Question Touch to check phone - Google Pixel 6 Pro

Do you know if there's some way to enable touch to check phone instead of touch to wake, when AOD is set to off?
Thanks!

Don't know what ROM you're on, but you should be able to go to System Settings>Call Settings and play with some of the settings there that have to do with the proximity sensor and see if that helps any.
Do you have any screen wake issues?

[Q] Handling Incoming Calls

I couldn't really understand what is the issue. I am not able to receive any notification for incoming calls and the watch is not vibrating when I receive a message/other notifications.
Any help.

Theater mode is supposed to be DND mode. So, the notifications may not comes. For shake hand to wake-up, go to Settings > Wrist gestures and turn it off. Unfortunately, touch to wake up will be still there. I really missed the double tap to wake up feature on my old SW2

Thanks. But I font think the Wrist Gesture setting has anything to do with shake (tilt) to wake up.

No, to just disable tilt to wake, you need to check that setting in the wear app on the phone.

Disable tilt to sleep

Hello guys,
i know there's a way to disable tilt to wake gestures from the watch settings, but is there a way to keep the watch on and also disable the "tilt to sleep" gesture ?
thanks
There is also a way to set screen always ON on watch setting
That's not the same thing. Always on screen is Active even if backlight is off. I want both active at same time ! If i tilt the Watch down, the backlight goes off and any sideloaded app open on Watch get closed.
what do you want ? screen ON with backlight ? without backlight ? active ? not active ?
if you add theater mode (double button click) screen keep ON and not active.
for always screen ON and backlight ON there are some app to keep backlight but battery last 5 hours....

Yep, i want screen on and backlight on as i am testing a sideloaded app, i dont care about battery.
Which app ? I don't want to root my Watch
Some app like :
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=us.instext.lightr
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.phonephreak.extendedlight
Did you ever find something to achieve this? It seems there needs to be a way to disable the action of tilting backwards/down from triggering ambient mode. That StayLit appears to only be for when the watch is still facing you. Ambient still gets triggered in alternate directions.
EDIT: I just realized "Infinity" in StayLit did what I needed. The + didn't work so I thought it wasn't working at all.
