Question Please Help me ever since the update!!! SM-F926U1 XAA - Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3

Since the update my galaxy z fold 3 doesn't play sound full screen or I cant hear anything out of my speakers unless I fold the phone anyone know how to fix this I installed the Software again and it didn't work I'm completely clueless on this factory reset it and nothing I know its a software error also when i open the phone the screen sometimes is just pure black any ideas or suggestions id greatly apricate it

Try this:
Clean cache in recovery modeTo clean the cache in Recovery mode, follow the steps below:
Power OFF the phone
Press at the same time Volume up + power button
release the volume button when your Samsung Galaxy Z Fold3 vibrates
Navigate with the volume buttons, find Wipe Cache Partition , confirm with the power button
Choose Yes
Then find Reboot system now
This is where you can do a factory reset as well (Wipe Data). However, I would start with wiping the Cache (twice) and see how things work. Last resort, Wipe Data and reset, but be sure to back everything up!

^ Try that suggestion first. It's meant to reset everything so the phone starts fresh, like out of the box.
If that doesn't work, reach out to Sammy/your carrier about the warranty.

If u have 2.2 installed press volume down+up together....When u see Android Logo..
Sent from my MB525 using XDA App
remove ur battery.
then, u must turn on ur phone by pressing power button, and volume down. hold those two button, till u find android puppet logo, and a triangle.
if previously u run eclair ---> touch the bottom screen, choose wipe data/ factory reset, and choose wipe cache. (navigation entirely using touch screen)
if previously u run froyo ---> press vol up and vol down together, choose wipe data/ factory reset, and choose wipe cache (the navigation is using vol key, to choose using power button)
after u wipe all data and cache, press REBOOT system.
but.... IMMEDIATELY after u press REBOOT, u must press vol up buttong and HOLD for around 6 seconds and then release.
after that, ur screen will show boatloader mode, and u can flash it again using FULL SBF froyo for fresh one.
good luck

[Q] Ensuring I keep my warranty from bad power button

Did some searching, and couldn't find my question.
So today, out of nowhere, my phone decides that it's time that my power button do the random reboot thing.
Fortunately, it booted once long enough to back up all my data, do a nandroid, then reboot, do a TiBu, and Triangle Away. Then I booted into download mode. It did/does say official, no custom binary, etc. My first try at ODINing to stock (using the 4.0.4 LG1 ROM) got all the way to system, and about half way through stopped.
I keep trying, but only once at this point has it even hit flashing the system during ODIN. I have tried multiple times of cleaning the power button, but it only seems to help less and less each time I clean it.
My question is, is there a trick to keep the SGS3 in download mode with a faulty power button? Also, I'm guessing there's a good chance that if I can't keep it in download mode, then there's a good chance AT&T can't tell the best flash I've done is half the system?
Thanks, y'all!
I was able to finally get an ODIN to flash all the way. My understanding is that I still need to get a data/factory reset done before it's all in the clear, but that's proving to be an even bigger task. When (it's rare, trust me) it will go into recovery, and I am able to highlight data/factory reset, pressing the power button makes it jump all over the place.
In the event that I do actually get a reset started, what all does the stock recovery's reset do? I saw it starts with formatting /data, what else?
Well, the ODIN to stock plus the initial data reset apparently was enough. It finally booted into the OS. I did a factory reset from there, which was very quick with no words, just Andy and the blue polyhedron.

Device rebooting over and over

I was checking my phone to see if there was a way to Sim unlock the phone from the service menu and once I didn't find the menu needed I was about to exit the service menu. As I was exiting the service menu I believe I turned something on or off not. Now my phone Note 4 AT&T reboots over and over. Any ideas what could have change or what I need to do to correct the issue?
Thanks

Well, pull the battery put it back in and hold volume up, power and the home button, once the screen comes on release the power button only. Use the volume keys to navigate and go to clear cache and hit power once, let it do its thing and than reboot the phone. If that doesn't work follow the above instructions and instead of clear cache do a factory reset.
Tried both wiping cache and factory reset. After factory reset, the phone tries to apply the android updates but doesn't finish as the rebooting is still occurring.

If it's under warranty take it back and get a new one.
I tried turning on art and it kept rebooting but that's not what you did. Anyways maybe try flashing a the stock firmware through odin? Or down kies and there may be a repair mode

you can try to restore data, but don't do anything on your phone. Search for apps on google or play store. I don't know how android formats storage, but on hdd I have restored a lot of data.

Cache wipe procedure for non rooted m8 on Marshmallow

I got the ota update for mm but the usual method of wiping the cache that worked for lollipop doesn't work. I hold down and power and I get the first menu screen. I select recovery then it goes to a black screen with a phone with red triangle. I used to then press power and up button to get to another menu screen with the cache wipe option. However, with mm the process stops on the bit with the phone with red traingle symbol, and then it restarts without giving me the cache wipe partition section. My phone is not rooted, so just wondering if anybody knows if HTC have changed the process for wiping the cache for mm? Please excuse my extreme stubbornness and ignorance but I'm a bit of a noob and don't really want to do any technical 'adb connecting the phone to PC stuff thingy', I just would like to know the more simple button sequence for activating wipe cache if anybody knows for me. Thanks for reading and advance thanks for any help given ?
