Hehe, pretty sure that you missed the 100 bug fixes list from last week. Of course they wouldn't tell you which ones the added

I just sideloaded the OTA (system wouldn't recognize a new update with manual update searching) and everything worked fine, no problems so far. So the OTA file is safe.

Just got done doing the same to my Verizon variant. All is well. Those of you who are new to this, if you don't want to wait for your phone to truly get it OTA, you can find the files and directions on how to do it here. Sideloading is very straight forward, only takes a few steps, and doesn't require an unlocked bootloader. https://developers.google.com/android/ota

tried sideloading Mines stuck on Step 1 of 2 at 84%. how long did it take for anyone else that sideloaded?

About 7-8 min I think, mine didn't stop somewhere particularly long, even though I had instances of side loading in the past where it just stopped for several minutes ago a certain % mark and then after some time just continued.

Never reboot if a side load fails, or you will high chance run into a boot loop. Just wait until adb finishes with error and then side load again. It should be safe to boot into recovery, just don't boot into OS.
Also, make sure that your adb version is up to date, Plus your cable might be the culprit of problems. Always use a direct connection to your motherboard, Don't go into a front panel or use a USB dongle. Windows hates Android and vice versa.

Yeah its been on 84% for probably 25 minutes now. Phone is on step 1 of 2 installing update. I grabbed the US Carrier update. my phone is on T-Mobile. Will it fail at some point or can i cancel it then re-push it?

That's the right one for the P6P. So in lieu of rebooting can anyone here say what will happen if he unplugs the device from the computer? Will it just fail and reboot into previous install?
Is the cable you're using a good one? Version of platform tools?

183.46.15 Firmware update

So I got a notification today for a new firmware update to 183.46.15. WIthout thinking I hit install, even though Im unlocked and rooted. Now the phone kept rebooting into TWRP. Any idea when we should have a flashable firmware for this? Just had to factory reset.

In order to install system updates you need to be on full stock firmware and recovery. Also, If you receive that update again, please capture the zip and post it.
I got it too today...
..but haven't applied it yet, of course. Where should I look for the zip? I'll post it right up.

But, if i accept this update, can i install my custom recovery using adb/fastboot method or i have to keep away from this?

Updates are named after the version from which you are updating from. I'll need the build.prop sent to me if you guys would like me to apply the tether patch.
To update: Flash stock recovery, undo any system modifications. Update, reflash recovery. Reroot. Will not relock BL

Security and messaging improvements apparently.

To elaborate (and make it easier to find in TiBu), that's com.motorola.ccc.ota, or "MotorolaOTA 1.0".
I'm freezing, too, as it'd be easier to RSD back to stock than to manually put it back together if I wanted to update (in other words, I'm lazy).
I am curious, though, on what exactly the update changes/fixes. D'oh, I missed coronado's post.

Any thoughts?

Did you make sure you unlocked your moto 360? It will say unlocked on the bootloader screen. This is a must. Also, do you have the drivers installed correctly?

Yup to unlock, No to drivers. I presumed I already have the 360 drivers.
I'd try the drivers and report back.
Thanks.
Is it possible to have a fully working android rom on the watch but modified to fit the round screen? Not android wear I mean proper full android lollipop.

Are you certain your jigg cable is working 100%?
In an effort to get more people able to root their watches or install my custom ROM, I'm building a 3d printed connector for the Moto 360 instead of using the hacked together jigg. I'm trying to finish it up this week and will have them on sale either this weekend or sometime next week.

I haven't found any posts about this yet, not through T-MOBILE anyways. As you can see, I'm connected through my home wifi but I don't have an option to download anything? I'd rather it not update around 11pm - 4am as I have to be up for work at 5am and my phone is my only alarm. Is it downloading in the background through wifi and then I get the option to install when it's done or what? I've tried updating through LG bridge and there's no updates through that (Lg bridge updated to latest version as well.)
Anyone else getting this?
Just checked, I can confirm it.

Damn I just checked it for the hell of it and seen the update.....but unfortunately no longer have a PC so I can't go back to stock to take it
it must be 7.0 .....
i will wait for the flashable stock 20a rom or rooted tot files come out

I tried but when it booted to TWRP I couldn't find the .zip. It wasn't in /cache like I was expecting.
I would wait it out a bit, with the anti rollback and unknown root ability it just seems like a leap to unknown ground. They (LG/Tmo) haven't locked it yet but could at any point.
I see it is ready, but can't download

Ah I see. You must change the date on the phone, not the update message.
Has the update improved camera performance at all? Does it snap any faster?
I will wait for root before making the jump. Any news on what(if anything) changed on the g5 specifically? Anything added or improved?
Anyone not seeing the update keep checking for update again and again .. i think it started showing for me after 10 attempts or so, then i toggled auto time off and changed the time to 2355 hrs = 11:55 pm now its downloading .. i did hear about some things breaking like wifi .. Fingers crossed will update soon ...
Update 1 - it was downloaded several times on my phone but after clicking restart and install, it suddenly goes back to showing "Your System is up to date, last checked xy:zv pm
Update 2 Seems you really need the battery to be 100%, leaving the phone plugged in wont help unless battery is 100%, i dont think it is a smart requirement, but it is what it is..the phone is updating now lets see...
Update 3 It has updated, dont see much changes, camera got nothing that i can say is improved, theming is a bit more complete with not of things going dark when you choose dark themes ... notifications still have white background, an eye sore...

General F936U1 Firmware Now Available

For those looking to flash their devices immediately, U1 firmware is now available via Frija and other such tools that pull from Sammy's servers. Manual Entry is required, XAA sales code.
PDA: F936U1UEU1AVGA
CSC: F936U1OYM1AVGC
Phone: F936U1UEU1AVGA
Standard MO for Samsung is to remove the Manual Entry requirement once the official launch date hits. Once that date comes, you should be able to pull it via Automatic.
I do not own this device nor will I ever so I haven't actually tried flashing. But it should work with latest Patched Odin 3.14.x
Happy flashing!
Well, now I know I can get it. Thanks

There was an update that came out a day or so ago, ending in "VHH". I can only see it for TMK and TMB. I have it installed now no issues but wondering would they usually release an incremental update for U1?

It still has the July Security Patch and only available in certain markets from what I read. Incremental like a small patch and not a full update.

Still don't understand what the difference between "small patch" and "full update" is, in your book. Not all updates are multiple GB in size and/or bring a new UI or Android version. Both U and U1 models have always gotten "small" updates, and always will.
And I'm sure it'll roll out to the other carriers soon
Not sure what I'm doing incorrectly but using the info on OP, I'm not getting anything coming back as available. Anyone else having similar results?

Th last update, f20, contained the same words, "Improves the stability of mobile network connections".
OP why don't you elaborate on that? What stability needs to be more....stable?
And what display issues are they referring to?

I think it's about glitched notification panel, happened to me a few times, especially after rebooting the phone. Glad they acknowledged the issue and fixed it.

Thanks Adiker
Can you elaborate on your glitched notification panel? What was happening?
I wonder if this new update officially enables N77 on Verizon, if you enable it with root you get the 5G UW icon, it's only a matter of time.

Update for LE2125

I'm starting to hate OnePlus and their updates. It's a hit or miss updating my phone nowadays. Restored images, downloaded the update through oxygen updater and tried to install but fails at 51%. So annoying

The background for the panel switches to your wallpaper and managing notifications becomes nearly impossible.

I have the same problem on an unrooted and bootloader locked OP9. I'm so glad I'm only trying to flash this thing so a friend can use it because I'll never buy another OP device. I guess she's just gonna have to live with F.17.
I believe TMO firmware is most reliable. Just my thoughts. Yes they are a little slow but that is because they do more refining before releasing for a solid firmware.

If anyone's wondering, it doesn't. The hack is still required.

Yes, I figured that out after trying to update and root, my guide has been updated to include F.21 in the hack.
