So here we are with Flyme OS 6 port for Samsung Galaxy Note 4 T-mobile .

What works?
• Almost Everything!
No Wifi Calling
NO Volte
How to install/use/setup
Boot to TWRP.
Wipe Factory,Clear Data And Clear Cache.
Flash the rom.
Flash Cam
Reboot.
Boot will take 5-10 minutes.
Go through setup wizard.
Enjoy!

Thank you for the port to Note 4. Looking good.

1. Play Store is working ok, yet Google Services' error messages popup a few times already
2. Please fix the additional language download
3. When playing a song and I wanted to delete it, but it is still there after deleted. I am not saying delete it in File Manager; delete songs directly in Music player
4. Needs LanROMcontrol to set outdoor brightness for daily use or do not turn it off after 15 min. Really want this to work on all ROM. This auto turn off feature is irritating like volume warning.

thanks for the rom @Lanc-City !! been running it for a day no issues that ive come across. a nice change from touchwiz for sure. i miss color os lol zzz

google play services constantly crashes. Updating it does nothing, Deleting and reinstalling also does nothing.

Thanks for the new rom! Really fun to play with. But I have Bluetooth share FC constantly. I have a w8. Clean installed.

Great ROM.. UI is fresh.
Problems that I have faced so far:
1. Gmail app keeps crashing.
2. Unable to create widget for Microsoft Outlook
3. Merge contacts takes forever to scan for duplicate contacts.
Will update if i find more issues.
Hope stable release comes out.

Play Games Without Google Play Services

Hi All,
Hope you are fine. I am using LOS for N910C and didn't install Google apps and not thinking to install.
I am not using Google Play Services and all of Google products. For this reason i found LineageOS and i appreciate to the developers. I wish i could help but i don't have knowledge about programming. I am downloading APKs from the internet and installing by manual. For example Into The Dead 2. This game is free, i downloaded APK and OBB file of this game. Moved the folder to obb folder and installed APK. It is working, i can see the menu and other buttons but i can not click because of won't run without Google Play services, which are not supported by your device error. There is an OK button on error but it can not be clicked. I tried with many games, result is same.
Now i am asking how can i bypass this error or play games with or without Google Play Services?
P.S: My first option is definitely without but i can install only Google Play Services application and of course i will disable critical permissions.
Could you please help me about this issue? I need your experiences.

Google play services has a module called play games. Many games use that for storing results or setting up multi player sessions. If you don't need all of that, you can try xposed module no more Google.. Or play services replacement microG. Nanodroid is a popular microG installer.
If you need the play games functionality, you should install open GApps pico. Besides restricting permissions, you can use some xposed firewall. And an add blocker of course.

Installed MicroG Core and Proxy service. My device supports signature spoofing feature. And i clicked Self Check from the menu and everything is working.
Tried with a game, result is same.
Where am i doing wrong?

You have to install fake store as well and give spoofing permission. Please post screenshot of self check.

When a game does not work in this configuration, it probably depends on Google play games. Last chance: install GApps, start the game, take a backup (titanium) restore microG setup, restore game.

The Google Assistant will not work what so ever!!!!

I have the latest version of RR installed and I cannot get the Google Assistant to run I also have the Assistant app installed. I can't even hold the home button to get to just the Google voice search, every time I want to use my voice I have to use voice search in the Google app it's self. Can y'all please help me I would like the connectivity to my Earbuds back

Have you used the correct GAPPS package??, theres companion apps for the assistant to work and libs, rr does come with google but slim.

full would be preferable, read instructions and notes to make sure its all compatable , i think RR have there own GAPPS.

There is no gapps for rr especially for GSI

Xiaomi EU (MIUI) Update and Google Maps

I have recently updated my operating system to the latest stable by Xiaomi EU (by updated, I mean I have wiped and fresh installed the latest one).
All is well however the official Google Maps app is "not compatible with your device" now in the Play Store.
All other apps install just fine along with some other Google apps I use like Translate.
Does anyone know why this has happened?
I have also wiped and fresh installed previous versions of the Xiaomi EU builds in an effort to get this working but no luck.....Weird because it no longer works on builds it HAS previously worked on..

It seems a Google bug affecting chiron. Just change device's fingerprints. I choose Pixel 2, but you can use Mi Mix 2s, as you wish. You should be able to update or install Google Maps.

Kinda unfortunate about the bug, means no matter what ROM we use it's gonna be the same. Hopefully they fix soon.

I just checked the play store and the bug seems to be fixed!
If you still have the issue, download a build.prop editor and change the device's build.prop file.
You'll need to change the parts which state the model of the phone for example "device name: chiron"
By changing this to something like "Polaris" (Mix 2s) instead of "chiron" it will trick Google.
Edit: You will need to be rooted. And I recommend BuildProp Editor by JRummy Apps

Right now, 9.3.28 (beta) but this was a Google issue, not a ROM issue.

Google assistant "OK Google" resolved (need to be tested)

I think I found a temporary solution for the "OK Google" feature issue in google assistant for Redmi note 8
I tested it in my phone and it's working and I'll be happy if you did the same test to tell me if it's working
what you need is a rooted phone and a file explorer that support root (or any method that will let you change a system file) , I did 2 changes is Build.prop that can be found in \system\ after reboot I went to activate the OK google option and it went enabled and working.
the changes I made were in the lines :
ro.product.model=
ro.product.brand=
in the 1st I put samsung and in the 2nd S10
I wonder if anyone can test and give me a feedback.
**I still have the MIUI Global 11.0.4 I didn't install the latest update yet**

I have checked this and now I can access the assistant by voice. Thanks for the post and I'm on MIUI Global 11.0.6

you won't be able to do the changes if your phone is not rooted

I did this and it worked for me on miui latest beta

it solves it for me. Good idea. I suppose when i update the rom (xiaomi.eu) i will have to do again...

I think you will have to tell me I don't want to do it yet cause I will have to root the phone again and remove the system apps that I don't use

Update : after installing the last MIUI Update 11.0.6.0 the feature was disabled again, I checked the build.prop and the 2 lines I changed went back as previous, I had to make the change again and clear the GOOGLE data, after reboot I restored the OK GOOGLE feature .

On the other hand, it's absolutely ridiculous that this is something that needs to be done in the first place. Maybe they can incorporate it into the Xiaomi.eu builds in the future?

hello I have a redmi note 8 I did this procedure but nothing has changed doesn't work where am I wrong? do I have to restart the phone by chance? do I have to set any particular language? i used build.editor

yes you right I restored the the old build.prop and cleared google data after reboot the feature still work

i went to play store searched google app, opened it, turned on ok google, went through voice test...now works note 8t

google or xiaomi was waiting for us to be able to fix this bug ahahha thanks to the user of the forum ssamurai who had found the XD method immediately after google releases the official update coincidences ... hihiih let's laugh about what is better
