Themes / Apps / Mods Poco F3 Undervolt with Konabess app - Xiaomi Poco F3 / Xiaomi Mi 11X / Redmi K40

Hi,
This is New Snapdragon 870 Undervolt stable with the same performance as stock voltage.
Stock voltage 670MHz at NOM_L1 at 320mv is lowered to 200mv at 670MHz with the same performance and stability.
If you have any performance issues use V2 of Undervolt at 670MHz is 208mv which isn't needed but Silicone lottery is a thing.
Use beta version of konabess to get this working.

MOD EDIT: Link Removed
Adreno 650 at stock 670MHz with new drivers v604 on Miku Os which has new drivers by default so no need for Magisk module.

Yes work with drivers. Try roms like Miku Ui or Ancient os this roms has drivers in it so magisk module not need

I have doubts whether any of those frequencies are actually stable...
As in no micro stuttering. I've tried playing with those a lot but overall I'm not happy with the stability.
You have a better cpu than mine , mine bootloops on the voltages you suggest and when I bump it up I'm not happy with micro stuttering...
This is what I use instead , 670mhz only.
I removed all other frequencies cuz I really can't be bothered checking each and every one...
Adreno drivers too ofc

Hi. This subject is new for me and i have some doubts.
You are using version v.14 now in March 2022 but we have v.16. This is strange because v.14 does not have support for 870 but v.16 has it.
Are your files compatible only with v.14?
When I open your file I see info about 865 , not about 870.
When I open 870 in .16 I do not see 150Mhz, but you use it in your files.
As i wrote before, I know nothing about it and this is source of my doubts and I want be sure before I do anything.

Hi don't worry
We have telegram development group and over 1000+ people used 014 just it name unnamed processor that all all is compatible.
Here are latest configs.
Zip has new ones and older but newer that here.
I recommend 682MHz -150MHz or 683mHz-150MHz 244 files

Thanks.
Ok, I will use V0.14, import suggested file, next backup old image, next repack and flash new image.
Is it correct? I am using LOS 18.1 .

With this being a GPU-focused undervolting, is there a way to do the same thing for the CPU part of the SOC too?

Welcome to the Twisted Kernel for the Galaxy S6 920F, and 925F.......These kernels
are based on G920TUVU5FQE1 with all the correct ramdisk merges. Both kernels also come
with Synaspe support.....which will be discussed more below.
I also want everyone to know that I have a 920T, not a F model,etc.....So I have built
these for YOU, not me. All I ask is a little bit of appreciation for the time I had to spend
on bringing this to yall. I dont think I'm asking for too much. Plus, I dont see very many
kernels here, especially with the amount of optimizations as mine do. Or rather, the experience
in building them.
SYNAPSE
Each kernel has Synapse support. Now, before anyone starts *****ing......there is some Java errors
that I still need to fix. They WILL NOT affect performance OR battery life. I just havent gotten around
to fixing them yet. But, I will be addressing them on the next update.
If you are unfamiliar with Synapse I would suggest that you do some reading on it. It can become
the best thing since sweet tea, or the worst like.......well, you get the picture. BUT, Synaspe does
have a safety feature......if you adjust something (like voltage) and either give or take away too much,
Synaspe will cancel out your selections on a reboot.

And Info
My kernels provide the best of both worlds, performance and battery life. If you want your
device to be wide open and battery life isnt a issue, you can tune it to fly just as fast as you
want. Or, if your the conservative type, you can tune it in to get you the best battery life you
can possibly have on the S6. The choice is all yours on how YOU want your device to run. All
I did was give you the means to do so........
MAGISK
My kernel comes with all the commits in order for it to pass all Safety-Net restictions. But,
Magisk can also cause issues such as loosing root on a reboot, or causing errors in Synaspe.
This is due to BusyBox which he has implemented in his binary. This is NOT a kernel issue.
So please dont flood my thread with things I cannot control.
SUPERSU
SuperSU works just fine. Only set-back is that it will not pass Safety-Net. BUT, he does have
a Aroma installer that just may help to pass all of Safety-Net bull........I myself uses SuperSU
Just make sure that you flash either Magisk or SuperSU after you flash the kernel. Failure
to do so will make it boot back to TWRP......
ISSUES/BUGS/REBOOTS
If you have any of these problems you need to speak up. I have been on this kernel for awhile
and have yet to run into any issues. Thats not saying that you won't either.....
REMEMBER, I BUILT THESE KERNELS FOR YOU.

Magisk is a method of rooting that tries to keep up with Google (and app devs) ways of detecting root AND changes to the ROM (System). This makes apps unusable or invisible in the Google Play Store and so on. Off the top my head: Pokemon Go, Mario Run, Netflix, Elder Scrolls: Legends, a myriad of banking apps are involved in using this... With Magisk this "SafetyNet" is by-passed and root access can be hidden from specific apps. Search, this is waaaay simplifed from all Magisk is

I'd get the intended root-method working before flashing kernel and then as OP instructs flash the used root-method (SU or Magisk) BEFORE booting. You should be able to switch root-method afterwards as well... But I am no expert

Thank you for your answer. I'll make a backup and try,see what happens!
Thank you for new kernel.
I'll surely try it in these days. Then I'll come back here to report my impression.
Thanks again
edit: @The Sickness one thing to report, safetynet doesn't work. i have flashed magisk v13.3 right after kernel, and inside magisk i can't pass safetynet verification
Edit2: another problem is that when i delet big files from internal memory, this is not gonna be updated.
I explain it better: lets say i have 10 GB free and i delete a file of 2 GB, now memory should show me 12 GB free, instead it continues to show 10 free until i make a reboot

Deleting files is either the file manager you are using, OR, the rom

Will flash this shortly, thanks
Edit: installed on existenz rom v3.7.0, (with or without magisk) phone loads bootloader warning message and turns off, same results with fresh install of stock .30 firmware.
I saw kali nethunter aircrack-ng feature, does this mean you are able to build a nethunter kernel for XZ Premium?? Because that would be awesome! Also do you know how to add some overclocked frequencies to CPU and GPU?

This kernel will support some features of Nethunter, not all. I may add more in later.
Secondly, I'm against overclocking this SoC as it is highly performant already - once you try my kernel with it's governor settings you'll love it.
Thirdly, I'm bringing EAS soon so that'll improve battery while keeping the nice performance I've got in my HMP settings.

[KERNEL] C20 Kernel for Motorola Z3 Play (beckham) [OC]

C20 KernelHi all!
Here is my custom kernel for the beckham, it is based in the LineageOS SDM660 Kernel, with the fixes from @Jleeblanch
The aim of this project is to have a kernel with overclock capabilities in order to get the Snapdragon 636 more closer to the Snapdragon 660. The rest of the kernel will be remain untouched (or for the most part).
Features:
- CPU Overclocked Big clusger up to 2.45 ghz (default frequency set at 2.2 Ghz) Small cluster up to 1.9 ghz
- GPU model faked to Adreno 512, with this now games loads more optimized drivers aimed for the 512.
- For some reason CPU-Z detects the device as a Snapdragon 660 (I wouldn't call this a feature )

Update 03 Nov. 2020
- Added kernel Zip for Stock Rom (Pie)
How stable it is on overclocked speed?
Awesome to finally see some recent development for this phone. Are there an bugs with this kernel?
is it possible to download the original kernel version? when I use this kernel the moto fashion doesn't work correctly

Go here - https://mirrors.lolinet.com/firmware/moto/beckham/official/
Choose your channel (it's listed in settings), and download the zip. Unpack the archive, find the boot.img file, go to fastboot, then flash it to both slots.
Stoked about this. This phone has not gotte much love and just glad its starting to see something! Hoping to get the latest version of Android on this thing sooner or later.

It usually depends on your device, but I managed to get a stable OC at max Frequency. Regarding bugs, the kernel is 95% similar to the one found in LOS, only things that have changed are the frequency table, GPU model, and some minor tweaks.
I have also made Stock rom compatible kernel with OC capabilities. Tell me guys if you want it as well!
*Update*
C20 Kernel for Stock Rom is available.

It's a AnyKernel 3 script, so it should mantain your current recovery and root.
You can flash it via TWRP or any tool that supports flashing zips
Does this kernel have the TTL patch compiled in?
Thank you nach0x very much for this Kernel!
I flash the Kernel for Stock ROM about 2 weeks ago and it works perfectly so far. I got almost the same result in Geekbench, but as I notice in this Kernel the default Governor is Performance unlike the one for the LinageOS, where the Governor is Interactive. Does it matter?
And GPU is not changed to 512 on Stock Kernel like you said for LinageOS Kernel
Hi, it's me again. I am surprised that no one else is showing interest in this wonderful kernel tweak.
In a meantime, LineageOS presents the official 18.1 ROM for Moto Z3 Play based on Android 11. I use it for a while with no issues at all, also update it 2 times through the system update.
I try C20 Kernel on this ROM but have some bugs, the SIM cards don't work, and Moto Gestures also.
So, I want to ask if someone can try to make a new OC kernel for LineageOS 18.1, PLEASE! I am not a developer but I'm willing to try it and test its stability.

I was thinking about it last week, overall performance on Android 9/10 is really fine with OC. Is it possible comes to android R?
can i use it on pixel experience android 11?

General Tested Freedreno Turnip Mesa Vulkan drivers in emulation on Poco F3

Hi,
I used compiled Mesa Turnip Freedreno drivers by samantas5855 on friend Unlocked Poco F3 with GPU OC to 925MHz at 388mv and my Xiaomi Mi 10T 925Mhz/940MHz GPU OC.
New Update brings better Dolphin Emulator as good as stock Quotes Qualcomm drivers.
If you want try it out here samantas5855 xda thread with drivers
Getting Freedreno Turnip (Mesa Vulkan Driver) on a Poco F3
Bellow follows a compilation and magisk packaging guide for the Turnip driver, if you just want an optimized build for magisk and don't care to compile get it from...
forum.xda-developers.com
Snapdragon 865 and 870 with Cortex-A77 and Cortex-A55.
These performance metric qualify to Poco F3 as well.
-Used AetherSX2 with latest v1276 with Vulkan
-Dolphin Emulator latest development build v5.0-16009 with Vulkan
Adreno drivers OpenGL v530 possible to update OpenGL v604 or OpenGL v611 which comes with massive boost +10%-15% Vulkan performance.
Ancient OS and Miku UI has v604 from flash so no need to update via Magisk.
We can clearly see that Freedreno Turnip Mesa drivers have loss -10-20% of frame rate in this AetherSX2 emulation but with new Update to Vulkan 1.2.204 we can get similar performance on Dolphin Emulator as on stock Qualcomm drivers.

Update new drivers with Vulkan 1.2.204
Of course if you want play with Freedreno drivers in more reasonable resolutions like 1080p all games are running full speed 30fps or 60fps in newest dolphin or AetherSX2.
Tested Game Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith Video game for AetherSX2 for PS2 and Metroid prime for GameCube.
AetherSX2 3200x2235 5X native Resolution of PS2.

Yep it possible on early model of Poco F3 and devices before chip Kona v2.1 which is lock to 683MHz.

Check dumpstate board on miui bug report
If kona-v2.1 then max 683Mhz.
if you have smaller you number table is unlocked on your Poco F3.
Generate yourself a file "bugreport ..... zip" (Settings / About phone / Full specification / and click a few times on the "Processor" field, click send)
When it finishes generating, go to the MIUI / debug_log folder and it's best to move this file (bugreport- (date and time here) .zip to your computer. Unpack it and go to the unpacked folder. There is another file with the extension .zip (bugreport-renoir .....), unpack it, it will create another folder with this name, open it and look for the text file dumpstate_board.txt

It is safe by if you have early model it possible. Most Poco F3 are lock by Qualcomm from Marketing reason.
Motorola was trying selling Moto Edge S with Snapdragon 870 and 905MHz and was discontinued because was threat to SD888 phones lineup.
Snapdragon 870 is the same chip architecture as Snapdragon 865 Kona. Only CPU gold core is overclock but GPU is still the same Adreno 650 at 670MHz is Adreno 650 at 587MHz even stock table of it has 670MHz.
Poco F3 and most current SD870 phones has newest revision Kona v2.1.

If you have Early model with Kona v2.0 you can safely overclock to mostly 925MHz but SoC lottery so it possible to 940MHz/950MHz without any problems.
Here is my support group if you need anything

New version of Turnip Mesa Vulkan drivers brings Awesome performance improvement to Dolphin Emulator with 43fps in 5X resolution Metroid prime on Vulkan 1.2.204 so the same as v530 from Qualcomm.
AetherSX2 running in 5X as well nothing new 19fps so -4fps from stock so around -18% performance in this game others feel like getting performance boost from it.
New testing has to be done.
Spoiler Genshin Impact works too on Turnip Mesa Vulkan drivers and it pretty good maybe better that stock OpenGL performance we will see.

Aether is probably cpu limited at such a low framerate. They should perform better once I build with mtune and march.

There isn't dolphin build you have to flash this drivers via Magisk as Module to test it or used.

Not yet, someone would have fork dolphin or make a pr to integrate https://github.com/bylaws/libadrenotools so that you dont have to flash it globally. One problem with dolphin is that its vulkan is slower than its OpenGL ES
