I have the latest version of RR installed and I cannot get the Google Assistant to run I also have the Assistant app installed. I can't even hold the home button to get to just the Google voice search, every time I want to use my voice I have to use voice search in the Google app it's self. Can y'all please help me I would like the connectivity to my Earbuds back

Have you used the correct GAPPS package??, theres companion apps for the assistant to work and libs, rr does come with google but slim.

full would be preferable, read instructions and notes to make sure its all compatable , i think RR have there own GAPPS.

Although he specifically states that TW might not be compatible. It doesn't list Google assistant as a supported feature, but it's in the latest snapshots
Yes, you don't need Android N ify. You will need Xposed and Assistant Enabler module for it. Become Google app beta tester and download the latest beta. Currently I'm using the Assistant on Paul Pizz From.

I recently installed nougat through cm14.1 for my zenfone 2(ze551ml) 2gb ram.
I installed the pico gapps since that's the only one that worked. I made Google a system app.
After that I used the build prop trick to get Google assistant.
Google assistant works but it still doesn't have OK google detection. Any idea on how to solve this?

I've just flashed PA 7.2.1 and OpenGapps Pico on my hammerhead device. Everything works great, I love the PA ROM. However, I cannot get Google Now cards to work. I suppose there's something missing from Google ecosystem, I've installed Google Search app together with Google News & Weather app, still no luck tho.
Any suggestions, please?

Well, in many places we do recommend Open Gapps, but for me, it seems it´s missing some stuff and/or not working good for most devices. My first suggestion, long press the home button to Google window to show up and accept, after that it should work and appears.
If not as an a try, flash Beans Gapps, and be sure you are using our Launcher3 which already includes Google Now cards when you swipe from left to right. Also be sure that you´ve signed up.

I can't get my Samsung S5 with mentioned ROM to import contact from either google, nor vcf. Does anyone have any suggestions? i tried resets etc, but no luck. I can create a new contact locally, but it won't sync with cloud.
I thought maybe security settings are too strict, but can't find a reason why that could be.
Have you installed pico open gapps? With google contacts you can synchronize.

No, just the regular ROM app, plus I tried the official google app. Can't sync nor import.

Installed Play Store and then some other gapps. Where to find pico? Could you please link?
don't know whether or not "arm, 10.0, pico" is the proper selection. You should ask in the S5 section.

But before that you should uninstall your google apps.
As an alternative you could also try to add your google-account to your accounts and sycnhronize it

I did already install stock arm64 stock, and play store, gmail, drive etc do work...

Don't understand what exactly you have installed, sorry. Some more details and links might be helpful. Did you flash opengapp? What about this alternative?
Edit: there is an app for that, but it did not help with my whatsapp contact problem. Plus I don't know whether or not the code is 100% ok. In order to synchronize the google contacts, I simply activated synchronize (without this app).

I think this may be a system-wide problem, as even my system update isn't able to check if there are any. Will look into it later.

Don't install GApps, if your only problem is getting contacts into WhatsApp. Import the contacts vcf in contacts app. Give WhatsApp contacts permission and go in WhatsApp select contact threedotmenu refresh
Synchronisation worked for my 17.1 LOS + pico with the app contacts sync fix.

I have this problem too with my S5 (sm g900f) as well as with my S4 (gt-i9505)
The S5 runs with Lineage 18.1 and bitgapps, the S4 with lineage 17.1 and open-Gapps arm 10 pico. No problems with WhatsApp contacts, but severe problems with the teleephone contacts. When I choose "export as vcf file", the system creates that file but does not fill in data. It is an empty file. .When I try to copy (via twrp) the file data(data/providers contacts.... from the old phone to the new one, no contacts are shown on the new one. All contacts are on the device only. Google does mot have them. Is there any way to solve this problem?
With the latest app updates, some G-app (like Duo, Keep, …etc) got this message “App won't run without google play services, which are missing from your devices … INSTALL”, even though "Google Play Services" is installed with the latest version. Sometimes games are stuck at the loading screen like “ActionTaima..” because the game can't access Google Services correctly. The workaround solution was to find & revert back to the proper/previous version & Uninstall/re-install them, whenever G-store updates them automatically. It's kinda annoying
After research, trailer & error, I found that updating “Google Services Framework”, does solve this issue. I presume, latest G-app deals with “Android 11+”, therefore, Google Services Framework must be updated in order to match with it.
1) Download Google Services Framework 11-6684105
2) Install & enable Autostart & Reboot your system.
I'm glad to hear any other methods or solutions

- Google Play Service, Store, Framework, Google Account Manager, Google Contact Syn are autostart.
- Permission is "always enabled" especially for "Privacy & Multimedia & ..."
Then restart your phone

To screen capture the whole page:-
1) Press Volume Down + Power button
2) On the top right, Quickly Press Scroll Option.
3) Let it view the whole page, then crop what you like.

Hi, I'm also facing the same problem when opening pro evolution soccer ,pes21 on my mi 10 youth. I allowed all the permissions, other apps are okay with that except pes21.
NB:My device is running on Android 11
But i installed Google service framework android 10 based, could that be a problem?
Also, pes21 last datapack 5.5.0 was okay with device on Android 11 but google service framework was android 9 based. I tried 9 based one, it's also not working.

I understand from your statement you finally managed to run the PES2021., but you still have login issue.
Anyway, try to check out the google account manager app. if your don't have it, try to install it & sync it from account & sync.
