I'm coming from a Oneplus 3, i really like this phone(i've tryied s8) but i'm not sure because of modding barriers like locked bootloader and knox counter

Nah!!! Sticking with the best phone...One Plus 5t....

If it doesnt come with the OEM unlock issue the note 8 has (talking about exynos, i dont waste money on crapdragon versions) i will get one.
If it does then ill pass on it like i did not on the note 8.

In all likelihood I'll be going to the S9+ from the Essential PH-1. The Essential was a terrible choice for me but I couldn't justify over $1000 for a pixel 2XL. I'll likely get the S9+ through my carrier. I've gotten quite used to stock Android over the years so a skinned version on the Galaxy will be different. We'll see....

I'll be getting the S9+ at the beginning of 2019, when the price starts to decrease a little. I'll be upgrading from my S7 Edge which just turned a year old few weeks ago.

Dont do it.
I got a S8+ last december and i regretted it. battery was the worst (3,5-4h sot max) and the software lag too annoying. samsung is good for the first 6 months, then they begin to age rapidly
everybody knows that so i had sell my s8+ for a lot less than i bought it for. got me a mate10pro, happy now.
if u want s9 so badly, try to look for second hand around 2 months after launch... i think thats the better choice if you still want to experience the high

I would have to agree on the first part, where Samsung's software does not age beautifully most of the time (my S7 edge thankfully is still running well and has maintained it's fluidity even after a year). Samsung still needs to learn to prioritise on optimisation IMHO. They focused wayy to much on the UI/UX till they forgot about the core system itself.
And yeah. I might also consider going for a second hand S9+ if the reviews don't go according to my expectations. I'll be waiting for MKBHD's (popular tech guy) review and will be watching it the moment it becomes available.

I will agree, upgrading from a s7e is useless, the only reason that can be is a little more processing power, but still it isn't enough, and s7e for me too is running smoothly although there had been issues with build quality, but i really don't think mate 10 is more in performance than s8, maybe in other areas like ui etc it could be. I will pass on s9 and wait until there is a phone with real upgrade not some marketing gimmicks.

True, the mate10pro has exceptional battery life as well as lag free UI though. Before s8 I had a huawei Nexus 6p, had great battery life too (got warranty replacement after 1.5 years with fresh battery) so the s8 kinda feld like a downgrade.
I think the CPU speed is highly overrated nowadays and does not make a real impact on everyday use. (Apples Chip ist supposedly 2x faster than 835 but does the iPhone feel 2x faster?
All in all I upgraded for the bezelless screens... Anything else my Nexus 6p was almost as good at.
Anyone else who has a 2016 flagship (s7e or mate 9 or iPhone 7) should not upgrade for another reason than the larger screens... Anything else in the new phones has only improved a little and does not justify the price in my opinion (unless having the latest tech is part of your lifestyle)

Agreed , but iphone 8 and X is almost 2x faster in real life too, so yes cpu power does impact in real life, search for their app loading times and video editing times on web, the fastest android phones were note 8 and then s8, they were lagging almost 1.5x.
And yes mate 10 got excellent battery life too thanks to its 4000 mah battery, i think every phone should have atleast 4000 mah battery these days,

Well I don't know anyone who is editing video on his phone... That's what I mean with everyday a friend friend of mine has iPhone 8 and it doesn't feel significantly faster in my opinion, it's more about ram keeping apps for running (so you don't actually need to look for launch speed) and internet speed
Yes I think the biggest Upgrade in the future needs to be bigger batteries in order to keep up with the screens and all the other new stuff

You know I have the s7 edge since release, it is still a beast. Can handle any game on the play store, lags here and there. But dont thing upgrading is worth it imo. Maybe when foldable phones come lol

Which custom rom & kernel developers will be getting the S9/S9+ ?

I think i would be upgrading because this sounds like a perfect replacement for iphone-7. As for performance , I think it depends individual to individual on his config and usage patterns. There are 3 galaxy phones in my house including an aging s6 edge and all seem to be working fine.
Yes, its hard to match iphones in their speed and zero-lag but there are so many trade-offs that purchasing a iphone ahead of a s9 or a note-8 is not a worthy option.

I'm on Galaxy Note 4 and LineageOS 14.1. UHD video recording is not working and I need it. Better low light performance too on S9+. I don't like the curved glass though. I'd also much rather take a removable battery over any kind of IP rating but gotta move along with the times, I guess. I don't undertsand the all-glass exterior idea at all - it's slippery and a protective case is a must, adding to the cost.

Definitely getting an S9 as long as there's no down payment on Jump on Demand. On a v30 now, and the thing is just crap. It stutters - literally. As in the sound stutters and I have to reboot to fix it. It also has all kinds of lag on bluetooth stuff. 8 years on Android and never had anything this bad. Going back to Samsung and not looking at LG for a long time again.

I will stay on my S8 for now... S9 designed so bad... ?

I wouldn't buy a US or Canadian version, the bootloader's will be locked again...total waste of money.
Go exynos for sure, the OEM unlock issue is a helluva alot better to have than have the device be totally locked down.

Switching from Galaxy Note 5 to Mi Max 3. Wise Decision?

Hello Friends,
I am a currently using Samsung Galaxy Note 5. Love the phone EXCEPT the battery. in terms of Screen-On time, It hardly lasts for 3.5 hours. I use my phone a lot and have to charge it 3 to 4 times a day. Moreover, there is no SD card slot and am hanged with 32 GB storage ONLY.
I was in market looking for a new phone by replacing note 5. Things I want in new phone:
a) bigger screen
b) bigger battery
c) Dual sim
d) SD card support
e) Ram over 4 GB
f) Camera with OIS
g) Under $300
h) S-Amoled Screen
Now it ticks many boxes except point F and H. I am huge on camera. I love taking pics and videos. The lack of OIS is sorta deal breaker for me but IF the camera works really well without it, I can live.
Anyhow, I want your suggestions, moving from Galaxy Note 5 to Xaomi, is it a wise decision?

100% wise decision. Order 6gb/128gb variant with xiaomi.eu rom from TradingShenzhen (theirs is the one with least headache and hiccups), and I'll walk you through the process. We have excellent camera and even better quality with camera2api enabled via magisk(root) for Google camera.

I was planning to get it from Dubai. I am visiting there in January. I hope to get it under some deal(s).
You think the price will be even more stable (drop) by Jan?
And by the way, my experience with non-flagship phones has been bizarre. I mean after 1.5 years their parts start failing like microphone etc. I mean companies use really mediocre parts for non-flagship phones.

Dubai is overpriced. I'd avoid the wait and order online and have it in a few days. That's just me. Prices will stay around the same. They've hovered around $300-350 US for some time. No issues with this phone so far. No complaints either from month long users. Xiaomi is on another level. My bro has a mi book pro that is running flawless. It's all in how you care for your products. I would never recommend anything bad to anyone especially if not owning or wanting it for myself. I'm a heavy user from rooted Note 8 to rooted Mi Max 3. Absolutely no regrets.

Coming from a Note 4 ( destroyed it by accident) The thing that strikes me most is the good build quality and the brightness of the huge screen.The screen quality also seems very good compared to an amoled screen. Obviously no stylus support on it.The Camera seems good in the light, but needs to be improved in the dark...to much noise.However there are options with the Camera app to have manual control or install the Open Camera app.Screen on time using that 5500mah is also very good....just make sure you've got large hands and large pockets

Im realy happy with the phone
The battery life is very good , i only got like 5-6 hours screen on time , but please note im using it outside with mobile data , bluetooth gps always on and the sreen is nearly max brightness, the S G note 4 lasted 1-1.5 hours with the same settings / apps
Call quality is good
Camera is way better thn my S G note 4

The ringtones and notification sound are not that loud as the S G note 4
Size wise its a big and heavy phone but you know what , couple of years ago when i bought my S G Note 4 i said and my friend said the same :laugh:

Looking to upgrade

Hello. I’ve been looking to upgrade to the Note 10+ and a lot of you see to hate it. Should I be worried? Should I look in another direction? I am looking for a beast phone where the battery can hold for a full day, good camera and big screen. What options do I have?

Especially if you are coming from note 9, you are going to miss headphone jack, iris scanner and heart rate /SpO2 sensor.
Apart from that you might face trouble playing m4a files through Samsung Music app.
That's what I don't like about my note 10+. Other than that love everything else.

believe me you don't go wrong i forget every phone i had use before mi9t and pocof1 and huawei mate 10 pro and note8 and mi mix and every phone before now i use note 10 plus exynos and I don't lesson to any one every thing is excellent battery performance camera and quality

I was Apple user, but then I realized, that Apple isn't like years ago, when Keynote event was my second christmas and new iPhone was something special. Today I have Note, so I have phone with a big beautiful screen, lot of power, I can have a PC and lot of other things. So, few negatives: battery life, problems with Google backup, no notification LED (you can use AOD notify, and everything is perfect), that fingerprint senzor is something like Russian roulette, it's 50/50, but after few updates, it's getting better. Maybe there not 3,5mm Jack, but I'm using wireless buds, so who cares. For me, the biggest problem is that battery life.. I'm from Europe, so I have Exynos chip and if u using phone for work, few videos, mails, it's not even full day of the using, so am charging through the day. This is all I think. You need to know, what is the best for you, but Note 10 is not a bad choice.

The games I play perform well, productivity is a breeze with the massive screen, S pen and 'DeX'.
You can customise it to your hearts content, cavernous and speedy storage, great cameras, great connectivity.
What you need to understand is that most people on these forums aren't your average consumer, therefore expectations are likely higher, the same is true of other device forums. So you'll find people *****ing on the 'OnePlus', 'Sony', 'Nokia'....... forums about those devices and possibly conclude that they hate their devices too.
The truth of the matter is that these forums exist in the main, for people to seek advice on issues they're facing with their devices, which can lead to a perception of negativity.

I have been switching around from Samsung to iPhone. I am looking for a device that I can use to its full potential for the long run. I will not be using the Samsung Music App since I use either YouTube or Soundcloud for music.

I am currently using the iPhone X 256GB Verizon Unlocked due to the better hardware that the iPhone provided out of all the carriers. I am close to owning it to 2 years now. I too felt the same way about the keynotes from Apple, they were so awesome and always waited on the new and big devices but now? MEH. I am an IT person and just want something I can use on a daily basis that can do more than the iPhone. What exactly is so bad about the battery on the Note 10+? Also, if I do go with the Note 10+, what version should I get? Im asking more in depth about chip differences.

Can you elaborate more on the Exynos? I don't quiet know what it is.

There's nothing wrong with the Note 10 + in my opinion except for the fingerprint scanner is small and a little slow but everything else seems good. It's also not even close to being worth $1100 to me. I alternate each week between my OnePlus 7 Pro and Note 10 + and there isn't that much difference between the two in day to day use. If I were you I'd try and get one that was lightly used for around $800-850 or wait till the price drops. I got mine from eBay for $899 (SM-N9750/DS model) and it has been good so far but it's definitely not head and shoulders above other flagships and the screen is brighter on my OnePlus 7 Pro.

Look.. If you are looking for daily phone, you can keep your IP X. You know, I'm using phone for almost all day, because of work and all these staffs, so battery life is max 1 day, but I'm sales representative, so I'm different kind of user. But if you just REALLY NEED new daily phone, go for it. Note is very special device, with tons of useful features. If you really looking for upgrade and IP 11 is not your favorite, Note is perfect choice.

Seen that you are coming from IPhone x, you won't miss anything apart from the timely software updates. However Samsung has become pretty good with android security updates these days.
You will be happy with note 10 unless you are an apple fan.

Get the Snapdragon US version unless you're a fanatic about custom ROMs and unlocked bootloaders.
This phone blows the iPhone X out of the water (mostly iOS gets blown away by One UI/Android 9). You can actually multi-task like crazy. Unparalleled screen. Amazing everything. Best phone I've ever used, hands down.
And this does WAY more than the iPhone! DeX, customization, automation, split screen, minimized apps, widgets wherever (Android), etc. It's not even a fair comparison in my opinion because iOS is so restrictive.

General Disappointment the Pixel 6

Well after being excited to get the Pixel 6 Pro with all the hype of best pixel phone in years, i have returned the phone after finding it disappointing. Probably the phone i have been most disappointed with ever, So i have gone back to my Huawei P30 Pro
main issues are battery life, after finding the phone struggling to get through a day on a charge, after googling and finding turning off the 5g and 120hz display improves battery life. WHAT the main features of the phone drain the battery too much, battery life on P30 is 2 days for me constantly (i know peoples usage will vary), but after Lumia phones and Huawei it was like going back to Iphone 3 days barely getting 24hrs on a charge.
also the UI is terrible, how is this an improvement the notification area with the huge tiles take up so much room that you have to scroll to the right to see most of the shortcuts etc. P30 is much more intuitive and fewer steps to do the same action
The Google search bar/ assistant and clock can't be moved or resized so much for customising android, none of these restrictions on P30
Colour theming what a joke to the point of being pointless couldn't pick the colour i wanted and the choice of 4 colour LOL, P30 has a huge colour theming section and is easy pick what colour you want and away to go
You will need a case for the phone it will literally slide off everything, i know a lot pf people fit cases but you wont have any choice with the Pixel 6 or it'll end up in broke
I would go as far to say EMUI 4 was better than android 12 on the Pixel 6, only good point was the camera

Only thing I'd agree with is that Huawei makes some of the best phones and I wish they were sold for US carriers. As for this phone, it's getting better every day for me. Kinda hard to trust a device made literally by the espionage wing of a hostile foreign country...

Colour theming what a joke to the point of being pointless couldn't pick the colour i wanted and the choice of 4 colour LOL, P30 has a huge colour theming section and is easy pick what colour you want and away to go
You will need a case for the phone it will literally slide off everything, i know a lot pf people fit cases but you wont have any choice with the Pixel 6 or it'll end up in broke
I would go as far to say EMUI 4 was better than android 12 on the Pixel 6, only good point was the camera

You really should have waited a bit to try a pure aosp build. I found the google [bloat|spy]ware to be bad enough that I couldn't put my sim card in it because it was completely unusable. Running pure aosp built from source and its like a dream.
Under very heavy use since about 7am this morning (its now after 3), I'm still over 70% battery, including leaving 120hz enabled. Not 5g though, my carrier only has LTE for now.
Some of your complaints don't really matter. The quick settings pane for example is a feature of android 12, not the google build, so no matter who sells you the phone, you'll have that eventually anyway.

i had no where near that battery time, fully charged at 9:00am out on the mtb for 6 hrs with pics on the way normal use after that by 8:00 pm 15%
The UI is just not as intuitive, take restricting apps working in the background pixel you have to go to each app individually, P30 the settings for all apps are on one page, just simpler

After the N20U Samsung released nothing I like and their last really great flagship is the N10+ running on Q.
2021, issues with variable rate displays, 5G and scoped storage galore. The usual Samsung Fold display delamination issues. For flagship SD card support you either got to use older Samsung flagships or go Chinese.
The Pixel Pro seems to numerous rude surprises. OK, maybe it's not horrible but not a flagship level device either... it's ok at best. It's user interface is subpar as usual with no substantial speed advantage to show for it. Why not just get an Apple rather than a Pixel at this rate?
I doubt even Samsung can modify Android 11/12 enough to make it user friendly; Pixel barely tried to fix their nightmare OS.
Small wonder Pixel as such a dismal market share... they earned it.

Note 9 owner
Everyone knows the 10 lineup was literally a downgrade in all the ways literally a minor cpu bump and a 3rd camera.
You lost iris scanner, spo2 ,heart rate , headphone jack and sd card slot on certain models.
It was also the mark of samsung making like 4 3/4 different models of phone which had worse hard ware than previous versions unless you get the top top end.
For example the fact screens on the note10 itself are worse than 9.
It literally started the mark of samsung killing off the note line with the making it a glorified Samsung Galaxy with a pen in which case then note 20ultra is worse that the galaxy 20 ultra in a lot of ways.
It's not even ahead of software updates since the note 10 lite uses the same chipset as the s9/n9 so it's easily ported to them.
So yeah the fact you said that means you literally have no clue on the state of it.
Also you think Samsung will simplify it gl they literally need to make a new ui every year because they can't do it right it's improving but still , if you don't like stock android get different launcher.
At least we know we going to get software support for a long time and direct also support

As you stated in so many posts you have 2 Note 10's so I can only assume that your opinion is pure speculation! Did a clean install and don't have any issues at all. When the Note 20 Ultra first came a lot of members were having issues with it to because of importing data and apps from an old phone, once they did a FDR all the problems magically disappeared! Just saying...........................

I read a lot. The Pixel UI... well each to his own is the best I can say.
The N20U has display issues caused by the variable frequency, the N10+ color rendering exceeds the N20U, S21U and likely the P6pro.
I have extremely good color perception, top 1% so I find color aberrations annoying with displays. The 10+ is near spot on even after two years of heavy usage. I'll do a color test between the new and old one to see how tight the calibration is just for kicks sometime.
The N20U is running on R, enough said.
Some of both have 5G, not worth the increased battery usage. This problem persists in most of the newest devices. Variable rate displays, 5G and especially scooped storage are not mature technologies and continue to underperform.
Stats with pics... or it never happened.
Here's what a stock N10+ Snapdragon/P variant did just today with a 4300mAh battery. About one hour is watching utube vids, the rest browsing. The N10+ isn't even breaking a sweat...

The entire pre-order mess has soured my excitement for the phone. Google showed early November delivery, now shows mid January. It seems to cut costs, Google went with outdated and inferior parts and made some strange sacrifices. Samsung always gives it's competitors last year's display tech. Android 12 feels largely incomplete, much like hipster aesthetics were put before functional changes. I have been excited to get a flagship that has a clean base, can be rooted and built upon, but if the hardware is subpar, it may not be worth it.
With Samsung phones, I've debloated and modded almost every element to my liking without even needing root. Custom themes, custom fonts, custom clock styles and placement, always on display scheduling, ability to hide the navigation bar, and endless GoodLock modules to fine tune the UI are all things stock Android 12 can't do. That said, it's always bugged me that Samsung phones have roughly 300 preloaded system apps, where stock Android has about 100. I'm debating whether to cancel the P6P preorder and wait for the S22 Ultra.

I was comparing my 2 N10+'s, one running on 9, the other 10. The 10 variant has dozens of small apks that show on the package disabler, but they're not bloatware. Samsung deliberately moded Android 10 to make it more user friendly and functional. It runs very well.
The S21 isn't anything I want but it shreds the P6pro.
However both are having display issues. I would at least wait for the dust to settle...
Hold out until Samsung gets their act together again if you can... it may take a year or two. Latter 2022 or perhaps 2023. I wouldn't hold my breath... it may take until 2024 to arise from the ashes of mediocre and lack of features.

Keep in mind you can't unlock the bootloader on recent Samsung phones without breaking the camera completely. I had nothing against them until now but this is major BS on their part.

To be fair, on a Samsung, one doesn't really need root. So much debloating can be done using ADB. Many developers have found ways to utilize Samsung's theme engine and font engine to customize the phone however one prefers. I installed an AOSP theme using Hex Installer that made the UI look 95% stock.

I'm running 2 stock N10+'s using Samsung Galaxy mods, a package disabler, a firewall and heavily optimizing them.
That's all you need... they run great and look/function exactly how I want them too.
No plain Janes here... some assembly required.

Samsung phones are pus*y phones, pardon my language. If you can't unlock the bootloader have any kind of development opportunities, you're just a sheep. Last Samsung phones I had were the Galaxy Nexus and the Note 2. Seems like a lot of Samsung Fanboys here. I get it because we're here to talk about phones, but this is an XDA Development site - Development. It's all about development. So move forth and go forward with your beautiful Sammy phones and enjoy those locked bootloaders!

Stability, functionality, speed and good battery life are all that matters. This "pu$$y" phone in my hand right now has all four, it's current load is over 1.5 years old with minimum maintenance/zero updates.

Question Flaws of the Pixel 6 Pro demonstrated when compared to S22 Ultra

I've used the Pixel 6 Pro on and off since November. For the most part, it has been a very good phone, but after using the S22 Ultra for over 2 months now, I realize how much better the P6P could be. The 5G reception, the charging speeds, and overall stability of the Snapdragon S22 Ultra are vastly superior to the Pixel 6 Pro. To be fair, the P6P has a cleaner software experience, better camera in some respects, and better speakers, but the essentials are done better by the S22U. Like many of us, I had hoped that the P6P would have been the Samsung flagship with stock Android, but it's turning out to have similar problems as the Exynos chips, even down to running warm. There are promises for big things in the June or July update, but each update has brought new bugs. I'm considering just selling the P6P and seeing if the Pixel 7 Pro fixes anything.

My girlfriend has the S21 Ultra, I have the P6P, andddd everyime I grab her phone I am surprised at how smooth it is. Every. Time.

I am getting pretty tired of having to borrow my wife's 22 when I need to make a phone call.

I had the s22ultra SD variant, sold it because if the crappy UI and micro stutters I experienced constantly. Regardless of the hardware, what good is it if the software is still in beta production.
A lot of gimmicky features like bixby, knox, etc.
Samsung has potential but they suck.

there is a 300$ difference between these two phones. the s22 ultra BETTER have the better experience.

I have to say otherwise, my girlfriend has the s22 ultra and I got the P6P, I wouldn't exchange it in a thousand years. Performance wise it stutters, quite a lot, to the point of semi freezing. Charging and battery wise we both get home more or less at same time with same battery, I've disabled adaptive charging tho. The stylus is not that impressive, not good enough for note taking. Everything else is meh, I love the purity of android and came a long way, no need for duplicate apps and super updates! Câmera also so so the same quality on both, but she has clearer night pictures (more realistic), pixel pictures at night seems to overwhelm the colours a bit.

Don't forget the shutter speed, Samsung constantly blurs moving things in pictures whereas pixel has no issue tracking pictures of moving objects and is virtually instant from pressing the button and taking the picture

There is no doubt, in my mind, that the Pixel blows Sammy away in every category, especially camera. But not in signal reception. Unfortunately I need my phone to make and receive phone calls.

I own both and spend time in a fallout bunker. My S22 Ultra and iPhone 13 Pro Max can make calls and text. The P6P has no service. The radio hardware is most definitely the P6P's Achilles heel.

Most reliable radio hardware I've had. Never had service dropped.
I used to have to have Tasker automatically cycle airplane mode whenever service was lost on all my prior phones, which were all Qualcomm flagships.

That's something else too. While picture quality is pretty good, the picture taking experience falls behind.
Hopefully most of the issues addressed can be resolved or mitigated through software updates, I hope, also for my own sake.

I agree with the signal reception. I have been working from home past 2 years, so I haven't had as much time to get frustrated, meaning using it while out and about. But this phone has the absolute worst reception of any phone I have ever owned and finding out just how horrible it is as I start traveling more. I am just outside metro DC area and have a lot of experience with other phones plus friends and family. Why, just why couldn't they have stuck with a trusted chip? Verizon, fwiw. I will eventually switch to something non Google. Other parts work great, but they call it a smartphone, not a camera connection device.

I agree with ya here, however, I'm on T-Mo. So, it's definitely a problem with the modem needing some very specific code changes. But thankfully enough, these changes have finally appeared to happen about a month back on a beta version of the OS. Now, the latest beta for Android 12.1 and the latest beta for Android 13 both contain modem updates that finally make my service more functional and reliable.
The only downside here is that they won't be pushing this update OTA for another month and a half (and it also took them a while to get to this, haha).

That would be fantastic if it really helps. I am in my house right now. My old Pixel 2 XL, Wife's Pixel 4a, my last Pixel 4a5g all had excellent service here. If I turn my wifi off I can't make a damn call. Today I was fishing at a pond that is in the middle of 3 major roads, had zero service. I will wait and see what comes from this. In your opinion, what are you thinking the change is, but I don't know how to ask you to quantify it.

Not sure. But I think that it has something to do with the general code requirements for this modem, as it was notoriously known for having reception problems in the past (as the Samsung S20 international variant used the same modem). It seems that Google was still recovering from the big lawsuit hit that dug into their phone development department's spending power before the Pixel 6 series had gone into production (was around $270M). I'm hoping that they are able to dig their way out of that hole by the time the Pixel 8 series is in production - as that will be around the time I upgrade my phone again, haha =P.

Did a software update solve the S20 problems? I did a quick search but not seeing that exact resolution. If that update in beta right now helps a lot they may save a customer here, but I am not upgrading to a future Pixel if they put a documented problem in this phone and the solution is to upgrade out of the problem.

I have owned both and they are both flawed.
I still have the S22U and ultimately it is IMO the better option. Yes the shutter lag is annoying and OneUI has it’s frustrations too but the flaws on the Pixel are bigger, FPS was a daily frustration (and the ultrasonic FPS on samsung is just better than all optical ones IMO) auto brightness was just dumb and as other have said the radio is weaker.
I am hopeful that lessons will have been learned with the Pixel 7

I have the vanilla S22, same with everyone says, it has micro stutter on the UI frequently, and the usual Samsung not able to capture moving objects. For those reasons, I am moving to Pixel 7 Pro this year.

To be fair, the P6 Pro is in another price league. You compare an Audi A5 to a BMW 7 (significant price difference). That still doesn't excuse, however, the especially weak reception quality and temperature problems (quick overheating under stress) on a P6 Pro. Basic features need to work, full stop. And Pixels struggle with that at times.
