Maybe someone can help here?
I updated my magisk app to 23012 when prompted but every time I go into Magisk after, I get this prompt that additional setup is required even when I hit ok and it reboots. My magisk version is 23011 alpha (which I can't update either) as can be seen in the screenshot. Any help greatly appreciated.

I didn't have that problem. However, I installed the updated version of magisk app little differently. I downloaded the new version and installed it rather than updated it directly. After that, just opened the magisk app and updated magisk to 23012.

Same issue here, I've tried uninstalling magisk and it's still there. So far have not noticed any issues beyond the annoying popup. Hopefully the next canary update fixes it.

This worked: Flash patched boot with 23012 in fastboot.
That did it, thanks!

Just received my T-Mobile Galaxy Note 3 SM-N900T yesterday and it's gorgeous! I used CF-Auto-Root to get root in under 30 seconds as advertised! I installed F-Droid and then Adaway, which is my ad blocker of choice, but it has a problem writing the hosts file. I was wondering if this has something to do with not having access to a particular partition? It's not really a huge ordeal and I know the device is brand new but I thought I would throw this out there just in case anyone else had noticed the issue or has a solution. Thanks in advance.

Make sure Busybox is up to date. If you installed it, rebooted, and it still doesn't work, try enabling USB debugging, and try again. That worked for me in the past when I had issues with it not working right.

To update my own results. I couldn't get it to work normally. I had to change the host destination in settings to /data/data/hosts, and then let the app create a symlink. Now it works great.
Sent from a Galaxy Note 3 far, far away....
I just recently got this phone and started playing around with it.
I'm currently rooted on the stock ROM.
One of the first things I wanted to install is, in fact one of biggest reasons why I rooted the phone in the first place was to install Xposed Framework and customize it bit by bit on my own.
However, it seems that I can't actually install the framework? When I download the installer, I get this message in the Framework tab:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I suppose I could still flash the zip manually in the recovery but it sounds awfully risky considering the message.
I'm sorry if this was asked before but I searched the Xposed Framework threads and couldn't find anything about it. Google search came up with a few hits saying that I could simply by downloading the latest version but that doesn't seem to be the case.
I appreciate anyone willing to help.

So, after some extensive research, I finally got it to work.
Just download this modified installer, and choose automatic recovery installation.
Good luck!
By the way, if for some reason you can't boot up, the installation will leave a Xposed Disabler zip on your main storage. Flash it and you should be good to go.

dl link is dead, could you please reupload ?
edit:
succeeded on acer iconia a3-a20 (stock 4.4.2, stock recovery, rooted) with the last version from this thread ( de.robv.android.xposed.installer_v32_de4f0d.apk ), with std method not even using recovery
minminguard, yt adaway, yt bg playback are all functional
Just noticed that when trying to install the 021 Beta, it keeps prompting for an update to a newer version. You click later but the second prompt basically forces you to either update or disable (close app).
Last evening it worked fine. How can we bypass this or what version should we use with the chinese ID to upload faces to a GT2/GT2e? Thx.

Did you try to simply disable any Magisk module then reboot just to the if the culprit isn't there ? Is Magisk Hide engaged ?
You can also try to fasboot boot the correct boot.img that is already patched too and see how the assertion react
Anyone notice any sound issues since the update when watching videos or listening to music? I have to crank the volume way up and there doesn't appear to be any bass.

Didn't even think of that,been using edxposed for a while and didn't have any issues until now. Found some other people complaining and saying lsposed did the trick and that was it. Thanks!
Hi there
I'm on 3.15 and I was prompted with a new update (weird already as when it prompted it said 3.15 again instead of 3.18 or 3.20). I tried to click download and install but after 5 seconds of not going past 0% it would just go back to the same "Download and update" button. I even got the download on my notification bar still showing 0%...
So I decided to check how to do it manually (yes I backed up everything already) but realized the three dots aren't even here to try to flash it?
Any suggestions on how I am supposed to flash the new version?

I did that, (didn't need to download as was already installed) it opened exactly the same thing as in the screenshots and behaved the same way.
Edit: Nevermind I think I found it. Just searched for "local update".
