I have trouble applying OTA update, but I have downloaded the update zip.
This is not a full update, but an incremental aka delta update. Is it possible to flash it in recovery?

I am rooted and use caulkins rom, this morning I received a OTA update push, should I install it or will it brick my phone?
The update will not install on your device as you have it set up.

ROM, kernel, and modem. you have to be completely stock to install the OTA. Why not just flash a system update from here? Root is usually included.

are there any plans by XDA faithful developers to import the new AT&T update (7/10/2012) as a cmw flashable zip?
since those of us who rooted and have CMW installed cannot update, it will fail.
we need to either flash new stock recovery to do it. wecan either reflash root66 to get stock recovery back, use voodoo ota root keeper and do the ota update. or if someone make the update into a cwm flashable zip and you can just flash that in cwm.
anyone knows of such plans?

I received OTA update from HTC (1.54.708.5, ~170Mb) and of course it won't install by itself with TWRP installed.
I just wounder if it is possible to flash it manually from TWRP?
The update should have already downloaded somewhere in my phone, where can I find this 170mb update out and flash it manually from TWRP? Thank you very much.
I got tired of waiting for someone to release the update so I just reinstalled the stock recovery, received the OTA, the reinstalled TWRP. This update didn't kill root so that was all it took to get it.
After rooting we loose ota update. So how can i update then? With twrp only?
What is more recommended is flashing the kdz file of the update but rooted already and most likely you can keep twrp too
I received an OTA update notification this morning for LGH815AT-V20b-26 however the OTA flash mechanism wont work because I am rooted and not on stock recovery.
Is it safe to flash the dlpkgfile package using TWRP and do I need to unroot first?
