hi, I need some help, i'm desperate.
I was using a bad charger, when my phone was in low battery, so it turned off my phone (charging > not charging) three times. In the third boot, the CM logo just froze up, and the phone didn't boot anymore. It appears Lenovo's logo and then the screen turns black and i'm not able to press any button. I tried to: wipe everything, flash another rom, but the same still happening. I flashed stock rom too, but it gives me a bootloop. I tried to use a TWRP's backup from stock rom, but it didn't work either.
Any help? I don't know what to do

Since you flashed a stock rom , flash a new twrp using adb and fastboot and wipe everything except system . BTW a simple reboot (or three) cant damage system. Try checking battery too if you could

I tried that with QFIL and Lenovo Smart Assistance. and bootloop.
But I think i've made some progress:
I tried to flashed a new rom (I flashed CM/RR/AOCP before, is with these roms the frozen lenovo screen happens), CRDROID, and it appears crdroid bootanimation, and load until it frozes and phone turn off.

1) Main problem is Battery backup. It won't last long a day.
2) Stock ROM Really sucks
There is no heating issue though. It has been solved by latest updates

Try entering to TWRP by using the hardware keys. Do this:
Pull down the battery.
Insert again.
Press power key, volume up and volume down at the same time, until lenovo logo dissappear.
If luck, you are into TWRP now.
connect phone to computer via usb cable. you should be able to access to internal memory.
So, copy into it any custom ROM previously downloaded from your computer, and flash it. That's all.

Bootleggers has some bugs, like WhatsApp not being able to play GIFs or videos. Also, after a while in the day, launcher becomes laggy (maybe a kernel settings issue). You have to reboot and becomes smooth and fast again.
I highly recommend LOS 15.1 or AEX 5.6 from Harry (yes, he is continuing the development!) Both of them have June updates.
I'm on AEX right now, which is such a marvelous ROM. It has a looot of customizations than any other ROM I've tried.
How to get them?
Search into the Harry8242 profile from AFH.

LOS 15.1 is fine but has some bugs too(camera zoomer not working).
I've finally decided to use a STOCK ROM and there is a complication, here is the problem:" I'm using lenovo downloader software to flash and once my phone is connected, the progress bar gets stuck at the begining level and says:"Flashing" below the status bar and " Sahara "- which have no idea what means- below the step bar and it also takes too much time to do the flashing which is never done! I have the same problem with QFIL( Sahara Fail )!

Glad to hear that! So, you've decided to stay on stock ROM. OK, it has sense. stock firmware is free of bugs, right? Now, do you know being on stock LL you can "update" to MM and thus get doze and adaptive storage?
How?
Follow this guide:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/k5-plus/how-to/guide-a6020l36-official-lenovo-andoid-6-t3596733
and you'll get the most updated official stock ROM available four our device. Actually, it's a backup made by an Brazilian user, where you should restore only system and boot partitions, in order to keep your data.
This update was only released for Brazil region, but, users from other regions in the thread, reported it worked for them.
I've tried it once, and worked like a charm.
when my phone disconnected to charging port my phome started rebooting in sometime & after port connect its work normal.....help me
1. First make sure u have clean flashed the ROM.
2. If problem persist try any another ROM.
3. If anything didn't work ,Try flashing stock ROM using qfil or mi tool. Then again flash twrp.
4. If still the problem persist contact the service centre .. there maybe some hardware fault.
??
same fault here ... i think its a battery related issue ...
It's like if the phone need too power it reboot( maybe the battery no longer reach a higher voltage) ...
try to decrease brightness while you are waiting for new battery
is the battery, I spend with my phone a few months ago I changed the battery and I stop doing it.
hi
when i'm charging my phone i cant keep it turned off
even if i turn it off after plugged in it reboot itself and get stack on android one logo
i disabled screensaver and stay awake function in developer option already
any suggestion?
Same problem here, be sure to charge the phone while switched on, because this bug will make the phone excessively hot (the Android one screen probably uses the CPU without throttling).
My phone is unlocked and has Magisk installed, but I don't know if the problem is present with locked bootloader also.
Future updates should fix this.

I dont know about the others but heres my experience.
My device:
- Bootloader unlocked.
- Rooted thru @BubuXP's guide.
- September 2018 Security Patch.
Status:
- Offline charging works fine.
Description:
I turned off the phone then plugged in the charger.
Phone goes to the Android One logo for a couple of secs then the battery charging icon shows up.
Screen turns off and the charging led indicator goes on.
Phone then proceeds to charge normally.

lol i'm not even sure what magisk does exacly ...
I removed root(magisk) but I still face the same problem, this wasn't an issue before I unlocked the bootloader and rooted the phone. I really need a solution to this problem. Any suggestions?
I've tried some combos (with havoc os) and i found that at 100% the cause is magisk, unfortunately it's needed in some gsi rom.
Here's my test:
-stock boot -> charger
-only magisk -> no charger
-only twrp -> charger
-caf kernel+twrp -> charger
-caf kernel+twrp+magisk -> no charger
I note also that led is not working, but i think it's a rom issue.

I've tried now and that's the result (used this):
-charger start correctly
-first time it rebooted to system after a while, asked for pattern (wtf?) and then rebooted again
-tried again and this time works!
-rebooted to see if works and it asked again for pattern and rebooted
The request of pattern i said above is the same when you change boot and you have encrypted data (black screen with the request of pattern), so i think it should show if you have disabled encryption, if not i'm quite sure it will be always requested after a charge.
Note that this time i've rooted with direct patch and not by using flashable zip (because TWRP don't work on pie update) so this needs more tests (maybe is only the flashable zip that cause the issue ).
same problem with android pie and april security patch.
There is a way to charge a2 lite offline with magisk?
any news? I tried to enabled Charger screen in fastboot, but doesn't work
Does anyone know why I'm getting my emails as a notification only when the phone is charging? Otherwise I have to go into my email and refresh it.
Thanks!
Hi All,
Opening a new thread bcz I didn't find any solution anywhere for this particular problem , if available pls redirect me.
So I am facing strange issue with my OnePlus 3. One day suddenly my phone slowed down and then followed by black screen. I was using havoc os based on pie back then.
I rebooted and phone worked for 2-3 mins and again I faced the same issue..so I thought it might be something with the rom.
I switched to stock rom and even locked the bootloader , still faced the same issue. My phone works fine in recovery and bootloader mode and I don't face black screen there.
Now I installed pixel experience rom Android 10 and facing the same issue it works for 2-3 minute and then I get the black screen followed by white led..also my phone works very slow during that 2-3 minute time.
I don't think it's a hardware issue as I am not having problem in recovery or fastboot mode, correct me if I am wrong.
If anyone knows the solution please reply to this thread..will appreciate.
Thanks ?

Execute an EDL flash to completely restore your device to regular state https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-3/how-to/op3-collection-unbrick-tools-t3896722
Will try..thanks?
This is same as found in Nexus 5x, Nexus 6P especially
Problem of high performance core in cpu section
A customized boot image

Kernel
Both at a time or boot.image will most probably fix it.
Currently facing same issue with op3 running LOS 10
pixelized screen then freeze. On force or hard re-start(no reset) stuck of 1+ logo.
Then white LED Light (indicator or notification light)
Im trying LOS's low performance mode in

Hope so it will fix this issue.
Otherwise I'll try any kernel with "Under clocking cpu & gpu profiles"

I have the following problem:
My Galaxy S9 (G960F) has restarts every 2 minutes since a week.
The Samsung customer service thinks it is the circuit board, but he can only say more precisely when he has the device open - cost approx. 250 Euros. Is a lot of money for a 2 1/2 year old cell phone.
Maybe someone has an idea?
I am currently using an old iPhone but the move with Whatsapp does not work at all.

flash most current FW with Odin and if it still does it, its probably a hardware issue and you might consider trading it in or something along those lines
I find it odd if it always shuts down at the same time every time.
Make sure battery is at least 60% charged and does indicate it's taking a charge ie battery %. Use know good cable/charger.
Try safe mode.
If you go to the boot menu and wait, does it cut it?
If not check to see if all hardware is working with the onboard diagnostic tests.
See what's set to have Administrator privileges; disable all.
Try a hard boot, and also clear system cache.
If that fails try a reload... run it before you load apps.
Try a reflash if all that fails.

Use Odin to reflash firmware. You can get the correct firmware on Sammobile.
I'd say it's almost certainly a software not hardware issue, if it started immediately after updating to Android 10.
Try rebooting into recovery mode and clearing cache and delvic first. Could be a rogue piece of software.
If the battery is low and not charging properly it will behave like this.
They auto shutdown when battery drops below 6% or so.
When you hook charger to phone without booting it up, after 30 minutes what's the indicated charge?
Then after shutdown, again without booting it up, what's the charge shown on the charge screen?

You do not need root to access recovery - The whole point in Recovery is to help out if something goes wrong. Reboot to recovery and clear the cache and dalvic. Then restart and see if the problem persist.
If problem does persist - Boot to download mode and leave the phone in download mode for a few minutes, see if the problem happens there. Because Blackhawk brings up a good point, you may have trouble even flashing the firmware if the device powers off in download mode.

Great. In that case, if I were you I'd try flashing the firmware. It shouldn't take more than 10 mins to flash. Ensure battery is charged to 100% to give best possible performance.
I mean, when the alternative is returning to Samsung and a €250 bill, I'd say it's worth a try.

If it doesn't work, then it means it isn't software and is hardware.
But considering Download Mode works fine, I'd say that pretty much cements the fact that it's software. Something was probably corrupted during the update. Since you've already cleared the cache ( You did that in Recovery, right?) then the best option will just be a clean flash of the update. You'll lose all data on the device, but you'll save yourself a bill from having to send it to Samsung.
As BlackHawk has said - A factory reset could potentially help. Might be worth a try before flashing stock.

You may also need to enable USB debugging in developer options.
Ensure you're running Odin directly from C://
Make sure you're using an original Samsung USB cable. Try a different USB port.

I was able to restore older data in the Samsung Cloud
