So I've used MIUI, both global and xiaomi.eu, and also CrDroid custom ROM, all roms in android 11 and 12. What I've observed is that idle power consumption is higher on Android 12, I've used Accubattery but also other apps like Charge Meter to measure current used, and there is around 25-30mA more power used by Android 12, so when I'm doing nothing I can see around 90mA on Android 11 and 120mA on Android 12, both in MIUI or custom ROM, so maybe it's something to do with Android 12 itself, or maybe the firmware used by Xiaomi since Android 12 is just worse.

Hi, I've noticed my battery is discharging quicker after recent MI update. The current MIUI version is 10.3.2. The current Android version is 8.1.0 OPM1.171019.026. When I run Memory cleaning, there are always 200-300 Mb of memory consumed by System apps that gets cleaned up. Is there anybody else to confirm my suspicians?

One of Redmi 5A users from Russian 4pda forum has complained about the same problem that I experience since a new system update was applied. So the problem of quicker battery discharging apparently exists...
in my case hola video accelerator is consuming my battery,
but as I can suggest, oreo base requires more power consumption than its previous nougat.
Yes

So i recently installed havoc 3.5 custom rom, but it drains power pretty fast comparing to stock. At morning i found out it consumed 15 % power overnight even i haven't used it. In stock rom usually it consumed 2-3% overnight. Any way to optimize it? I already use dark mode and battery saver. I really liked this rom with Android 10. But the stock rom is stuck on Android 9 and i heard that xiaomi might not upgrade redmi 6 pro stock room to Android 10.
Is it true that android 10 performance better than Android 11 performance
Hothardware.com said Android 11 performance drops
So do you recommend me staying on Android 10 or Android in terms of performance
Thanks

i tested some A11 roms, the ram usage on some is actually better due to few package
but i faced some unexplained frame drops from time to time (changing kernel also didn't help)
so right now A10 is the way (for ginkgo)

I currently have my MotoG60 on Android 11 and I'm hesitating to update it to 12 after all the negative reviews I've read online.
I would be grateful for an honest feedback on 12 here, mostly on RAM and battery usage changes.
Android 11 RAM usage ranges typically from 2.5GB to 3.1GB out of total 5.9GB (on moderate usage)
Battery lasts great (about 3 days of moderate usage)
A similar comparison on Android 12 would be great!
Very honest feedback is Stay on 11, Until a completely clean update of Android 12 comes.
Install magisk debloter & disable useless apk & and enjoy with your moto g⁶⁰
I am currently considering upgrading to Oxygen 12. However, I have read several times that the battery lasts shorter.
On the other hand, I can find this with all updates on different devices on the net. I suspect that this may be more often also with other use after the update and / or subjective perception.
Therefore, I wanted to ask if there are somewhere real measured values for 7T Pro devices in direct comparison of Oxygen 11 and 12?
EDIT:
Ah, wrong Thread/Forum. Can't change or delete.
