom but I always get that when trying to install Pixel Experience
How can I flash OOS 12.1, is the same way as "fastboot -w update filename.zip"?
It's been three months since the release of the first build. No new builds planned in the near future? The device is really not bad, it's a pity that there are so few custom firmware for it I think my old realme x2 pro phone with a custom lineage os rom worked a little better than 9rt with oxygen.
Will there be a PE update?
There's too many bugs and temps are too hot with good ambient. Hopefully OP can give us an update.
I am having some problems with the mic. I don't know what logs to show, or what to report. But the mic had 80% volume (then usual) in sim calls (normal calls). And has 20% volume (like really low) in facebook messenger calls, audio recording, video recording. I tried a few magisk mods, but no luck
mic works perfectly with google assistnat tho, it listens to my command even if im super quiet

BatteryWarner is designed specifically for my battery mod [MOD] Battery White Circle, increments 1%, ARHD x & other x.x based ROMs
which indicates remaining battery power from 15-100% exclusively in white color - but of course it should work with any other battery or device with Android v. 4.x.
Since i don't wanted to run into low battery without any visual or audible warning, i created this App to notify about remaining battery
power far earlier than the default low battery notifications.
This is for example important if you plan to use your navigation software on a long trip or wanting to hear music for a long time - without a chance to recharge your battery.
Well - now you can ensure that your battery is recharged to the minimum level you need.
Key Features:
BatteryWarner will notify about remaining battery power on a user configurable percentual range between 15-99%.
[*]You can choose a value from this range in 5% percentage incrementation.
Further you can select a reminder interval (in minutes) to notify when remaining battery power is equal or lower than the selected notification level.
[*]There is an option to adjust a time span you don't want to get warnings, for example at nights...
You can prevent getting warnings during phone calls by selecting the checkbox option "Do not notify during phone calls".
In this case warnings will be interrupted during phone calls. It will resume a few minutes after detecting a finished phone call.
[*]On the checkbox option "Use notification sound (Otherwise vibrate)" you can set if you want to get warned by default notification sound or vibration.
BatteryWarner predicts the estimated recharging time either for your chosen percentual notification level or until fully recharged when plugged.
I implemented an algorithm which calculates the recharging time basing on each particular device, since i noticed the recharging capabilities differing from device to device.
[*]BatteryWarner service does not monitor battery state via ACTION_BATTERY_CHANGED when unplugged, since this would eat up your battery.
BatteryWarner does not require root privilegs.
Screenshots:
Description of the battery bar at the bottom of this App (also check the About/Help in menu within App for more information):
The blue mark indicates the remaining battery power.
The red mark indicates the threshold of the selected percentual notification level. It's only visible if remaining battery power is lower than the selected notification level!
The green mark indicates the procentual range until fully recharged. It's only visible if remaining battery power and selected percentual notification level are lower than 100%!
Updates / Changelog:
Please uninstall v.1.0.3 beta before installing newer versions (Always install the latest version)!

Please note:
The visual layout was designed for HTC ONE X - so it may happen, that the visual layout does not fit when using other devices.
Please let me know if something is going wrong with BatteryWarner!
Since I am from Germany it would be nice, if some native speaker helped me to correct this App description here on this thread and the English texts within the App.
You can PM me if you are willing to help me.
Thanks in advance!

Damn - I've waited so long for this.
Never ever forgetting to recharge.
Oh my God, its really awesome! :victory:
Thanks man.
Work great on ARHD18.0, really good job brush2! Only one question is this background application and work all the time, or check the battery from time to time and notify if the battery is below of chosen value?:good:

Hi Thant,
i made it a background service which checks the battery level 4 times per hour (via AlarmManager) - if the remaining battery level is "way higher" than the user adjusted percentual value.
If remaining battery level is almost as high as the user adjusted percentual value, it checks more often (10 times per hour) to ensure it can warn as soon as possible regarding low battery.
So it's max. 4 seconds per hour "active" and shouldn't influence the battery level noticeable.

brush2

Also, the nightlies support LVM for partition remapping, which allows the two internal data partitions (/sdcard and /data) to be merged into one that uses emulated storage for /sdcard (Android's standard method for ICS and later). Details can be found at http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=55081626&postcount=546 . LVM is significantly safer than other partition remapping solutions as it does not actually alter the underlying partition table. As a result, switching layouts is MUCH faster than methods which remap the partition table, and switching layouts is more reliable and doesn't fail in strange and difficult-to-repair ways (such as the frequent failures of another solution that can be seen in the ColorOS 2.0.2i beta thread). There's a good chance Oppo will be switching over to this method with a future ColorOS release, especially after their experiences with 2.0.2
For historical reference, I will leave the pre-nightly test builds in the Downloads section of this thread. However, these are now obsolete.

Omni only supports TWRP recovery, use any alternate recovery at your own risk. Official TWRP for this device is:

Anyone flashing this should know the usual installation drill... Flash in recovery, flash gapps, wipe data/factory reset. If you don't know how to do these things, this package is not yet ready for users like you.

Current status as of 05/20/2014:
GPS works
Wifi works
Cellular radio works (data and voice calls)
Basic camera/camcorder functions work
Bluetooth works (tested with Google Glass and an OBDKey)
Sensors work (except for Google Camera Photosphere - see below)
Audio is flaky - Mic does not work in speakerphone calls (earpiece only) and headsets with microphones cause the audio HAL to barf. There are probably a number of other use cases where audio doesn't work well. Confirmed working are Google Play Music, Google Maps, earpiece calls, Bluetooth calls via Google Glass (Mic in speakerphone/headphones may be fixed in the 5/30 build - won't test until tomorrow.)
Not yet implemented (need to get the basics done first, these shouldn't be too hard since maxwen did them all on N1)
Screen-off gestures for music
"Hey, Snapdragon" voice wakeup - gotta talk to xplodwild about this
Superzoom mode (I'm about halfway there, it's in the 5/30 build but crashes when you take a shot, so effectively isn't really there...)
Known issues:
Rare spontaneous reboots due to the WCNSS firmware crashing (1-2 times/week for me)
Magnetometer (compass) gets "Stuck" if you use Google Camera
LPM (charging when device is off) is broken - device may charge but screen gets stuck on at the Oppo logo. (may sometimes happen when rebooting on charger)
Woot!
Here we go!

Does VOCC Charging works now?
Also, 3-ring headsets do not work (ie like the headset that came in the box).

Since 7a also use F3 for double tap it should be as easy as adding
<bool name="config_offscreenGestureSupport">true</bool>
to framework overlay
whats also the same is circle -> F4
the rest (F5 - F9) is different to the other oppos - actually we might need to filter them
out at the moment until we add support in the framework for them

BTW, what was the story behind https://github.com/omnirom/android_...mmit/0f6126a18e85e254d15421751abe78939beab1fd - were you getting a bunch of input event spam waking up the device during suspend? That's a problem I'm periodically seeing on this device.

Thats a little help to the "ear opening notification bar on call problem"
on the F5 it can take up to 500ms from screen off because of proxy
sensor until TS suspend is done - this filters out events during that time.
Its kinda hacky and doesnt solve the issue all the time but
better then before and little effort and risk.
We dont have the issue on the N1

Wasn't that a different patch?
I'm seeing a problem where the device gets stuck wakelocked processing lots of input event spam from somewhere, or it's not properly flushing the key event queue. It's intermittent - sometimes it's absolutely fine, other times it just goes nuts.

LOL I was to much ahead and imagined another change you might
also find at some point
This one is actually obsolete AFAIKS since there is a check
for is_tp_suspended on top of the function. Think this is a "leftover"
for our properitary S2W impl that has been obsoleted

That's actually a bug and not supposed to happen. Since we don't have a navbar the gestural navigation is pretty broken. Switch to 3 button navigation and it should be okay then.

You can use google camera app for better result. and as for battery life, i posted my results below. just about 1 hour on 4G data and the rest on wifi. Mostly used discord.
Also is it just me or the speaker volume sounds really low?
I installed it smoothly but there are some errors
* the call sounds low (opposite sound speaker)
* speaker speech is low
* the notification sound is low
* device crashed twice (Volume - + Home + Power Reset)
* Samsung video call not working
* battery consumption is high

hello for sharing your experience I tested LOS 17 but it is not stable enough too much random restart and it is not in official status which is not good for Safety so I stay on pixel expérience 9 version stable , magisk + exposed with safety it's ok ???
been using the rom for almost 2 days now. i didn't experience a single app crash or a random reboot.
first of all thank you so much for your hard work to get Android 10 to relatively old devices. I've been using this room for the past two days, I've experience some issues.
1. while in a phone call using (What's app, Messenger) the audio comes out of the speaker only. not sure if its an issue from my side or the rom (note that I've never experienced this issue while using other roms)
2. not really related to the rom but i'm trying to find a working version of google camera for Android 10 (Exynos) but no luck, would love if you guys can point me to the right direction.
Nice ??
Thank you for that amazing rom!
For me the audio levels are very good, I put audio sliders for all options to max and it's loud af.
Audio coming from speaker this might be problem coming from audio routing, I personally don't have that problem.
All I want now is to install magisk, YT Vanced and PROPER camera app, stock one is really bad

I think all android 10 roms have low sound problem. I keep using android 9 LightRom
Attention!
Don't use "Samsung 4k60 Camera Mod" module for Magisk, after install and reboot... I stuck in bootloop ;/
I had to re-install the rom.
Any ideas to unlock the cam? It's locked to poor 1080p -.-
Some struggle to boot the room... How long did the reboot into the system take ? I m stuck on the google logo since 10 min now...

This is one of the few custom roms that supported aliothIN out of the box with Official tag. It runs smoothly without any major hiccups with its Initial build. Kudos to the dev. hope to see more refinements made in the device side changes.
wow wow wow look who is here !! this is the best rom on performance !thank you very much
Thanks for the ROM, it's smooth and fast af, but unfortunately has the same issues as 90% aosp roms for alioth.
1. Auto-brightness works with a huge delay when you take the phone out of the pocket in a bright sunny place. Screen is at minimal brightness for about 3-4 seconds. Plus the maximum brightness doesn't seem to be as high as on MIUI-based ROMs, and even the auto-brightness seems to be set for lower values all over the scale.
2. NFC only works for GPay, for any other app (when approaching a transport or bank card) the NFC module starts turning on and off on its own, like in a loop.
3. Headphones do not work via 3,5mm-to-usb. ROM recognizes it and opens the in-built Moto equalizer, but no sound at all.
I also tried flashing the boot.img and vendor_boot.img from Arrow OS ROM (it has 2 and 3 issues working). This solved the headphones issue, but the NFC did not start working.
Waiting patiently for the devs to solve these problems, thank you in advance.

Oh I did not know that, but anyway thank you, Havoc still combines a big variety of settings and great stability, very rare among custom ROMs)
The additional UI options and ambient features are indeed nice.
I'll stay with Arrow for now and keep this one on my watchlist.
Bluetooth connectivity sucks
helloo.. I press run and the console closes. any idea?

Sounds like a Windows driver issue. Open a terminal and type fastboot devices. The majority of the ROM flashing is done once it's flashed boot and vendor_boot and rebooted into fastbootd. This is usually where people have driver issues
I'm quite happy with the phone and Havoc so far.
Not sooo happy with the Kernel yet. Although, I like the standby drain, but it looks like the active drain is way higher than with Quantic Kernel. Furthermore the adaptive charging does not work at all.
The last time charging was more than 5 days ago. The battery is now at 14 %. SOT: more than 10 hours. Nice
This is a great rom, but why can't it enter doze mode, so that the standby power consumption is quite exaggerated, how to solve this problem?

Did you flash Quantic Kernel?
If yes: Flash back to Havoc Kernel.
If not: Try to find out which (system) apps prevent sleep mode / keep the device awake. For example, with BetterBatteryStats.
On my device deep doze works like a charme...

It does.
Please uninstall any custom kernels or magisk mods or any mods
When I get a call, the earpiece doesn't work (it's completely muted). I can't hear the person I'm talking to. Only when I turn the loudspeaker on and off again does it work.
When I initiate the call, everything's fine...
Can someone confirm this behaviour?
I faced another 2 issues:
1. After I charged the phone for the 2nd time without rebooting, the kernel seems to have a problem because it keeps the device awake. 11 h after full load the kernel kept the device awake for more than 7 h. After these 11 h, the battery level dropped to 79%, with only 1 h SOT. A single app was allowed to stay active in the background (foobar2000). Exactly 4 things appear in the overview of the "app suckers" that kept the phone awake: Kernel (7h), foobar2000 (1h), Android System (6min), Phone services (1 second). I don't understand what's going on here.
2. The other problem is the proximity sensor. If I don't lock the phone manually when I'm talking to someone, my ear is constantly "operating" the phone. However, I don't think this was a Havoc-only problem, but affected all OS, right?

Yeah we're having problems with that on AICP. It's either the dialer or the device tree not working properly with AOSP dialer. Google dialer or another dialer should work though

Sound like an amazing rom, gonna test tdy
So far so good! Got the phone rooted, payment apps are working, and performance is amazing. Tons of customization scattered throughout the settings. The optimized charging in the battery settings is extremely useful as I normally have my phone plugged in when I go to bed. However, I have noticed that the battery percentage doesn't decrease by each percent but by multiple percentages, is it just me? Overall, amazing ROM. gotta compare the battery to Lineage and Crdroid, but so far, a very promising daily driver ROM.

How was the haptic feedback ?

MB I COMPLETELY FORGOT. Yes, I noticed that the amount of haptic feedback when changing volume, alert slider modes, brightness, etc. was much more intricate than other ROMs such as lineage and crdroid. For example, there is a buzz and vibration for each level changed when changing volume (which other roms don't have).

Nice. It's exclusive to nameless rom and we have a lot of haptic customisation in sound and vibration setting
Heats alot. Even when the phone is idle, heats alot when using Google maps , can't even put the phone in my pocket.

I think that's an exaggeration, but I have noticed that sometimes, the phone does get warm on idle. Not really a problem for me because I live in the north.

Use Google maps navigation and experience yourself.im giving feedback so the Dev's can improve
Otherwise everything is super fine,no bugs no glitches everything flows super smooth.and the haptics are at another level.

DRM L1.. thats something the other roms couldnt achieve on A12 firmware.
Nice work!
Hi :chandu dyavanapelli
I am currently testing new Nameless ROM for 7T Pro hotdog, where can I report the bugs?
the telegram group is closed for new users!
I also saw that they are looking for testers?
THANKS
my remarks :
- Battery drain !?!..... and % not -linear ex :94.. 88...83 etc...
- On lock screen : Photo (gallery) message : force to close (sometimes) when open caméra app (but work)
- battery usage monitor don't dysplay app usage (only screen usage)
- Stay On with face unlock : camera open en close for check face but with or without face détected mobile goes into standby
voila for first reporting it's minor

Could you tell me how to get L1? Either I am unlocking the bootloader incorrectly or something because it's always downgrading to l3 when I unlock OOS12.
