PX5 MTCD_KGL Stuttering / skipping / lagging music!! - MTCD Android Head Units General

Hello,
Not sure if this is the right place, but im losing my mind. I recently got e46 bmw with android headunit, i have never owned one before. Playing music through radio is fine, smooth and clear. Whenever i tried playing music through bluetooth from my iphone 12 using spotify and youtube music is stuttering / freezing every 5-7 seconds. Then i tried downloading spotify and youtube and play from android itself, it still does that! I have attached the video that kinda shows the problem. Stuttering after words “right now” and near the end “inline”

Are you Having Problems with Rooted 2.2? Post Here

Ok, on the leaked version I noticed a few problems:
1) Music Streaming sounded tinny or thinner than on 2.1
2) Listen Podcast APP ff / rew didn't work.
What problems are you seeing on the latest stock 2.2?
Youtube audio problem - No Audio
Profile Settings - Does not detect Bluetooth change
While the speed increase is great, this seems more like a beta release. Too many broken things...
Going to have to go back to 2.1 til they fix some of this...

[Q] Skipping Bluetooth JayBird Freedom jf3

Hey guys,
Whenever I use my bluetooth JayBird Freedom jf3's
They skip audio while I'm in the weight room. At first I thought it was the headset, so I replaced it with a new headset. Didn't work and still skips.
I tried running different Sense roms and MIUI and am about to try Cyanogen.
I'm open to all ideas. I just wanna get a good workout without music skipping.
I have a Droid X (1st gen) running Cyanogenmod 7.1.0-RC0-DROIDX-KANG. I have the same issue with music skipping badly while I am out walking. As soon as I stop moving and stand still, the skipping stops. I can sit and watch a movie on my Asus Transformer TFT101 with these and have no issues.
Any idea? I purchased these for my walks.... not to just sit idle.
Edit: I used the stock music player and PowerAmp version 1.4-build-387 Full version
Just update my Droid X (1st gen) to Cyanongenmod 7-08272011-NIGHTLY-DROIDX. The problem is worse now. Not only does the music continue to skip while I am walking.... now I have the bluetooth connection dropping. When the drop occurs, the music player pauses. I am going to try testing with my Asus Transformer TFT101 running Prime 1.7 rom and I am going to try it with my HTC Thunderbolt running the stock rom (non-rooted). I will post more later.

Edit: I used the stock music player and PowerAmp version 1.4-build-387 Full version
Well... on the HTC Thunderbolt, running the stock ROM (Android version 2.2.1), (Baseband version 1.39.00.0627r), (Kernel version 2.6.32.21-g0606a3a [email protected] #1) the Jaybird JF3 Freedom works flawlessly. I have walked/jogged with no skips or pauses. Hmmm
Edit: I used the stock music player and PowerAmp version 1.4-build-387 Full version
BT Stack
Hey brah,
Thanks for the updates. I have tried a few more Sense Roms, and they are working great with my JF3's.
Specifically Kinged SHOOTER E3D: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1203761
After further research online/cross posting in ppcgeeks, I have come to the conclusion that it is the BlueTooth Stack (BT Stack) that is problematic.
Most Sense 3.0 Roms have the better BT Stack.
However, these Sense roms are also terrible with battery life :X
Between low battery and skipping tunes. I've chosen Good Workout > Full Unplugged day.

Possible to make starting music programs like Spotify to switch the MCU to music?

Does anyone know if there is a way (running Malaysk ROM) to make starting music programs (e.g. I use Spotify, MS Groove, podcast players) to switch the MCU mixer to music?
For example - Currently when I am listening to radio and I want to listen to Spotify, Groove or a podcast player next I click the corresponding icon in the launcher but the radio remains on so I have to open the launcher a second time and click Music to turn off the radio/switch android feed to stereo. I would like clicking the Spotify, Groove, etc. icons to do that automatically.
I'd be interested in this as well. I thought that I could do this with Tasker, basically kill the radio app when spotify starts but I don't know what app to kill to make the radio stop.
Killing apps won't help with anything. We need something to switch the MCU audio.
I was operating under the impression that the radio audio stream was coming from an app. However the radio being a hardwired audio input seperate from the Android audio stream would explain why when I reboot the HU the radio keeps playing while it reboots.
I found my solution. I upgraded to a Dasaita MDCD PX5 (OctaCore) with Android 6 and it switches automatically - i.e. Hitting the play button on Spotify turns off the radio, pressing the radio button while Spotify is playing pauses Spotify and so on

Unable to play videos and music both offline and online...

Hi All,
I am unable to play videos in my phone. I tried using different browsers but still did not get any clue on why it is happening.
I have observed that when i am using youtube app, video is playing for 1 sec and getting paused but i could see that the video is getting loaded and when tried using youtube from firefox/chrome it is displaying 100% but the video sttus bar is getting loaded...
and while playing through play music app the music is being played but i am unable to listen the music. I have also checked the sound profile and DND mode is set to off
i tried resetting the phone multiple times but still getting the same issue. Let me know if i can get rid of these issues, i am also looking to root and install a custom rom if required.

Question [solved]Has anybod run into this Bluetooth issue, which is not device related

Hi all,
I am not very sure whether to post here.
Everything is fine with my Bluetooth except for one issue, which might not be device related.
It seemed that since Android 11, for a fresh system, Pixel 3 Bluetooth works well with my car, but after using several days, the media playing and automatically audio switch is well, but the screen in the car does not switch automatically. I have to pause the playing then resume the playing, then the screen comes back with corresponding media info.
After I upgraded to Pixel 6, a similar issue also appears.
This is really annoying but for iPhone, no similar issue shows up.
The media player in my car is an Android device.
Any suggestion would be highly appreciated.
Regards
Under developer option
Change Bluetooth AVRCP version from 1.6 to 1.3
Now fixed the track ID syncing issue
delete, op fixed the issue
