[HELP!] Conditions and temp showing as "Unknown" and "??"

I have been using Zooper pro forever now and I made the widget shown in this photo a few months ago and it worked fine, all of the data was shown including the current condition and temp, but for some reason or another it just shows "unknown" for the condition and "??" for the temp.
I have done everything I can think of to fix this issue, including changing the weather provider, checking my location settings and making sure they were set to GPS, wifi and cellular data and I've even gone so far as uninstalling and reinstalling Zooper to try to fix this.
Anyone know what would cause this and how to fix it?

I thought its broken, because i really often change and test different Roms.
i changed weather provider in Zooper Settings from yahoo to Yr.no including update weather information and that works on me.
Tried to change back, but yahoo and openweather dont work on me... So now i use Yr.no and it works

Having problems here too for adding a new location. Each time I use the search, it just shows up 'not found' , even the larger cities. Can't seem to get it to work anymore on all of the services, yahoo, open weather nor yr.no. The location I had set up though, seems to work fine.
Does anyone know if this is going to be updated? From my understanding yahoo is not available anymore, but i had been using open weather, which worked just fine for me.
btw - I'm getting a timeout error on openweathermap.org, maybe that has something to do with it?

The only provider that even kind of works for me is yr.no, but when I selected that provider it showed the current condition as "Tornado", so I don't think it's accurate at all.

I found this on the zooper website. It just says to try other weather providers and if that doesn't work to wait for upcoming updates. How long should we wait? The app hasn't been updated in over a year (March 12, 2015)

Strange thing here though. It seems that on my tablet, i can still add new locations. I have no idea why and why not on my phone.

Well, I just upgraded my phone to Android 6.0 and now it's working for the default weather provider. Weird.

Does Zooper need all location methods to be tuned on to work, like GPS, WiFi and Mobile Networks?
I alaways use location: GPS only, because of battery saving, but this can not be done and have Zooper widget working?
For me it looks like I need to use all, but why is this?

The Developers have stopped updates for the app and it is a problem at their end, if you paid for the app, you can request a refund as it is faulty and not what you paid for.

I have recently noticed that when I set location in Zooper widget, only Yr.no works now for weather information. It's not often I choose a widget with weather info and location but today I did. Before I used to use Open Weather map and the weather used to show up fine for the given location. Now it only shows "Unknown" and "??". The same applies for Yahoo!
I'm guessing it's because I'm using a newer phone than previously and it's not supported. Plus the fact that Zooper isn't get updated by the developers.

Hey,friendss I just solve the problem if u r also facing the issue of weather unknown and temp. ? Then change youe weather provider,i had change it to yr.no and within a second problem had solved .

Except that yr.no is always showing I'm having a tornado lol

Changing the weather provider to yr.no worked for me also. Thanks for pointing it out guys.

Thank you for the OP on this thread - found a solution to my issue by changing provider to yr.no.

Have the same problem & been having this problem 4 a while now... Sucks bc it's made me abandonen zooper all together switching to KWGT... I can also get the weather to show with yr.no BUT it dosent display the correct info. I can also add a location but it dosent save it... it also has some location already in there like India or some **** says it's 89° & sunny right now... I live in Cali & it's about 45° and 45min to 12am... LoL

Problem with "Tornado" fixed
Good news guys, I found a solution in German Forum how to replace the Word "Tornado" with actual weather conditions.
All Credits go to this: Guy!
If you want to get rid the word "Tornado" simply edit the Text and adjust the german words in your language (with google translate) and it will show the actual weather conditions!

Is there an alternative to Yahoo CM Weather Provide since it isn't working properly for me (It doesn't find my location with gps and not when I try to set it manual)

No marketplace in tablet "Themes" app (SHT-W09)

Received my M5 8.4 yesterday and am loving the hardware. Not keen on the default EMUI theme, so popped into the "Themes" app to change it. All I see are the half dozen or so "local" themes. A quick Google shows that the phone version of the "Themes" app includes a marketplace, that seems to be missing from my M5 tablet version.
True of others with the M5? Is it an app thing, or a regional thing, or the fact that they've yet to create any tablet specific themes for download?

You can load any themes from other emui based devices, just copy the .hwt file to the Huawei/Themes directory, and it shows up in the themes app as the local themes do.
Plenty of themes in the Mate 9/Mate 10 forums, as well as the Huawei themes website.

I modified a theme to suit my own needs... (Black settings, Calendar etc)
You can also load fonts the same way.
I will share any themes I end up making, when they are completed.

Yes it disappeared when Emui 9 was launched, quite stunned they could just remove it and not give a link or info as to where they can be found now, If anyone finds out let us know.

If you open the most up to date version of the themes app, under settings somewhere you can change locale to other countries - when you do that the themes start appearing in vast quantities depending on the setting. Both paid and free themes and wallpapers. Seems the UK locale has nothing associated with it though.

What version of the app are you using?
I cannot see any 'settings' option in the themes app, my version is 8.0.0.353

I've got 9.0.4.302. At the bottom of the app, you have a "me" button, then scroll down to get the location option.
App was updated from within itself, possibly after a firmware update.

Can someone please create a Black Theme?
If i use a Black Theme for phone on the Tablet there will be a ugly white beezel in the settings

It might depend on where you live. I'm in the US and on my last 3 Huawei phones including this one there was no marketplace in the theme app and no option to change the region within the theme app or any other Huawei stock app. Huawei Cloud and Huawei's app store also haven't worked on any of these phones and there is no way to change the region for either of them either.

I was able to access the location setting in the theme app using QuickShortcut Maker which I was using for something else--somebody suggested that turning off WiFi Calling which was enabled but with the setting hidden might fix the problem some of us on T-Mobile in the US are having not receiving calls or texts.
I remember seeing this setting before in the theme app, possibly on my P20 Pro but it doesn't actually let me change the region to anything other than United States. I think the region locks during phone set-up for people in the USA because I haven't been able to change the region in any Huawei system apps on my last 3 Huawei phones. Doing that might work in Europe because of rules in the European Union.

Wearable widgets app working on Galaxy?

While I am waiting for my Galaxy, has anybody tried the older Wearable Widgets app for S3 on the Galaxy, and its phone companion app? Not sure why Samsung refused further store entries and hence development of this at first sight genius concept...bluetooth streaming regular Android widgets to the app face. wherever it is that you setup your samsung account - as the service uses samsung account customisation services -eg Im in UK so i only see UK cards
it also depends on how many apps/services that support the services you got downloaded
eg: you dont have netflix or spotify - you wont see those cards
you dont have the weather channel app - you wont see that card etc

HI,
I recently got S20Ultra and hating every second of it. But not gonna rant aboout that here.
I also have the same issue with Daily. I tried contacting samsung for help but I think that I talked to a robot because all answres were super idiotic and not related to my question.
I used something like Daily on a Huawei P20Pro and I guessed it works like that..but nooo (this is the worst overpriced phone I have ever used). Software is horrible. (last rant )
In my Cards list I only have Netflix, upday news, Galaxy Store/Themes, GIPHY and Instant games.. so only default cards that came out of the box.
I have no way of seeing any other cards in that list, I tried installing spotify, flipboard but it does not show on the card list.
Customization services are enabled and I tried looking through some settings or Samsung apps if I can change something but failed to find anything I might need to setup differently.
Also about Upday news. it only shows UK news and some default interest although I installed the app and setup my location and interests there. It all works in app but cards are always only UK.
I live in Serbia BTW.
