Hi all.
I already asked this question on the Samsung S10e forum without luck. I hope to find some help here, please be patient with me
I have a Samsung Galaxy S10e, model SM-G970F/DS, that is currently running Samsung's official Android 12. LineageOS 18.1 install documentation tells me that Android 10 or 11 is required to proceed with the installation. I don't think it is possible downgrade the phone to Android 11 (correct me if I'm wrong).
What do I risk if I attempt the LineageOS 18.1 installation? How "unbrickable" is this device?
It would be safer to install this LineageOS 19 beta https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...l-you-for-s10e-s10-s10-s10-5g-exynos.4346535/ ?
Thanks in advance for any hint!
I'm long gone from Samsung, but downgrading should be possible with Odin. Quick Google search gave me this guide: https://www.droidwin.com/downgrade-samsung-one-ui-4-0-to-one-ui-3-1/
I recommend using Sammobile for rom download. Should get you started.
Your other questions I have no answer.

Thank you but I think this guide is for the oneplus 3t ond not for the oneplus 3. Do you have a guide for the oneplus 3
hi have you solved it
I can't find any guide for this model (SM-A505GT)
Any help is much appreciated
Also i could not find a full guide for a505f. They all pass some steps. I guess unlocking the boatloader is the first step. But all guides starting with "make sure the oem is greyed out" how to do that. If there were understandable guides stey by step, many people would root. We need guides like explaning a child. 1,2,3.... with all steps. And i see that many people having issues with custom roms. Is it possible to root stock rom ? Android 11 ui 3.1. I just wanna have root access.

Hello,
I have a xz2c with Lineageos17.1 and would like to upgrade it to 19.1
The upgrade instructions (https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/xz2c/upgrade) seems to be for lineageos18.1 (at least in the title), but the description mentions android 10.
Should I be able to follow the instruction with lineageos 17.1?
Or do the instruction refer to the latest official android 10 image? (In this case, where can I find one?)
I am actually not interested in preserving the current environment, so I am willing to do a clean install too.
The wiki, again, mentions android 10 (https://wiki.lineageos.org/devices/xz2c/install), and I am not sure if it with "If the vendor provided multiple updates for that version, e.g. security updates, make sure you are on the latest" it is intended that I should install the latest official android 10 version of the phone manufacturer.
So I am assuming I need to upgrade to the official Android 10 version of SONY.
As I installed LineageOS 17 before this was available, and do not have the possibility to automatically update my phone, I've searched a little bit what I can do.
I found the tool xperifim (https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/tool-xperifirm-xperia-firmware-downloader-v5-6-5.2834142/), which lets me downloads the rom, but I do not know the CID of my phone.
The official guidelines of SONY are specific for the SONY ROM, does anyone know how to query it from LineageOS, adb, fastboot or with another tool?
Or better yet: is it relevant?
I just want to install the newer LineageOS image after all.
Hi, I have a Motorola G7 plus I haven't used in a while. It currently has Lineage 17.1 installed on it. My question is, do version updates have to be installed incrementally? As in, must I update to 18.1 first before updating to 19.1? Or can I safely skip over the 18.1 update and install 19.1?
Also, I saw someone recommend Tiny ADB & Fastboot tools. Is that a reasonable tool to use for a novice level tech person like myself?
Thanks in advance for the advice.

Skipping 18.1 should be OK
Upgrade LineageOS on lake | LineageOS Wiki

Hi
I am currently using a oneplus 5t with lineageos and would really like to upgrade to my Oneplus 7t. I would like to use Lineageos19 on it, but on the official website, there is only lineageos18. Is there a newer version somewhere available?
I would also consider building it myself, but I dont know how to do that. I looked for guides online, but i couldnt find a recent one.
I have been studying computer science since 2017, so I do know a bit about coding but I havent built a custom rom myself
Thanks for your help.
yes you can try to upgrade OnePlus7T with LineageOS.
Or check out these best android os for PC if LineageOS 19 is not available.
Thats not really an answer to my question. I know I can install lineageos on my phone, I was asking for a guide to build lineageos 19 for it, since the official version is still 18
