I'm lost. Spending days without any progress.
I'm rooted running latest Magisk and Shamiko.
But some app still detect root for some reason.
1. McDonald's
2. CIMB (banking app)
Why is McDonald's app still detecting root on my phone?
I've used:
Zygist denylist
shamiko
Magisk Alpha by Rikka
SFN passing basic integrity
Running this app on work partition using Island.
Cleared my download folder
Paused all magisk module (including Smali Patcher)
Momo shows this error:

Most likely it detected unlocked BL
Sorry @aqsede don't have solution here but was wondering how did you hide Momo from detecting bootloader unlock status?
I have Universal SNF and all others mentioned by you. Have put Momo in zygisk hide list but Momo detects BL and few more things.
Hello @mGforCe same here, still cant figure out a solution for this looked all over the internet.

No one replying here too.. So stuck with this problem
There is an LSPosed module called McRoot that should help with the McDonalds app
Try magisk universal safety net fix on GitHub
2023-06-10 Face the same error but found no solution all over the Internet.
1.Magisk 26.1
2.Shamiko 0.7.3
3.Zagisk Denylist
4.MagiskHide 1.10.3
But Momo 4.4.1 shows the following error:

Hi,
I am using Zenfone 2 ZE551ML and I install Lineage OS 14.1.
I realized I only have root access via ADB then I download addonsu-14.1-x86-signed.zip file from download.lineageos.org/extras.
I flashed with TWRP and I see the new options in settings like "Apps and ADB" and I choosed this one then I tried apps need root access and no apps work.

I tested root access with Root Checker and it said "Sorry! Root access is not properly installed on this device."
I need the solve this problem help me pls
EDIT: Problem solved and here is the solution:
Download this zip file: theflamingskull.com/downloads/addonsu-14.1-x86-silvermont.zip [I can't put links thats why i put the link like that]
Then open your recovery mode(twrp) and flash it.
My phone is Zenfone 2 ZE551ML so if your phone is not the same model please do not try it.
And thanks for solution " joaohkfaria".
*bump* same problem, on HTC M8 AT&T

Thank you so much! It worked for me too
Thanks very much.
Got the same problem & it helped. (bothered for hours)
I tried to achieve full root with KingRoot 5.3.7 Android app, but something strange is going on after I achieved a sort of Bizarro root
KingRoot says the phone is rooted...

...but Root Checker Pro Free says root isn't quite right.
and here's why:
Root Authorization & Auto Authorization is enabled
Phone is optimized
Two apps have root authorization, supposedly
Stage 2-Superuser Binary Files: Installed
Log First Half
Log Second Half
Also, su binary is already occupied, so SuperSU cannot update the su binary. What do you suggest I do to root the user account and be successful at stage 3? This phone doesn't support fastboot as far as I can tell from adb commands not activating it. I can't install a custom recovery on this phone, believe me, I've tried. Any ideas? Any input would be greatly appreciated no matter who it comes from.
Usually, you get a big ass orangish-reddish X when the root is NOT installed correctly. As you saw in the pic from my phone the device icon is just grayed out instead. The example below of normal unsuccessful root message:
ONLY AN EXAMPLE (NOT THE PHONE I EH, ALMOST FULL ROOTED, I GUESS)
When I reboot the Alcatel OneTouch Elevate, KingRoot states that the phone is unrooted.
Thanks in advance guys and gals
The full OTA is also available in Oxygen Updater

Same here was looking for it... glad to see!
Just got it this morning.

Hmm, my device is now failing safetynet, didn't have any of this before with previous updates.
Anyone seeing the same?

Did you try to simply disable any Magisk module then reboot just to the if the culprit isn't there ? Is Magisk Hide engaged ?
You can also try to fasboot boot the correct boot.img that is already patched too and see how the assertion react
Anyone notice any sound issues since the update when watching videos or listening to music? I have to crank the volume way up and there doesn't appear to be any bass.

Didn't even think of that, been using edxposed for a while and didn't have any issues until now. Found some other people complaining and saying lsposed did the trick and that was it. Thanks!
Maybe someone can help here?
I updated my magisk app to 23012 when prompted but every time I go into Magisk after, I get this prompt that additional setup is required even when I hit ok and it reboots. My magisk version is 23011 alpha (which I can't update either) as can be seen in the screenshot. Any help greatly appreciated.

I didn't have that problem. However, I installed the updated version of magisk app little differently. I downloaded the new version and installed it rather than updated it directly. After that, just opened the magisk app and updated magisk to 23012.

Same issue here, I've tried uninstalling magisk and it's still there. So far have not noticed any issues beyond the annoying popup. Hopefully the next canary update fixes it.

This worked: Flash patched boot with 23012 in fastboot.
That did it, thanks!
I used the Safteynet check function of an app called "Rom Checker", after the February updated, it tells me that my P6P is rooted but failed Safety Test. I wasted a couple hours trying to figure out what went wrong: uninstall/reinstall the module of "USNF Zygisk" v.2.2.1, cleared cache and data of Google Play Service etc. ... it still indicated that my P6P is failed of Safetynet Test. I download a couple more from Play Store: "Safetynet Test" and "Safetynet Check", both gave me the same "FAILED" results. I almost pulled my hairs out, then I have had to purchase something from a nearby store for my wife, figured that why not try if my Google Pay still working...it worked!!! So I believe my P6P still pass Safetynet check otherwise Google Pay wouldn't work. I just back from the store purchasing, and I download the "YASNAC" and it indicated that both Basic integrity and CTS are passed!
So, don't follow my stupid way in wasting of your time with bad apps, just make sure that you use one that is properly updated to check the SafetyNet status of your phone.
Thanks for confirming that Google pay works. That's what I was worried about most after rooting. Gonna attempt tonight to root and put despair kernel
I can confirm safetynet passes on my 256gb p6pro

Another thumbs up for YASNAC here. I've used an app called SafetyNet Helper Sample for years and it was always accurate until I just installed the February update. I started to get "Response signature validation: error". Turns out that app is just bad, and I really am still passing.
