What are the obvious changes you guys have noticed? I personally felt a little down, my unit is defective I assume.
It hits temperatures well above 60°C with the Dual-Core cooler attached to the back. I was expecting a performance increase of some sorts, but nothing.
Can u show me the changelog of update please?

I'm sorry I forgot to add the picture to the post, here it is.
it will break your recent apps , and nothing from the old issues are fixed , battery drain more than usual.
Hi guys..
After the update, there is a very big problem with the microphone.
When I talk on whatsapp or normal phone calls There's a big cut in the sound.
Now I can't use the phone.
Is there a solution to the problem?

Here is the link to the update for anyone who wants it. You can adb sideload it in watch recovery.

OB13 is better since you don't need to install magisk for the touch latency update. They finally fixed the latency issue and the speed gains from it are pretty noticeable. Everything else is pretty much the same thing.
but android system take lot of battery in standby mode in beta13.

Except there is no new OOS Launcher, and no auto night mode in 4.1.3
Does anyone know if it's possible to customize the always on display? I'm rooted and have Xposed, so if there's any Magisk module or Xposed mod anyone knows of, please share
I don't need to see the alarm info on my AOD, I'd rather have it replaced with battery info, and I'd like to have a mobile/WiFi icon (whichever is active).
It would also be nice to have charging info as well, but I haven't been able to find any app/mod/module that does something like this. Any info would be appreciated
Anyone? :crying:
This will very nice....
Well, as far as i know that is not possible.
However, It is possible to show it where the "NowPlaying"-Text appears.
I could try to build an App that shows the Battery-percentage at that place, but i don't know if that's still meaningful since Android P is coming up and already has that implemented. Would you be interested?
Well, the Icons are just placeholders - but take this as a hint to what is (maybe) coming up soon.

Wow, that's extremely kind of you, and something I could not ask you to do for me. However, if you insist, I definitely won't be against the idea
The screenshots look awesome, whether or not this app becomes a reality, I can't say thanks enough for your kindness
Thank you for your kind words!
You wanna Test the App for me? Since my Pixel 2 is currently on repair by Google

Maybe not with an Xposed module, but a developer I'm guessing could use OMS with substratum to theme it? It is possible to edit it with OMS, although to what extent I'm not sure, I'm not a developer. Here is a clock theme that changes the AOD clock: Google Play
As a side note, I'm not sure if the developer intended it to edit the AOD, as it's for the lockscreen clock, but it changes the AOD one. At least with the options I selected in substratum.

Yeah Sure, i will invite both of you to the GPlay-Alpha as soon as i finish this puppy.
Sadly, over the weekend I can't finish this, since I got a house that needs some work, and later today I'm off for a great time in a musical.
But i already made the App open source since I wrote the first line of code for it. So if anyone here knows how to contribute in the actual Development, hit me up and I'll send you my Repo. ?

Hey can I test this app too?
So, I guess I've got enough Testers now.
Just to give a quick update to all of you:
This week I did literally nothing on the App as I was at the ophthalmologist (eye doctor), needed to clean up my House, get my Car trough the main inspection and beside all that I got a regular Job I need to go to. :silly:
But I got my Phone back - nearly no blue shift, nearly no black crush, and my speaker rattle is gone! :highfive:
This evening I'm going out with my girlfriend. So I may be able to get back to work on the App today for an hour or so. I'll keep you updated!

You never know until the Bulletin comes out on Monday.
My wants would be:
- Improvements in video recording sound
- Improvements in low volume speaker distortion
- YouTube videos play in the center of screen
- Improvements to memory management
- Additional video recording option (4k @60)
- Improvements to navigation gestures between recent applications and application drawer
Battery and heat improvements
I hope they are going to do something with memory so fortnite is not going to be killed because reaching 1.9GB memory usage.

Yes, Idk if it's only me or what, but... Fortnite crashes every time when I'm about to arrive from the parachute.
And the app kick me off ...
It's annoying.
Now, Idk is due to Lack of optimization by Epic ?

Unfortunately It's not. Android on Google pixel is not willing to give more than 1.8GB of ram to this game and kills it if fortnite crosses this mark. For example Galaxy s8 happily gives even 3 GB ram and game is working smoothly there.

In conclusion, we'll never be able to play this game decently in our Pixel?
Or is there a solution?
By the way, do you have the same problem?
I would like them to fix the damn earpiece clicking during phone calls and the speaker buzzing/distortion at lower volumes/certain frequencies. That and further improve memory management.

I'm looking for:
1) Distortion fix in bottom speaker.
2) Fix of erratic failure in proximity sensor when bring phone to your ear.
3) Better memory management.
Anyone any idea when this OTA might happen?
Cheers.

Were you rooted before the update and if so did you keep it after the update?
Nope, i wasn't rooted
Got it via the updater app..
Green tint totally fixed
but image retention persist
Definitely not getting it in the US right now, either in system updates or the Oxygen updater
Doesnt mention display improvement
I noticed image retention a few days ago on the battery bar at the top. Ghosting can happen. I removed all icons from bar at the top but it took 24 hours for the battery ghosting to disappear. 24 hours.
Due to burn in risk I removed these icons for good.
With the new update put icons back and I can confirm the ghosting still remains. Don't want to test long term as I'm worried about burn In
got it through updater. green tint is massively improved. maybe even solved (cannot comment as I can't go into a fully dark room right now), but there is clearly some shade difference moving the brightness lower (likely when PWM changes its rate). I do notice a bit of a red effect around some elements but it is too early to tell if it is anything.
also DC Dimming black crush is improved massively, I am super happy about that

Nice to see Oneplus is busy to enable 5g for new providers on every OTA, it sucks they didn't activate VF NL (yet)
Maybe they're holding on the US to give us dual sim.... Or is this wishful thinking?

Would guess wishful ....ha ha
Now will be checking every few hours for AA.
The Bluetooth connectivity is so messed up with this update that the phone is not usable with a Bluetooth headset (and its the only way how I take calls). I dont get this: I hoped that they improved the WiFi 5Ghz problem and video stutter issue ( I didnt checked the first one) with the update, but they messed up one of the essential functions of the phone. The problem is: the phone is 1000 Euro and after every update it has at least one MAJOR ISSUE. I couldnt use it normally for a single day for a 1000 Euro phone. And I wanted to give it a chance. This is getting rediculous.
I think they fixed the green tint with the red tint?. Anyway much better than before. I want to try for a day the input lag of the touchscreen and the tint if are gone
