Hello people, I need real help here, I just got the Sony Xperia Play today, and I got it for the sake of the gaming experience especially after passing on your forums... can you tell me, how to start with it?
I have everything running normally, but am talking about the emulator and the games, where to download and where to copy on the mobile at what folder and so on... like a newbie guide for me.

just type in google fpse setup guide and make sure your ps1 games are in iso format and you need a ps1 bios file to get full performance and to save your games
You'll need an app installer.
Put the APK on yer phone memory card, navigate to it from the app installer.
You'll need another folder for the BIOS/Images(roms).
FPSE will let you navigate to these, its kinda easy after that.
Thanks guys but still I know nothing, I don't know where to put the fpsec, I just plug the mobile the tools open up on my PC, I can browse the SD, and that's all, where should I put it? at what folder? where can I browse it from? those basic questions... thanks
Can anybody tell me where can I put it on my SD and where can I navigate it from on the phone?
FpseCE is for Windows Mobile, you need the version that is on Google Play.
Also, do what Shaun27 said

Just look up tutorials online. It's really not difficult. No need to create a thread about this.

Where can I find the PS free ones?
You have to rip the CDs that you have bought and play them

hello all, I have a few problems with the process of sideloading google play onto my ouya, i am not a skilled android user but i am familiar w/ them and am a good reader/listener but i havent seen this issue anywhere so i hope someone here would be willing to help me out.
my goal was to sideload google play apk on my ouya. I successfully rooted it, installed the xposed framework and used ADB to push the ps4ouya_script contents onto my system.
it worked, but not fully. some of the files were successfully transferred but 2 technically did not. they show up, but are broken.
com.android.vending.apk and com.google.android.gms.apk are showing up as 0kb in system/app and I cant remove them. everything i try (overwriting via file managers, command line, re-pushing) all have no effect.
what can i do?
i have read and followed multiple guides here and on ouya forum to no avail. i'm sure i messed something up but i am at a loss as to what it is.
After further reading it sounds like ouya toolbox might help me with the removal of the broken system apps and this mod might be useful for a reinstall: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2359390
I'll try it and report back, but if anyone has any thoughts/insight I'd be grateful.
EDIT
Ok problem solved, Mod Collection For Ouya [link above] was able to [properly] install google play and it corrected the problems I had. If youre new to all this I highly recommend using it as its idiot proof. well, it helped me
Now for some MC4 action!
Hi everyone is it possible to play games straight from Pendrive without install `em on SD card. If so could someone please explain to me that because I can't get it to work. Thanx in advance

This won't be easy and will certainly not work out of the box.
In the standard case the .apk file needs to be installed on the system itself.
But: there is an app to use a secondary partition which is called Link2SD, you need to have a rooted device though.
I found a guide for the process on the Ouya Android-device, which might point you into the right direction: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2345680
Good luck and please keep us updated with your progress on the matter
Hi! That's my first message here
Just got an Xperia M as gift, and being it my 1st android phone i'm still trying to figure things out.
First things first: phone is successfully rooted, and im navigating into it with root explorer
My problem:
i have little free space left (80megs) , and got a pair of big games which managed to download themselves on the phone, but refused to install (dead trigger 2, 250megs)
This mean that when i go on the google play store page of that app i get directly the "install" button, so the game .apk must be somewhere on the phone storage.
Where is it located?
Where does google play store store the downloaded .apk files before installation?
I tried to look at the locations cited in this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1699698
but couldnt find anything, so i guess Sony must have moved that cache folder somewhere else on the phone.
Does anyone know the exact location?
Thanks in advance for the answer
