This isn't a solution, but you're not alone (although that link is about Android 11). Note the "answer" at that link isn't really an answer, either, but at least might shed some light on it. Likewise, here's a thread about the same thing on Android 12 on Sony devices.
You'd probably have to report a problem to Google about it, although by the sounds of that first link, Google is trying to encourage companies to upgrade things on their end, which would no longer require that option if they did.

PSA: Android 11 will no longer let you insecurely connect to enterprise WiFi networks
The Android 11 update will break connecting to certain enterprise WiFi networks. Here's why and what you can do to fix it.

Google is so stupid for doing this. They're the only one to do it. I haven't been able to connect to my work wifi for two years now. We're upgrading our wifi in 1-2 years...

Not sure on the domain. That wasn't ever an issue for me.

Solved in Android 13. Certificate validation click "trust on first use" instead of "do not validate" ..
Was waiting for a solution since 2018 and now it is solved with Android 13.

Awesome, just tried it and it does work!

For me when I select "trust on first use" it will connect once, but it won't re-connect automatically. Even if I select the wifi network (I'm using my work/campus network), it won't connect again. I'm experiencing the same behaviour on my OnePlus 9R running a custom ROM based on Android 13. Have you found a fix yet?
My organization's documentation just says to enable the now-removed "do not validate" option. They do not provide certificates to download anywhere.

I just want to check if anyone have found solution to this problem?

Yes I did find a fix, although it's a bit mysterious. If I select "use system certificates" my phone will connect to the wifi network and re-connect automatically. I swear I tried that before and it didn't work, so perhaps something was updated, either the network or Android.

Hello guys, I am having trouble on my Zuk Z2: I switched it on this morning and I got notified that a software update is available. I tried to download it several times but the phone always failed to do that and a message appeared stating that I wasn't connected to the internet, while on the contrary I am regularly connected to my Wi-Fi network and I am able to surf the web and receive all notifications normally. I tried rebooting the phone and also switching wifi off and then back on but nothing changed. Any suggestions?

This happens to a lot of us...
Maybe this helps...
If you go to Settings -> Advanced Settings -> Applications and then Locate Sys Upd
Force Stop the Application and Clear Data
After that go to updates and check for new updates now it should be showing your latest update.
I do not know if it resolves the original problem with No Internet Connection, Download failed issue. Maybe someone could try this option first as I updated manually allready.
Let me know if it helps. Cant promise. I updated manually.

Hi,
Sorry to refer to this old post. Having problems trying to update apps on my wife's Z2 and checking if it's the problem with lack of OTA (as it's still on v. 1.9.044!). Following your suggestion, I can't even find System Update in the Application list as per screenshot link below! Hope I can get some advice here.

Man, System updates are in Settings.
1.9.044 - pretty old.
You can update it to 2.5.412 (China) or 2.5.104 (India) via QFIL.
Thanks Sergsinger,
I am away and don't have access to my wife's phone but am almost sure System Update is not under either Settings or Advance Settings on her Z2. Even after activating Developer Option with multi-taps
Hope I am wrong of course. Will check when I get back next week.
Didn't think I would miss the System Update in my wife's Settings menu if it was there. Please see my screenshot. Just above 'About' is 'Camera'. Hence hope someone could advise at v. 1.9.044 ST level.

bluetooth mac 00:00:46:00:00:01

Anyone with MIUI 11 Indonesia fw - Android 10 version got the bluetooth problem?
I have two Redmi Note 8 Pro and both got same bluetooth mac 00:00:46:00:00:01.
anyone?
Have you tried changing the Bluetooth codec settings under developer options? There are a couple other settings there that probably won't change the mac but can't hurt to try?
Seems the nvram data is corrupted.
Lucky the IMEI & wifi mac are intact.
Is there any way to edit this BT mac using SN Writer Tool?
I have a difficulty to find the required database file for SN Write Tools.
Maybe something is corrupted, but on both phones?
Have you tried flashing a different ROM? That would prove if the issue is in the NVRAM data.
I haven't seen any other entries about issues with the mac address on any of the other forums either.

Yeah, strangely on both phones.
I tried Global ROM (was Indonesian ROM) but still the same.
Plus I think there's strange hardware issue when it's left cold on table overnight then I reboot it, it can't detect any SIM till another reboot.
There is an Xposed module that allows you to change it, but I think it won't work on Q. Aside from that, might have to wait for someone else to chime in.

enable Second Space then reboot then check the Bluetooth MAC.
seems there's a bug in the Android 10 ver.
also if I enable Dual Apps, there's another bug (present in Poco F1 as well) like in the screenshot, the name of all app is null.

FIXED USING THIS METHOD: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2695909
Bluetooth MAC address fix:
1. Using FX File Explorer with Root abilities, navigate to /mnt/vendor/nvdata/APCFG/APRDEB/BT_Addr then copy it to your PC.
2. Then open up the file by using Hex Editor.
3. To fix a static MAC address, just simply type in your MAC address on the first row (0000) from column (00-05). That is what your MAC address should be (Edit both files with the same MAC address). After you have modified it, put it back in the exact location and remember to change permission.
Note by me: Use FX Explorer to put the file back to device, it can set the SELinux part correctly & exactly like the original. You only need to match the rw permission with the original permission.
BLUETOOTH MAC OF OUR DEVICE IS 1 number greater than WIFI MAC. So if your wifi mac is 01:01:01:01:01:01, your bluetooth mac should be 01:01:01:01:01:02.

what's the update of this? Did you figured out now how to show up 5G in Preferred Network Type? or without using switcher apps.

There is still no way to set it up without the switcher app. From what I've gathered, it's because it's not a true Global ROM but a regional one (India) where it was officially released. So although the phone is capable, it's limited by software (so no 5G, VoLTE, VoWiFi unless using a carrier of the official regions). I've read that even if you flash with the ColorOS China ROM, the issue persists. We will have to wait if they program it for true global use in the future or forever stuck using the switcher app.

Yup, that's how it currently is, as far as I understand it.
Also, a reason why the Android 11 rootkit won't work with the 9RT is it already seems to have some ColorOS programming - thus, entering the suggested *#800# for engineering code now just opens a feedback app - something that is also seen on the other OnePlus Android 12 devices.

Question How do I block the "Install update to keep device secure" message from popping up every single day?

I have the device rooted, Magisk (Zygisk) running. I'm not looking to re-flash or update, just want to get rid of this message from popping up. How do I completely disable this message? Is there firewall settings? Build.prop?

When this has been asked before in the last three weeks in this section since Android 13 came out, I don't think anyone suggested a solid definitely working answer. My answer, I doubt if you can make it go away, and I doubt if you can keep from installing it for very long.
Have you tried disabling the "Automatic system update" setting in the Developer options menu?
I never usually see these messages, however, I usually manually update my device within the first two weeks of a new update dropping. However, I may surpass that time frame this time around due to numerous family events. Therefore, I will let you know if I end up seeing this message pop-up on my device in the near future.

That is indeed what used to happen.
There have been several reliable reports that those who were rooted on Android 12 Stable got the OTA for Android 13 Stable (even though they had automatic download of OTAs disabled in Developer options), and that the 13 Stable OTA did install successfully. Of course, it overwrote the rooted kernel/boot.img, so it wasn't rooted until they manually Magisk'd the boot.img from the (full) factory image zip and flashed it.
I can also confirm that on my own phone before 13 Stable came out, it wanted to install the tiny second July OTA even though again, I had automatic download of OTAs disabled. I just never rebooted until Android 13 Stable came out, which I manually flashed. I have no idea if that second July OTA would've successfully installed as well.
In some ways, being able to take the OTA officially may make it easier to update for some users, as long as it happens at a time you're comfortable installing the new rooted boot.img. But it's not cool about it ignoring the automatic download of OTAs switch. For the OTA to Android 13 Stable, it was reasonably understandable, in my opinion, since the bootloader vulnerability on Android 12 Stable was big enough to warrant that.
We have no idea at this point if all OTAs will successfully install over a rooted Stable firmware, or if any future OTAs will ignore the automatic download switch.
If I click download it just dismisses the message and does nothing. I do have the "Automatic system update" disabled in the developer menu. The current ROM on the phone is an official one I downloaded, patched with Magisk, and flashed.
I'm not looking to update every month, just want to get rid of this annoying popup and update when I see an update I want.
I tried the "Disable Application [ROOT]" app from the app store. You have to pay something like $3 to buy it, once.
It was a very tedious process, but I tapped on "Google Play services" in that app and scrolled through the very long lists of "Activities", "Services", "Receivers", "Providers" and unchecked anything that had an identifier that looked like it was related to system updates. e.g. "something.something.SystemUpdate".
I haven't seen this update message in 4 days, so that seems promising. It wasn't exactly a quick fix, though.

I have the same problem on an unrooted and bootloader locked OP9. I'm so glad I'm only trying to flash this thing so a friend can use it because I'll never buy another OP device. I guess she's just gonna have to live with F.17.
I believe TMO firmware is most reliable. Just my thoughts. Yes they are a little slow but that is because they do more refining before releasing for a solid firmware.
