Although I've suspected this for a while, and it's still a rumour, it turns out MS are releasing a second update in February. (Engadget source). "Word is that users will be getting added customization options for their phones, while developers will gain an extra few API hooks and controls."
I think MS are certainly on the right path with the continual updates. Not only does it show commitment to the platform, it will also give a more positive impression on non-techies. As a dev, assuming it's true of course , I can't wait to see what SDK updates will come through.
Maybe so maybe not. From what I have read MS has not committed to anything but early first QTR 2011.

I'm sure they will have something for MWC 2011. It would only make sense imo.
I don't think the actual update will be in Feb. I think they are just going to talk about it in Feb.
I'm guessing that cut and paste will come in early Jan along with some bug fixes and minor tweaks. Then at MWC in Feb, they will annouce a major update that will include turn by turn nav, multitasking, Skydrive integration for Office plus the APIs & customizations already mentioned in this post, and possibly Flash. Although it will be announced in Feb, it won't happen untli March or April.
Just my 2 cents worth...
That makes sense I guess. I hope the delay isn't too long as I think MS need to try and release continual updates as frequently as possible - at least until they catch up feature-wise. I heard the copy and paste update should be available very soon, and I don't think there's much doubt there. Would be interesting to see what happens at MWC. An announcement would be good, but a release would gain quite a lot of positive attention.
I hope they release socket-access APIs for developers. Then we can finally get some streaming apps and I can finish my epic multi-player game.
200 ships fighting in real time on a map doesn't just run through HTML ya know.
So, the Android G+ page was updated with this late yesterday:

"We are excited to announce the Galaxy Nexus Challenge with 10 chances over 10 days for fans around the world to win a Galaxy Nexus, the first phone with Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich.
A new Challenge will launch daily from 11/12 to 11/21, testing a wide range of skills. Head over to http://goo.gl/C5IR7 to check out the rules. Challenge 1 launches tomorrow at 9am Pacific Time!"
So it looks like you need to follow @googlenexus on Twitter and then all you have to do is participate in the challenges to enter.
More importantly, this contest lasts until the 21st, perhaps confirming a Galaxy Nexus launch date?
There is already a thread about this

As an otherwise fairly satisfied Moto X "Pure" owner, I am extremely frustrated with (now Lenovo's) apparent ignorance on the subject of device security. Monthly Android security updates have been available since last year, but from what I have read, only a few device makers are committed to pushing these out in a (fairly) timely manner: Google/Nexus, LG, Samsung and maybe HTC? Does anybody know the OnePlus stance on security patching and will they push the monthly Android updates on the OnePlus 3? Since last year did current OnePlus 2 users start seeing regular updates? Probably should post this in the other forum as well...

Posted on the 1+ community. Long story short. No. Not monthly anyway.

TL;DR
OnePlus has pulled its build of Oxygen OS 12, based on Android 12, for the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro.
Shortly after the update rolled out, users all around the web complained of bugs and missing features.
The company says it’ll issue a new update “ASAP,” though no other timeframe was given.
Apps crashing, slow animations, and lots of missing features: It doesn’t sound pleasant to deal with these things on your smartphone, yet OnePlus 9 series users have been experiencing all three since OnePlus rolled out the stable build of Oxygen OS 12 earlier this week.
We reported on the issues that OnePlus 9 users around the internet have been experiencing, and it looks like OnePlus has heard our collective cries. The company has officially pulled the stable Oxygen OS 12 update from the OnePlus 9 series. In a statement to Android Police, the company said:
We are aware of the issues caused by the OxygenOS 12 update and our software team is fixing them. We will suspend this software update and roll out a new iteration as soon as possible.
The statement above is all we have from OnePlus on the subject, so we’re not sure when the company plans to issue a new, more stable build of Oxygen OS 12. We will certainly keep you updated as we learn more.

Since the update rolled out on December 6, users on Twitter, Reddit, and official OnePlus forums have complained of the new software’s issues. Some users complained of a black screen showing for a few seconds after unlocking the phone, while another user claimed the task manager was not closing all apps as it should.
And those are just the functional issues with the software. OnePlus’ build of Oxygen OS 12, which is based on Android 12, is missing many features that were present in older builds of Oxygen OS. Many users complain that the Google Feed can no longer be turned off, which has struck a particularly loud chord throughout the OnePlus community.
If the Oxygen OS 12 update is available for your phone, we suggest holding off on updating your device until we hear more from OnePlus.

Do you mean our "cries" are not legitimate? They should burn in the deep of the hell for relesing that thing as stable, considering money I spent to buy this phone, that really should not happen.
I also don't expect too much from them, I'm not sure what are they aware or not. Probably I will try after 5 months and still will see misplaced icon and invalid font sizes when I set high dpi + strange colors of chat messages in Google Messaging app
More like our immediate concerns and OnePlus needs to get it right before releasing!
Oneplus should employ testers and do not treat customers as testers. They released beta called stable, collected bug reports, then beta is pulled. Everybody happy? Not really, I wasted one day to downgrade and setup my phone from scratch

I'm really excited to use Android 12, but Motorola doesn't seem to care. I have heard the news that Moto phones will receive Android 12 in Feb, but there isn't any timeline.
Do you guys have any idea?

Really the only thing you can do is wait.
You can see which models are getting updates on the Moto update tracker.
Just search by codename (hanoip) or Model # (XT2135)

G60 got Android 12 in India last week.
Seems slower now. There are a few bugs around status bar. May be it needs a factory reset.
Overall it is alright.
