Hi everyone, I need some assistance, again, in flashing my S20 Ultra 5G SM-G988U1 . So, I switched from Sprint to AT&T. The phone is unlocked, but when I flash, it shows successful, but then the Brand in my settings show Sprint and the Service Provider Software version shows Sprint. See attachments.
I've tried the following, flashed the updated U1 software from Sam mobile website using Odin3_v3.13.1_3B_PatcheD, it showed it passes, but then it still showed Sprint. So, then I tried using Odin3.14 and still it showed Sprint. I even tried flashing the AT&T update. The issues I'm experiencing is that it does not allow me to access vmail and it's always saying that the Activation is not complete, internal error 407. In addition, it will drop calls frequently.
So, any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hello,
I have called Sprint many times, after they keep telling me it is unlocked domestically and internationally, I finally gave up. The phone simply says to contact sprint to unlock. I have no idea what to do. When I press UCCI Unlock it gives me an internal error(407). I tried flashing unlocked firmware (U1) But it does not work on that either. Tried booting up with T-Mobile sim inside, still same result. What to do?
Please help!
I had the same problem. I did a factory reset of my phone, and afterwards, the phone was automatically unlocked. For me, it seemed like a firmware bug.
Hi all. After the phone get unlocked, flash the U1 firmware and you'll be just fine. On the U1 firmware, T-Mobile is the only US carrier network that utilize the full potential of the U1 firmware, Wi-Fi calling and VoLTE. Verizon second with VoLTE, Sprint and AT&T no ? good on U1 firmware, only standard U firmware. Happy flashing
Hi all, I'm hoping someone can answer a few questions before I flash my phone (or waste my time doing so).
I'm using a Verizon Branded Note 10+ (N975U). However, it's carrier unlocked and being used on Total Wireless (a Verizon MVNO - subsidiary of TracFone).
I'm not getting OTA updates because I'm no longer on "real" verizon service. I verified this by waiting 5 weeks for the Android 10 update, and then popped in a friends VZW SIM and got the update instantly. I'm now behind again (Verizon dropped their most recent update over a month ago w/Jan security patch) and receiving "no update available" using the update firmware option in settings.
Additionally, my total wireless SIM can't populate an APN, and I've had nothing but problems with my data as a result. I'm assuming this is because of the VZW CSC, but not sure.
I'm thinking of flashing to the most current U1 firmware, and hoping/assuming this will resolve my problems. Wondering if anyone has any feedback.
If I do it, should I flash the VZW CSC again, or use the TFN CSC for Tracfone, or XAA for default? Do I need to hard reset? Official or Modded Odin? Etc.. Any help would be appreciated.
A little further info: If I put an AT&T SIM card into my phone, it will populate the AT&T APN from the SIM card, so I'm assuming my APN issue is that Total Wireless still uses the VZW CSC, and there's a conflict that Verizon firmware overrides the APN setup aspect. However, my Total Wireless SIM card works perfectly fine and populates the APN on my Unlocked S9+. This is a big part of what makes me think going to U1 will help my issues.
Yes flash the U1, you won't have any issues and will be even better on total wireless. I did the same for MetroPCS

Did it work?
What CSC works for the SM-N975U on Total Wireless?
Thanks in advance!
I have been trying to unlock a Samsung Galaxy S9 T-Mobile model SM-G960U to use it on local carrier (Ecuador) with no luck (I have use doctorSIM service too)
After booting the phone a got a message:
Security error.
This phone has been flashed with unauthorized software is locked. Call you mobile operator for additional support. Please note that a repair/return for this issue may have additional cost.
Trying to use the T-Mobile device unlock app, then a screen shows up with a message "Your device is network locked at this time, which prevents it from operating with other compatible wireless networks. To inquire about your device's unlock eligibility please continue" but after tapping the Continue button there is not option of permanent unlock, I got a message saying: "Server not responding. Please try again later."
I have trying to install de stock firmware G960USQU7ETG3_G960UOYN7ETG3_TMB (Android 10) downloaded from Frija using the Odin tool, doing a factory reset, wiping the cache, doing a NAND Erase with Odin, but the security error still shows up.
The device is able to browse on websites using Wi-Fi, what should I try next?
paid services are the only way. You won't get help on that here. They employ a different type of lock than most devices.

I don't know all the ins and outs of tmobile unlocking (not a fan of their service). However, I recently had in hand a paid off s9+ which was still locked. I ran the unlocking app multiple times over the course of a few hours. Each time it came back with an error (unsuccessful or something to that effect) when I tried the permanent unlock. For each attempt the tmo sim with active service was still installed. Eventually it did finally unlock. I'm not sure if a tmobile sim with active service is a necessity. Probably is as it has to authenticate the account for unlock eligibility.
I have a Verizon Samsung Galaxy S9 Sm-g960u and needed to switch to T-mobile. I had no problem switching from one carrier to another because I was told that all Samsung Galaxy S9 devices came factory unlocked. I bought a T-mobile Samsung Galaxy S7 Note from a friend and tried using the T-mobile app to unlock the phone I think there was a problem so he just called T-mobile and explained that he sold his old phone blah blah blah and since he owned it they just unlocked it right over the phone, no problems or issues.
Hi,
So yesterday I successfully unlocked my Galaxy A50 from Three network and ported my number to 48 network. Went to a phone fix shop to get the phone unlocked and it took about 20 minutes (cost me €25). Everything about the phone and 48 network works fine. However, when I went into Software update in my settings and tried to download and install the latest software update, I receive the message "Your current software version isn't supported. Visit a service centre".
I never had issues with updating software before and after checking online it seems that maybe the software updates are carrier locked (to Three network) and that if I want to update the software I would need to put an active Three SIM into the phone.
I rang back the guy who unlocked the phone and he said that people never come back to him with this issue after unlocking their phones, but if I wanted he would be able to manually update the phone and in the future it should update automatically, but this will cost €35 as he said he may need to backup everything and upload it again and it's a lengthy process.
It's either that, or find a Samsung Service Centre in Ireland (can't find any on website) or put a Three network SIM in any time I want to update.
Does anyone have any experience with this? Would really appreciate some help!
I switched my carrier from Verizon to PureTalk. Verizon says my phone is unlocked, even when they try to unlock my phone it gives them the pin of 00000000. I still get the notification of "SIM card is not from Verizon Wireless". I am at a loss as to how to fix this, I had to edit the APN to allow me to have data & MMS. everything seams to be working as of right now, except the phone gives me that message and I get the Verizon splash screen and of coarse all of the bloatware! I am looking into doing a firmware install, however, I'm not sure which is the correct one and unsure if this will fix the message. I have downloaded the latest firmware labeled as USA/USC from SAMMOBILE - Firmware.
I want to make sure moving to this firmware would resolve this message before I attempt it or if there is something I need to do before moving to a new firmware!
Any help is much appreciated!
